My go to because it's around the corner from work... but it's always a hit or miss here. Sometimes it's so unkept you wonder if anyone is doing any cleaning (bathroom, garbage, tables). Sometimes it's clean. Food items have always been solid for me. Coffee isn't always solid - lattes are definitely hit or miss, but simple pike's place and espresso shots are pretty much solid. Sometimes the people on the other side of the counter are VERY SUPER nice, and others, they're just so mean and rude. Iono. This is the only union 'Bucks in the area. Service is better, much better. When workers have minimal rights and are treated with respect and dignity, then they treat me better. Plus, I know they have courage. They are also better looking than other Starbucks. Unlike other coffee joints workers don't have to show up and work when sick. It's a good place to get work done, I don't have any of those feelings of guilt and shame I harbor when I sip overpriced coffee at a place that is able to ruthlessly abuse their workers. The coffee is better here, less bitter, tastes like justice with notes of dignity. Try the pistachio latte. read more

Pumpkin Spice Latte: Starbucks first released their Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) in the fall of 2003. I was young enough back then that I could not have cared less since I didn't start my coffee kick until my undergrad days (or more accurately early mornings). The PSL soared in popularity and launched the trend of the army of pumpkin flavored products each fall. My loyal followers know by now that I am all about pumpkin, but I've shockingly never had a PSL. I will tell you upfront that it's because of the PSL's only major con, which in my opinion is the price. I can get a decent bag of pumpkin spice coffee (my recommendation is Dunkin') grounds and brew it at home for the same cost as a single grande PSL ($6). Price aside, I really enjoyed my first PSL (compliments of gift cards from work). As much as I like sweets I try not to drink liquid calories, so at 50g of sugar I was bouncing off the walls as it felt like the PSL (and caffeine) was sprinting through my veins. The standard PSL recipe is 2% milk, milk foam (steamed hot), four pumps of pumpkin sauce, pumpkin spice topping with whipped cream, and two shots of their signature espresso roast. Those of you caring to remove the cover and actually look at the drink will notice that it has an appropriately colored orange hue to it. Hate it or love it, if you're a fan of any pumpkin flavored food, treat, or drink (other than the pumpkin pie) there is a good chance that it wouldn't exist if it were not for the popularity of the PSL. I went to this Starbucks for the 2nd time today..idk why I thought to give them a second chance. Anyways, I got to the window and I seen the girl making my drink. She was not making it correctly. She was not following starbucks policy to measure the drink into the shaker, instead she measured the drink into the cup which caused there to be too much liquid and not enough ice. She has long brown hair hair with bleached ends. This was my drink 50 seconds after receiving it. Don't measure things in a cup if you can't do it correctly please. $6 for a drink not to be made correctly with flavors that are unevenly distributed. read more

This Starbucks is a union store--why that is mentioned when you search for local Starbucks locations makes no sense. But while my barista was very friendly, I also found out from this barista that the unionizing was complete chaos, a "disaster", and they are really regretting voting to become unionized. Everyone believes unions are a good choice to get baristas better working conditions, but that's not happening, and the barista I spoke with had no clue of all of the benefits they receive already as a non-union store. Yet now, they're being written up by union reps, have no benefits, and the extra few dollars they receive for being unionized is nothing compared to what stores without a union already receive. AND, they have to pay union dues, and don't receive tips. So sad to see this location shoot itself in the foot--I've been here many many times, but won't support them as they devolve into total chaos, while the union fat cats make more money. This WAS my go-to Starbucks in Oak Creek. I have no idea what happened, but in the past year and a half, they are extremely slow in drive-thru. I have clocked myself sitting there between 8-12 minutes with three cars ahead of me. If you ask them, it's always some excuse with the cash register, etc. I can understand if it is busy time, but for them, ANY time of the day is "busy time" for them. The wait times are just completely unacceptable. I am so glad there is a new Starbucks on Drexel. I'm done going to this location. read more

This location needs work. I sometimes had to go there out of convience and it was alwaysba crap shoot for the wait in drive thru and quality of drink. I've left and started to drink my order due to only to discover it was wrong or watered down. (Grande in a Venti cup?) After a long wait. However other starbucks on the way cheerfully replace the drinks and even acknowledge the problems at this location. Thankfully, the new location on drexel has been flawless. read more

Service can be slow if you get there during the morning and lunch rushes, but the staff are great and friendly.

Can be longer lines here compared to other locations as I've noticed a little slower service. Have experienced varying personalities at the drive-thru instead of mostly bubbly staff. Never had a problem with an order though. Always been accurate and delicious! read more

I used to go here every day because it is a block away from my house, however I had a few bad experiences with my order getting messed up, or being charged for extra espresso shots and not getting them. But what really pushed me over the edge is the guy who occasionally works the drive thru. I order the same thing every day, so I know what I want and I know what I ordered (a quad venti vanilla iced latte), once I got to the window he handed me a hot coffee, so I corrected him and said I ordered an iced drink, it was then remade and somehow turned into a grande, I then told him that I had just paid for a venti and would appreciate it if that's what I got, 15 minutes later I was handed a venti cup. After I left I knew it didn't taste right and looking at the ticket on the cup I was given an iced coffee with milk, which is about half the price of what I paid for and ordered. My last experience at this Starbucks also involved the same barista and the same order, I was in a rush on my way to work and didn't have time to wait on another drink so when he handed me a grande I just took it and left, but not only was it the wrong size it was also the wrong flavor. Needless to say I no longer visit this location, I go out of my way to the Ryan road location. read more
