The atmosphere is quiet but also bright and enlivening, aiding in productivity without being overly distracting. I love the setup of the cafe with comfy couches and chairs for lounging sprinkled among typical tables and benches for working or having a meal! Also, they have a free chess board for playing with friends over coffee which really speaks to the relaxed communal vibe of the place. Overall, I loved the energy, but I didn't expect to also love the matcha as much as I did. Being that it's not something they're known for and the drink was on the cheaper side compared to other matchas, it was actually incredibly smooth and creamy (just pretty sweet so be prepared). Only other negative I could mention is that service wasn't overly friendly, but otherwise, it wasn't terrible either- it was quick and helpful, so I definitely enjoyed my stop here and look forward to returning to try their other menu items!

I'm completely appalled and will absolutely not be going back after this experience.
