Stopped by for a quick drink on our way home to Ohio. Was bummed no bathroom. But I get it with COVID-19. I messed up my order and ordered a hot drink on a hot day. They had already made the drink when I realized it, I asked if I could switch it to an iced beverage and they were so cool with it. I offered to pay the extra, they said, no way, they should have asked if I wanted hot or iced. What, so cool. In the end they said there going to pitch my hot drink and told me just to take it with anyway. I offered to pay for the extra, they said, have a great day. Store was clean, staff super nice. This location has a wonderful drive-thru but I would not recommend going inside. My mom and I stopped by to grab a coffee and a quick bite. It was not well kept. Tables, floors and countertops are disgusting. Trash is everywhere, garbage is overflowing, and their self-serve area was out of condiments, straws, stir sticks. You can tell their management does not expect their employees to uphold any sort of cleanliness at this location. I watched a staff member leave at 1:00 and walk right past the very apparent mess. This is the worst location by far! I ordered the drinks and food online and my wife went to go pick them up. They didn't give her one item of our order so when I called up there they told me "we meant to tell her we didn't have it" and that we could come back up and get a refund. It would cost me more to drive up there than the refund is worth. I will never go back to this location, they need to do better. read more

I really don't understand the popularity of Starbucks. I only stopped because they were close by. I figured I would give them another try and I really needed a cup of coffee. I like a dark roast and their suggestion was a Verona. There were 6 people working but it took almost 10 minutes before I got it along with a donut...it wasn't busy but they did apologize that they forgot my order. Two sips in and I remembered why I hate their coffee. Bitter and burnt with notes of ash would be my impression of a Verona. I tried the donut thinking I could use the coffee to wash it down. Nope! The old fashioned glazed donut was so old the glaze had melted and sticky/gluelike wound be my comparison. It was inedible. I didn't have time to ask for a refund so just tossed in their trash and left...for good! I guess if I liked the many super sweet coffee concoctions they offer I'd be a fan too. But for just a good cup of strong smooth coffee I'll go elsewhere. read more

I generally like this location, though it is always busy, as others have noted. That's great for them but it does sometimes mean you need to wait a bit for your order. I've seen the drive though line be quite long, though I have a personal policy against using drive through for most things (that's another story for another time). Anyway, back on track, the staff are generally pleasant and the times (more than once) they have messed up my order, they are always apologetic and willing to make it right. What more can one ask? Mistakes happen. The seating is fairly limited and quite tight. So, if you are a people-phobe who needs personal space like me (again another story for another day), you're not going to find it here. This location, however, is just fine otherwise, just bring your patience. read more

Usually my go to Starbucks but won't be any longer. Today my husband and I ordered two iced drinks and the barista (Lisa) repeated our drinks back to us multiple times correctly. When we got to the window they handed us hot drinks and we asked for iced. The barista that took our order then came to the window and yelled at us saying that next time we need to tell them iced. My husband calmly told her we did and that she even repeated it back to us... at this point she kept telling us we were wrong, rolled her eyes and left. Don't worry Lisa we won't be back there are many other locations that have better service. read more

This is by far the WORST Starbucks in Omaha. The Barista staff is rude, incompetent at preparing drinks the way Starbucks intended them to be made, and service is not timely. This is a busy location, but there are always enough baristas on staff to handle the load of people and the quality and timeliness of service is still lacking. Mobile orders are not ready upon arrival, even after ordering 15-20 minutes in advance. Orders consistently come back incorrectly prepared, and the barista staff treats customers like there's somewhere else they'd rather be or something else they'd rather be doing. Review your management and employ baristas who enjoy serving their community of coffee drinkers. read more

The location on 173rd and center has gone downhill severely this past year. Go there 5 times per week and the mess up basic lattes maybe 2-3 times per week. Every drink tastes different. Other locations get it right every time, the manager at this location today said to bad and go to other locations when I called to discuss a refund on a drink the screwed up on. Drove home and found out they screwed up, took 30 min in line to get correct drink. Out time and gas and they said to bad. Horrible service and communication skills here. Just filled my "January Tumbler" at this Starbucks. A delightful woman whose name I think was Messy served me, and she was great. She was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. She was also great with the customers ahead of me who were having difficulties. The store was clean, well lit, and nice. If I lived in Omaha I would frequent this Starbucks. This is my favorite STARBUCKS. I have been to other STARKBUCKS, they are not as good. This o e should be used to train the others. Martin is a great Manager, all of the Baristas are great. They are friendly, quick, knowledgeable and you feel like you are at home when you walk in. That is not the case at the others. I was at another one recently and asked for a standard blended drink. They didn't know how to make it. I asked them to remake it and it was worse. I gave up and came back later to my STARBUCKS at 179 & Center. They are the best. I hope corporate realizes what a jewel they have at this store. They know their customers and care about them. That is what keeps us coming back. They care about each other. It shows. You want to be there because the atmosphere is so great. Corporate should use this store to train their managers and Baristas. This group works like a team. read more

And automated voice told me they were closed so I pulled around to the window and waited for the person in front of me to pull ahead after receiveing their drink. The young woman at the window mouthed that they were closed and I said what time and she said 10 o'clock so I showed her my phone that said 9:48 and she just walked away.
