Online/mobile orders very organized!

What a way to start your morning !!! Being greeted by Julie and her enthusiasm.. knows some by name .. announces in such a way that you can only smile... sets ip her spot fast and it is the heart of this store!!! Explains why customers are getting a different lid... which some customers were like "this is weird" ... and then Julie will explain why... Clean store... staff is pleasant ... baristas are so into their jobs... great store!!!

Grande black eye (grande pike with 2 shots) for the drive back to NJ

Starbucks is great as it is, but the staff at this location was extra friendly and helpful. Especially in this time, they were all taking extra safety precautions to ensure the safety of all patrons as well as their staff. I got myself a red eye before I was headed home from work. For those of you that may not know - a red eye is a cup of coffee with an expresso shot to get that extra burst of caffeine.

Hoping to grab a coffee before getting the subway nearby to JFK where I'd fly home to Manchester (sadly) after a great long stay in NYC - I called at Starbucks on 515 Madison, it is a pretty small store and it can get really busy at times and quite hard to find a seat - they could literally be gone in minutes. This store offers UberEATS and mobile orders, sadly as a UK customer, I couldn't use mobile ordering as I'm only able to use my Starbucks card to pay and acquire one star per transaction as I would back home meaning I can't enjoy and take advantage of my Gold benefits I would back home. I ordered one of my favourite Starbucks drinks at Starbucks in the US - a Venti Iced Caramel Cloud Macchiato which is made with an egg-white foam, the drink was pretty good however I would have liked a slight touch more of espresso to give it a stronger rather than sweeter taste. It isn't the most comfortable Starbucks as it is pretty narrow and the staff aren't overly friendly, the selection of merchandise also was pretty poor meaning I'd have to go into another store on my way to the subway to get souvenirs before heading home which was a little inconvenient. Pricing as with US Starbucks and NYC (both tend to be high) go hand in hand - my drink after tax came to $6.48, this would also be the price of the regular version or PSL which costs around 1.6 dollars more when converted here, compared to back home. 2* - Drink was just okay in not very comfortable surroundings and many other nearby branches just a block or two away are larger and more welcoming in size, features and service. This branch probably deserves the title of "Worst Spelling of the name Aaron", even the barista making my drink looked at confusion and laughter as she had to shout out "Salin" - now I thought "Simon" or "Alvin" couldn't get any worse!

Starbucks has not come up with something new in years during fall time so after I discovered that they had this new toasted graham latte in place, I decided to give a try almost instantaneously. Considering the calorie intake, I only had the tall cup, and asked for nonfat version as well. It was still a bit sweet to me, however I liked it a lot. The toasted flavor stayed. Would strongly recommend this latte to whoever is a big fan of cookies.

Can't live without my morning green tea!

No restroom for paying customers is unacceptable - especially as they were quite rude about it.

Nice Starbucks with seating and outlets. It's a smaller Starbucks and can get crowded with a medium sized line. I was able to work here.

This Starbucks is terribly slow. They had 3 people on staff and were out of Lemons! Save your time and go to a different location

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.

Favorite korean shaved ice spot in NYC! Very aesthetically pleasing interior with a lot of seating…read moreboth on the first and second floor, but can get very busy during peak hours. They have a wide variety of uniquely yummy Korean desserts, during my trips here most notably the Korean shaved ice. Very finely fluffy shaven ice which comes in two different sizes depending what flavor you pick (cup vs regular), each with a different topping/sauce combo. The strawberry one includes fresh strawberries and a strawberry jam drizzle that is just the right amount of sweetness--not too sweet. Also tried the ube which had mochi bits at the bottom, w/a deep flavor of ube drizzle that was yummy. This spot is pricey, which comes with the location yes, but do I think it's worth it? Yes. Would I bring friends out of town here? Yes. I've tried many many shaved ice dessert spots, and Seoul Sweets does an incredible job with the flavor combos and getting that perfectly soft, finely shaven, fluffy shaved ice (my preference: generally icy, hard shaved ice is no no imo for me) What I've Ordered Here Before: - Strawberry Shaved Ice - Ube Shaved Ice - Korean Donut Pastry

I was curious what makes ssal cakes different from typical flour. Honestly I was wondering if it…read morewould be chewy like mochi (it's not!). When I went at 7pm on a Thursday, they ran out of some of the ssal cake flavors, but luckily they still had the mugwort flavor which was the one I was aiming for. The plain cream one looks very angelic and attractive with the pale whiteness but for $1.50 more, I'd rather get a flavored version. Also I recall others saying that the plain one is a bit tasteless. The ssal cake ended up being super airy and light, even softer than a chiffon cake imo. It doesn't have oiliness, roughness, or acidity. Likewise, the cream matches the gentleness of the cake. The structure is interesting too, because the top layer of cream is thick, then a thin layer of cake, then a thin layer of cream, and a thick layer of ssal cake. When I eat it, I often get hit with the thick layer of cream on top while wishing there's more cake. Don't get me wrong, I like all components of it. I've had mugwort before but not super familiar with it. For those who've never had it before, mugwort tastes herbally and earthy kind of like the Chinese herb prunella vulgaris (?). The flavor here is strong but not in your face aggressive. I like how they dust the whole top with more mugwort powder which adds to the flavor and provides another layer of texture that's not overly dry (slightly messy tho!) I like how the mugwort is a greyish shade of green which honestly looks so chic and unique compared to other bright and colorful desserts nowadays. You can argue that the color looks dull, but I like it. My only complaints for the ssal cake are: 1) wish it came in a smaller size which would be easier to stomach (literally) and financially, 2) wish the cakes were in perfect squares. They're more rectangular without straight edges and 90 degree corners.
