I think customer service should be a stores number one priority, but I guess I'm wrong. The cashier at this place doesn't seem to want to do his job and would rather tell the barista his own order while I'm just standing there waiting to be acknowledged. No one acknowledges me so I end up having to ask "can I place my order please?" Finally the cashier focuses and takes my order. My friend and I were on the start to our 2nd day of a very long road trip and wanted to coffee to get us through the drive. We got to this Starbucks and both ordered the same drink but different flavors- Sweet Cream Cold Brew, one chocolate one vanilla. This meant that they both should look pretty much identical. However, when we received our order, the heavier set woman with sleeve tattoos handed us 2 completely different drinks. Luckily, the label was on both of them so we were able to see that one was correct (which we could also tell visually, this wasn't our first time at Starbucks), but the other was an "Iced White Mocha". We pointed this out and the women told us that she must have mixed up the drinks and handed out the wrong one to the people in front of us; she told us she would get the right drink made asap. However, less than 1 1/2 mins later she hands us literally the exact same drink except this time without a label to identify that it was indeed still the wrong drink, if not the one that we had literally just handed back to her. Sadly, we were so flabbergasted at the fact that she changed absolutely nothing about the drink that we just accepted our fate and left. This is very stupid because they obviously know how to make the drink correctly, because the first one was spot on, so how could changing it from chocolate to vanilla throw them for such a loop? My theory is that she was honestly just too lazy to remake a brand new drink so she said she would remake it and then literally just handed us the same exact drink we just returned to her. Regardless of what actually happened we never got the right drink and someone either doesn't know what they are doing or is just plain lazy. read more

This Starbucks is by far the worst. Don't bother stopping. Seriously. They are never open during their posted hours and close for no reason. We pulled up to the drive thru and were greeted with a sign that says, "We closed at 11 today". When they are open, the line is around the building. read more

The most awful experience I ever had. These people working at this location are careless and have no right to work with people. I'm a truck driver bringing groceries to stores and waited one hour to get a cup of coffee. I called to store to order they won't take my order over the phone said only drive thru. I went walking but they threatened to call the police if I don't leave. Seriously?! I wasn't blocking anything or causing trouble. I had driven 400 miles and I saw the Starbucks sign along I-80. I stopped to rest and found a great small store. The coffee was excellent and in the Cackyt of the store were six soft padded chairs with 3 coffee tables. I sipped my Pike coffee and planned the remainder of my trip. The. service was fast. The staff was friendly. The coffee was the same price as my local Ankeny, Iowa, shop. There was free parking. The bathroom was clean. read more

Stopped here on my way to Lincoln coming from Denver. Nice front register employee, but the bar lady didn't smile once and was very monotone. Also, my cold brew tasted like it was brewed for too long, didn't add any water, or it was expired. I'm going to go with the last one cause it tasted really bad. There was probably 8 employees working tonight when I walked in. I was greeted by one gal, who then went back to stocking the shelves. The gal behind the counter seemed less than pleased that I wanted to order something. Another customer walked in and he got the same service. The coffee was fantastic. The service was stunning. When I had already driven 100 miles further east on I-80, I discovered that I had lost my hat and gloves. I called them and the staff first checked the store, but eventually found them where I had dropped them in the parking lot. The manager packaged my hat and gloves and mailed them to me! They arrived in just a few days. When I asked her how I could compensate her or at least pay for the shipping. She explained, "We got this." Thank-you, to the staff at North Platte, NE, Starbucks! The girl in the drive thru didn't know what she was doing she asked us to hold on several times so she could help the person at the window. We stopped in here on the way back from the wedding. This place is just off the Interstate and is very accessible. This place was super busy on a Sunday morning around 11:00 a.m. It took a while to get the order, but we had no complaints other than having to wait. The bathrooms were clean and the baristas were in a good mood. They were flying around trying to get orders made. For an sbux on the highway, they don't seem efficient. I placed a mobile order on the app 10 minutes before arriving, there was nobody in the drive through, but my drinks were not ready. There is a sign that says"if you have a mobile order, tell us, and we'll make it!" Therefore defeating the purpose of mobile orders. read more

Whilst this is a nice store it has a SERIOUS FLY PROBLEM. So much so that I can't sit in the store for more than 5 minutes. I understand there are flies in Nebraska, but if there is an issue, there have to be some measures that can be taken to reduce this store from feeling like an outdoor manure farm. read more

We are regular Starbucks customers, stopping at them in our travels throughout the US. This afternoons stop was at the North Platte store. A 15 minute wait for a Strawberry/lemonade refresher!?! No one else in the store although drive through was consistent. Watched the barista pick up my drink cup Three times and put it back down. Clearly she did not want to make my drink. I'm sitting in this Starbucks right now. I ordered the black ice tea. It's just fine....but it's pretty hard to mess up an ice tea. What wasn't fine was the atmosphere and service. It took forever for them to make my tea, even though there wasn't anybody in line ahead of me. It can't be that hard to pour a cup of tea. Atmosphere: Right now there are so many piles of boxes sitting around, you can hardly walk. I've been here over an hour, and nobody has attempted to do anything with them. Also, there are about 12 flies attacking me. I finally asked someone for fly swatter. They said they didn't have one, and didn't seem concerned at all. I kept my review as a 3 star because the coffee was still good, however the cleanliness and overall state of the place was beneath Starbucks standards. The floor in the cafe looked as if it hasn't been cleaned in a week. The bathrooms were ABSOLUTELY disgusting. I'm talking grimy and just gross! Grime around the faucets that looks like it's been there for months. Wait in the drive thru took forever. From pulling up to wait until we received our drinks was 25 minutes. Then once we received our frappuccinos, mine tasted horrible. They obviously mixed it incorrectly to the point that I was not even able to drink it out of the straw until it melted. NEVER had this issue with a Starbucks. To make matters worse we were on the interstate before I tried it to realize there was something way wrong. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I am travelling for business and have stopped at this location twice. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato both times, and both times it had chocolate in it. They don't even know the Starbucks menu. I stopped at different times of the day, so it has to be that the whole staff is clueless on the menu. read more
