I try repeatedly to give this location my money. They consistently make it difficult for me to want to do so. On Tuesday on our way South it was a 45 minute wait. For one drink. I kept telling myself it'll only be a couple more minutes. Then after a while I thought... I've waited this long. When we finally got the drink no apology - no acknowledgement of the wait. Nothing. Today we stopped again on our way home from SC. Another attempt. The drive through line was about 6 cars backed up so I went in instead figuring it would be faster. About 6-8 people waiting for drinks. No line to order. They estimated a 15-20 minute wait time. Seriously folks. A Starbucks. This is less busy than a normal work day at rush hour and this place can't handle it. Ever. At least today I heard the wait time before I ordered and left. Add in completely filled trash cans. Restrooms never being clean. This is a terrible location and I'm a fan of Starbucks visiting them around Raleigh NC several times a week. Starbucks Corporate needs to come fix this place!! read more

There was a sign off the highway for this Starbucks but it was impossible to find. Finally, GPS got me there with ten turns off the highway with no signage. When inside, this is the crappiest Starbucks I've ever seen. No trash can outside, trash all over the inside floors and completely full trash at the bar. Fifteen people in line, ten people in line for the bathroom, three people left while we were in line because it took too long, and it took us 15 minutes to get to the front of the line at noon on a Friday. read more

If you are in a hurry, this is not your place. I frequently visit this particular Starbucks because it is right off of I95. In the past 3 weeks this is my 3rd visit. The first time I came by myself and ordered 1 sweet cream cold brew around 10am and Understandably it was busy. I ordered after sitting in the drive thru and it took about 20 minutes from when I got in line til I recieved my drink. The 2nd time, I ordered ahead around 4pm, 2 cold brews this time. Because you can't go in and pick up, I still had to wait in line over 30 min this time from line waiting to pickup. Today was the last time and now the app has been updated to not allow order ahead, so I sat in line. This time was only 10/15 min, but there were only 2 cars ahead of us. Now, behind us were 6-8 cars. The location, being right off the interstate is super convenient but getting into the drive thru is a little messy. If there are more that 2 cars in front of you, you have to drive thru the parking lot to go around the building to line up. The building also has other businesses, one being firehouse subs. There are lots of pedestrians so make sure you're driving super slow. read more

I have a love hate relationship with Starbucks in general. However this place for now I'll give an average 3 stars. I will give it Time to improve (or not) I like to order on the go because it's convenient and I time it so that I get there in 7 minutes. More than half the time, the beverage or food order is not ready. THEN I have to ask for it and THEN that's when it's made....when I get to the store. So I tried going to the drive thru. Mind you I order the same thing everyday at any starbucks location. A venti drink. I go to the drive thru and they give me a grande. I refused the drink. Instead of them making my drink, they insisted I said grande "you said grande ma'am". The cashier was telling the other employee She said she ordered a venti. "No she said grande" *insert eye roll* I mean I'M GOING TO BE LATE MAKE MY DRINK ALREADY!!!!! with that said, I don't have a choice but take the abuse because it's the only starbucks within 30 miles. Sooo, let's start on the positive things. My wife said the coffee was good. Service was fast, but, it only required pouring coffee into a cup. Mind you, it wasn't what she wanted. We stopped in on a road trip to get her a small hot dark roast, she adds the sugar in the raw. They don't have have dark roast brewed due to there "not being a high demand". So she goes with the medium. No sugar in the raw. Regular sugar. Apparently this is a big deal. Bathrooms were horrendous. Quite honestly some of the dirtiest bathrooms I've seen. The rest of the building could use some serious attention as well, I've never seen a Starbucks look like that anywhere. Long story short. Coffee was decent, place was gross. This review was hard for me to write because I love Starbucks and an a very valuable customer. This Starbucks location is one of the worst managed locations I have ever seen. I go here there times a week and they consistently have bad attitudes, never have anything stocked, and are all grouped together in the front or working while one girl will be busting her butt making drinks. Simply things like ice coffee are out. All the various creamers are out, the food and snacks are always out. There is a line out the door and the mobile orders are never done on time and you have to ask them to do it. I would suggest that management get on this or become aware of this and do something. There should not be one person making drinks while others stand there. It is just poor management and a poor operational structure. read more

