Looking for a mid-afternoon caffeine fix after crossing under I-95 eastbound, we found this Starbucks conveniently located on the right side of Route 192 just a few miles after getting to Melbourne. There were a number of cars backed up at the drive through so we decided to go inside. The space is large but surprisingly not many tables or seats inside, no line so we're able to immediately place our orders at the counter (I ordered my usual "grande non-fat, no foam latte" the staff was friendly but definitely focus on clearing out the drive-through so it took a little longer than I expected. Not sure why this place has low stars. I meet my mentee here often and they are always so willing to help me adjust my drinks because I do not like the full flavors or syrups. All the employees are just wonderful! The place is clean, bright and cheerful. Atmosphere is cozy and quiet. It's one of my favorite Starbucks! read more

I go to this Starbucks location almost every day and I'm definitely a fan. Most things about it are normal, it's clean and spacious inside, the staff is all nice, the manager is down to earth and seems to care. Most of all they seem to get my drinks right and it tastes good every time. Many other Starbucks are hit or miss with a lot of variance in how the same drink tastes. I only order from my phone and it's fast. My order is almost always waiting for me when I walk in, which is usually only a few minutes after I place the order. read more

Just a Starbucks in the Melbourne Square Mall but they do go above and beyond. Sarah made an exceptional post about the customer service at this location. You can even mobile order here if you like. Just be careful to pick the right location otherwise your drink will be waiting here and not at a nearby Starbucks drive through. I ordered while shopping in the mall on the app and my drink was ready within two minutes. Quite speedy for any Starbucks but especially a busy one by a food court like this location. Fairly spacious inside the store. Seating area although the dark shutters and decor make the store hard to read. You can always grab your drink and walk over to the food court and have a seat. Think this location is more for mall workers or shoppers to grab a drink. Not so much of a place to study or work but a great spot to grab a drink on break, while you shop, or just because you're in the area. read more

By far the worst experience ever. First of all the young lady with the clear frame eyeglasses the cashier was non typical - non attentive server. She made sure the young lady in front of me got her cake slice and the gentle who came after me got the option of keeping the plastic on his slices of cake instead of the Starbucks bag. I did not get that option, when she did take my order she didn't ask for the name on the drink. She got the order wrong because there were no two raw sugar's added to my drink and I asked for a vanilla latte yet I was surprise of the taste of Mocha down @ the light. They asked what store we worked at (my girlfriend and I were traveling and are both Starbucks partners) so when we told them we were traveling for my birthday, they both wished us a good and happy trip. So today on my way to work I got a tea refresher which I got the day before and the day before it was delicious. This is what I received today. I tried mixing it and it keeps looking clumpy like the milk was old. Who would serve this to someone?! It also tasted bad. The gentleman that made this drink was the same gentleman that yelled at me once for taking a straw when there was no sign that said don't take straws. I'm all for social distancing and making people safe but you don't need to yell at someone in front of everyone. This gentleman was also not wearing his mask correctly. This location is actually further down the street than the map shows. The crew here is very nice and usually pretty efficient. The district manager on the other hand hates the customers. After Covid, the manager removed 50% of the tables and chairs inside. It looks really sparse. This is an incredibly busy location and she removes the seats so you can't sit down. Then I went in a couple days ago and they removed more tables. It's a nice way to tell your customers they aren't wanted here. Seriously, what is the point of going to Starbucks if you can't stay at Starbucks? It's a big message that says take your business elsewhere. The Sun Shoppe is a mile down the road and they have lots of tables & chairs. They actually like and appreciate their customers. Starbucks- message loud and clear. I accidentally made an online order for this location while too far away to stop by. I called the shop and was greeted by a polite woman. I explained that I made the order for the wrong location and even though they had already made it she refunded the full amount over the phone. I was worried about my "stars" not being refunded, and she assured me that while I could not get my "stars" back, I would get the value of the drink I had ordered credited to my gift card. Perfect Starbucks right in the heart of Melbourne on 192. The only gripe I have about this location is that turning left into the complex and getting out of the complex at the traffic light is pretty frustrating (not easy to do). At first, this Starbucks location is like any other typical Starbucks coffee shop. I've visited this location multiple times. Each time, I ask a question about one of the drinks, and the barista at the cashier frowns. Multiple times have I tried ordering a fudge or strawberry shortcake granita, but there are always out. As for the typical drinks (the majority of the baristas don't know how to make the seasonal beverages), despite some drinks having too much ice when having asked for less ice, they are made just fine. Although the drinks are fine, the customer service tends to be unfriendly. Whenever I come to the store, I am ungreeted and ignored. Almost all of the baristas are frowning and don't smile much. Despite all of this, the location does have a good amount of seating, and follows the free refill policy (refill any drink with tea or coffee for $0.50). read more

I do not like most of the staff at this location. Mr Meathead behind to counter is slow, arrogant, too busy hitting on the other staff members to be working back there. I only use this one when going somewhere else is inconvenient. There have been a few ladies that work here that have a personality, but you really have to be lucky and hit it at the right time. I like the Starbucks, too polite to say it out loud so I'm going to put it into Yelp in the hopes somebody at this Starbucks will read it. The problem is the barista WHISTLING. I mean, if you like your job so much you gotta whistle while you work, PLEASE try to keep the customers in mind. I've heard the dude whistle before and he CAN carry a tune, so it's evident that right now (April 15th, 2018 at 7:30 pm) the guy is literally making a serious effort to screw up "Fly Me To The Moon" by whistling it all out of tune, doing variations on the tempo, etc. It is SERIOUSLY ANNOYING at least to two of us who are looking across the store at each other and wincing. The coffee was good but the dishonest associate left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered two grande coffees, one blonde roast one dark roast. The associate told me they would both be pour overs, I said ok. A couple moments later he told me he actually had some blonde roast and gave me my coffee. I thought it looked small but then thought maybe they changed their cups or something. Anyways, I had my cup and continued waiting for the other but continued thinking the guy gave me the wrong size. I ended up asking him about it and he said "yeah I gave you the wrong one." He proceeded to pour me a grande and that was that. I am a regular at this Starbucks and I have always had excellent service. My only observation is that often almost all of the seats are taken up by people working or studying. A couple of days ago, three tables were empty except for backpacksvand books. The people were at another table talking. I placed one of the backpacks on the floor and sat down. My point is that the shift manager should maybe set time limits or at least tell people that if they are not at their tables that they should free it up. You know, if there are 10 tables and 9 are filled by people who are using them as work desks, it frustrates customers who just want to have a coffee and spend a few minutes. I just went into this Starbucks with my two year old son. After ordering my coffee (and while trying to entertain my son), I noticed that his juice box did not have a straw. I politely asked for a stirring straw that would fit the juice box and the barista explained that sometimes they fall off in the display case. She found it, handed it to me and I said thank you. As I was leaving, the barista loudly exclaimed that it's not the kids that cause a problem, it's the parents. The other employees laughed about her inappropriate statement. Obviously this was a poor choice on her part when it comes to customer service. As a mother in a public place, I felt it was difficult enough to handle my active toddler. To have a Starbucks employee act in that manner made me feel publicly humiliated and just wasn't kind at all. I will never go back to this Starbucks again. read more
