The "ventanita" concept is a great idea in theory. In reality, we live in Miami where the majority of people are commuting by car. There is virtually zero parking if you ever wanted to get out to order at the window. The drive thru fits max 4 cars and you have to deal with people honking at you for blocking the main road. I ordered ahead and shortly after was notified my order was ready. After arriving 10 minutes after that prompt, my order was not ready and the barista had to make it on the spot. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to... Stopped in three times and had problems three times with my orders. Unhappy staff. Long wait. The cashier modifies the order instead of selecting a ready-made item in order to increase the amount on the receipt. They add some extra syrups and alternative milk that I didn't ask for. They don't provide a receipt, and if I hadn't scanned my application and seen the information in it, I wouldn't have noticed it. Don't go here. I went to order and waited 5 minutes, which led me to believe that the machine was broken. It was also raining so I didn't think much of it. When I got to the front window to order my drink because there is a sign that says pull up if the machine doesn't work the individual told me to go around. I was happily reversing to go back to make the order and there was someone already ordering. I went back to the window to order my drink and they said that they couldn't take my order. It is not easy to reverse or go around this exact location because it would put you out back into the street where you have to go a couple streets down to do a U-turn to turn back into the Starbucks so it would take me five minutes just to go around and get back into, the Starbucks driveway. Pretty upsetting that you can't take an order at the window. read more

It's kind of important to have a last minute coffee option before jumping on the dreadful Golden Glades Interchange. Spotting them out was a solid score to get me through traffic. There's something very comforting about that green logo. As I navigated my way into the lot, I was able to get to the drive through lane without anyone ahead of me which felt pretty great. I ordered my triple iced macchiato. Honestly, it's like my favorite drink. I was about to get the cold brew when I stuck to my gut instinct. It was made in no time and I was driving off in no time. The location is exactly what makes this location so necessary. Accessing it from lanes heading eastbound can be a bit cumbersome but it definitely beats settling for Dunkin Donuts any day of the week. read more

As someone who manages a coffee shop myself (SubCulture Coffee-Delray) I'm always understanding of the occasional service misstep. On my long commute to work, I always stop by this Starbucks since it's conveniently located near i95. My order, 99% of the time is; Venti decaf Americano, 6 raw sugars, splash of coconut milk. I always ask for the sugar to be melted (hot water or drip/whisk) and it's very hit or miss. Today I purchased the same and my first straw sip was a mouthful of raw sugar. So after drinking all of the sugar, I have an unsweetened ice coffee with a splash of milk. I didn't order that! Regardless, staff is friendly but melting the sugar should be standard practice. --- Update 6/12/2020 Order accuracy at this place is abysmal. The more words your order contains, the higher the likelihood of your order being incorrect. Management, ask your order takers to repeat the order if they're unsure??? Rather get it right the first time and take a few seconds longer completing the order then holding up 7 cars in a waiting line?? Geez man, it's not rocket science! Was also charged twice for an order that I asked for a refund, never got the refund even when the team member said they would complete it. Awesome! read more

One of the worst drive thru experiences I've ever had. I was unable to finish my order before being told to pull up. Ordered a drink and specifically asked for the drink without whipped cream, as the drink was handed to me I had to remind Nasu* (apologize for incorrect spelling). Her response was, "I know, I'm going to scoop it out." When I finally had the opportunity to finish my order, Nasu's attitude was borderline disrespectful as if I were an inconvenience. Once I finally got everything I asked for I asked if she would be able to take our Starbucks trash, the response, "we don't have a trash here!" In response I asked, "you mean to tell me there isn't a trash in the entire store?" Her response, "yeah there is, why don't you drive around and throw it away." While I love Starbucks I am beyond disappointed, I hope my experience is not the norm. read more

This review is long overdue. Starbucks really did a great job hiring all the staff here at this location. They are so friendly and nice! Never once have they messed up my order either (I've been coming here since it opened about a year or so ago). It's located sort of in a weird area and is drive through only but the service is fast which is what I look forward to when I'm running late for work (which is 99.9% of the time!). I highly recommend the strawberry açaí (add lemonade instead of the normal water). It's super sweet but so refreshing! read more

No inside - Drive through only....never seen a location like this. I grew up not too far from this place and I really wish this location was around when I was headed to college - that pick me up would been awesome and I prob would of hit Gold Status way sooner ;D I met the NICEST Starbucks employee I have ever encountered here. I forgot her name - but she was awesome. Bubbly, full of personality, polite - and extremely upbeat! I even got her name so I could call corporate and tell them how awesome she was. She really seemed to be having fun at work - which at most chain restaurants (not looking at you Chik-fil-a!) you never see the staff smiling and full of energy. Great concept and a great location. I started going to this Starbucks every morning for a week btwn 730-830a. This isn't your traditional Starbucks. It only offers a walk up window and a drive thru. It a tad bit east of the golden glades interchange so you can get you SBUX fix on the way to hit Miami traffic for your commute. In the past week, the longest I've sat in the drive thru was 10 min. And this was at 830a with 4 cars ahead of me. This place is fast. A great attribute considering the location and time. The staff gets your order right and is nice and friendly. um, DRIVE THRU. Need I say more?! I remember when the closest Starbucks in the NMB area was on Miami Gardens Dr - they changed the game with this one being on such a busy street. I always make it a point to stop by if I know I'm in for a long drive. The baristas are great here - nice, bubbly and quick! They do have a walk-up window but no inside area. My reasoning for why its not 5 stars is the location its in - its on a corner with a traffic light so turning in is sometimes a struggle as you don't want to block the road if the light is turning red. I love this location! I go almost every day before work and the staff knows me and remembers my usual order. The coffee always tastes great and the flavors of the different types of coffee are consistent. The staff is awesome! They try to get to know you and treat you in a very friendly and respectful way. The only con is that this location is only drive-thru and it gets a little packed sometimes.
