Starbucks

It's a Starbucks. The baristas are nice. My problem with this location is its location and setup. Most of the places to sit are in front of windows and the Florida sun during the afternoon heats it up that the AC cannot keep up or the thermostat is set to high. You will sweat. For Panera Bread the windows are not an issue because the place is so big and have seats away from windows. Again the staff and products are fine. But if you plan on sitting in, don't get comfortbale.

SPREAD?? Certainly not cream cheese. Yuck.

Starbucks is horrible anymore. I will no longer go. When did the change to a fake CREAM CHEESE SPREAD??!! Disgusting stuff. Ruined the bagel so I had to throw the whole thing out after just one bite. Their coffee is still just ok, but even the sugar syrups have a different taste to them. I wonder what cheap additives they added to those??

Having a Caramel Flan Frappuchino for Steve! Sure, it's not straight coffee, but it's still caffeinated. Lol

(This my 50th review, so it only makes sense that I'd choose to write about a place I really love!) Starbucks is awesome. That being said, some locations are more awesome than others. The Tampa Road location is one of those, no doubt about it. It didn't used to be. It used to have a very cramped feel. Mind you, the place is pretty small already, but the colors and furniture always made it feel even smaller. Then a few months ago the store got a face lift, and it looks a heck of a lot better now. They have a communal table with electrical outlets lining the sides, a nice couch for two, and a few other individual chairs. The arrangement is much more suited for the shape of the space and, though I liked it before, now I love it. Something that has never changed is the customer service. The baristas here are quick, quirky, and the down to earth; the kind of people I'm glad to see running a coffee shop. My drinks come out right every time, and whenever I'm feeling adventurous these guys are great at suggesting new drinks for me to try. I also love this location because of its close proximity to Panera. More than once I've been able to grab a bite for lunch there, then come right next door to Starbucks for a Frappuchino. It's a really great set up. The only thing I don't love is the parking. They really could use more spots around here, and a lot of the drivers come flying through the parking lot. I've had the daylights scared out of me a few times. If you can get a parking spot then the rest is cake or, in the case of Starbucks, Birthday Cake Pop. Speaking of which, I may just need to make a stop on the way home...

Great friendly service. One of the better locations I have been to. Patio seating outside where you can sit with your doggie and soak up the Florida sun! This place has been our coffee spot as we transition into our new home here in Tampa, Florida!

Dat secret pink drink!

If you are coming in from Curlew, you can get here by cutting through a huge parking lot to get to Tampa road.

A real jewel of a place hidden off the main road (Tampa Rd) in Oldsmar. What a delightful place. We…read morewere anxious to check out the Brazilian foods. We were welcomed and seated right away, and brought menus to look over. There was a bit of an issue up front in that the server did not speak English, so questions we wanted to ask was referred to the hostess that did speak English. We got our usual waters, bottled this time. There was a really nice buffet with a nice variety of dishes, but at $40 a bit expensive for the four of us just wanting to sample some dishes. So we decided to order three different dishes to share. At the buffet I noticed a wonderful smelling Bean and Pork Stew, so I decided to order that. My wife ordered a Cheesesteak Sub that was huge. And we wanted to save room for dessert since the display case had a nice selection of cakes. After a bit, our dishes came hot and tasty. The Bean and Pork Stew with rice was fantastic. Just had to pick through a bit since there were lots of bones. The Cheesesteak Sub was the hit, big enough to be cut into about eight pieces to share. I only had one of the pieces and concentrated on the Stew. Then, of course, we had to have a Chocolate Bundt Cake, which was moist and terrific. You should definitely check it out. A nice surprise for little Oldsmar. Just be patient with the server, unless you speak fluent Portuguese.

My favorites are the spinach & feta and the ham & cheese sandwiches...they're always delicious. The outdoor seating area is fantastic and works well for larger groups, plus it's welcoming to well-behaved dogs and kids. The interior is cozy but a bit small, so it can get busy. Don't let a line out the door scare you off though...it usually moves quickly! Highly recommend if you're looking for a great local spot for coffee and a bite to eat.

The space is cozy and quaint, with just a little bit of indoor seating and some outdoor tables that make it a great spot to sit and relax with a coffee. The atmosphere is really what makes this place special. It has a laid-back, neighborhood feel, and everyone working there was very friendly and welcoming. I also loved that it's within easy walking distance to the Downtown Dunedin market, so it's a perfect place to grab a coffee before or after strolling around town. On this visit I ordered a Snickerdoodle Latte. At first they accidentally gave me a regular latte without the flavoring, but once I mentioned it they were happy to fix it and added the snickerdoodle flavor. The drink ended up being good, though a bit lighter on the flavor than I expected. I expected it to taste more like the cookie, but it was more of a subtle hint. They also offer pastries, though I didn't try any this time. Next visit I'll probably check those out (and see if they happen to have any gluten-free options). Overall it's a really cute spot with a relaxed vibe, and I would definitely come back again -- especially when spending time around downtown Dunedin. I wanted to give a 3.5 stars rating, but decided to round up to 4 stars. Everyone can make a mistake (like with my drink) and I just got a good vibe from this place. I will update my review at my next visit.