I remember I went here sometime last year, and I ordered the cinnamon crunch drink, I can't remember the actual name but I know it said something about a ribbon. It might have been my mistake but I ordered it with oat milk. Literally tasted like nothing. No sweetness or anything. My boyfriend on the other hand got a drink and his was great. I feel bad for the employees because they seem vastly understaffed. However, the customer service was awful. Drove completely out of the way on a road trip for a good cup of coffee - no problem. We first were waiting in the drive thru, then finally decided to come inside and order. There was no line inside, just a crowd of people waiting for their drinks. Not impressed. I love Starbucks, pretty much everywhere. I almost ordered on the app, but the line was short, so I went to the counter. I ordered a drink that normally comes with 3 pumps of syrup, and asked them to halve it to 1.5 pumps. I have ordered this drink 100 times. No issues. The woman at the register couldn't figure out how to do it. I told her to leave it and I would just tell the barista. Instead she got help from someone (who also didn't know how to do it) and finally they figured it out. I watched the barista make it and I saw her put 3 pumps in, despite the label saying 1.5. At this point I was just annoyed so I took it anyways. The second drink I ordered was a cold brew and I asked for room for cream. It was filled to the top, to the point it spilled over. I'll simply skip this location in the future. It does that change my high opinion of Starbucks overall, but this location needs some help, and I won't be back. read more

My Boyfriend and I went through the driveway and waited to place our order for about 4-5 minutes. No one came on the pa system to greet us so we kept moving. We got to the front and one of the girls said "i dont know where they came from but i didnt take their order" then a guy said you guys need to go back around because they have orders behind us. Dirtiest and fly infested Starbucks ever! I swear gas stations and rest stops are cleaner than this place. I simply don't understand why it's like this! It's as if no one is in charge of hourly bathroom checks and the serving area wooden panels could use a GOOD wipe down because you can see ashy coffee markings from spillages. The bathrooms smell like straight up pee (did I mention no toilet paper) and the flies are literally in the glass display case as well. I didn't think I can give a rating of 0 and would if I could. This is the filthiest Starbucks ever and unable to make basic coffee. I waited 40 minutes for an iced coffee and chai tea - along with a group if others who were so angry one woman stood at the door telling other people not to bother coming In because it was so filthy and slow. Trash was so overflowing four others waiting with me asked the manager to clean it up to which she replied they couldn't get to it. An employee went to refill cream at the condiment bar and just worked over the trash and spilt cream - never cleaning it first. Beware if you stop here that it is disgusting. I always see this location in Lumberton when I'm making my trip from Charleston, SC to Goldsboro, NC. This was the first time I actually stopped at it. They made my drink wrong. Ugh. After trying to figure out how to get into the Starbucks and their wacky designed drive thru, I got back onto the highway and then realized they made it wrong. My own fault really, for not verifying they had it right since they didn't read it back to me. The staff was kind of rude. I probably won't make my way back to this location. We did notice that 4-5 drinks were marked unavailable, one being Carmel Brielle. The barista was friendly and talk with us. My wife and I have been Starbucks customers for many years. One of the many reasons we seek out Starbucks stores where ever we are, is because they always keep their standards high and consistent, no matter what part of the country we happen to be visiting. This last weekend, we were headed to the Charleston SC region and while on the way, sought out and found a Starbucks store located in the town of Lumberton, NC. It was mid morning and we were thirsty, hungry and hoping for a nice quick stop so we could get back out on the road. We got none of the above. I asked for a black iced tea. The woman behind the counter responded like this: "Black Tea, we're flat out" I asked Really? You are out of black Tea? She responded with a "yep" and walked away. No sorry we're out, no, hey here's a rain check or a coupon for a future purchase... My wife wanted a Chai Tea Latte, that they had, but they added sugar, (she had requested none), so neither of us was happy. Luckily, there was a sub shop located right next door that did have black iced tea and my wife got us some food, so we then felt a little better. My experiences with Starbucks all over the country have always been positive, until last week, when we walked into this one. It makes me wonder if their training techniques are slipping or if they just have a bad hiring manager down there. Have not been back to any Starbucks yet...we'll see what happens. read more

This is a pretty new franchise in town. They had a few growing pains, starting out, but they seem to be coming along with their customer service. But it is a pretty small Starbuck stores, so if the parking lot is full, expect a fairly long wait. One negative though -their wifi is SLOWER THAN DIAL-UP.
