Ive always had pleasant costumer service , this Starbucks is literally the only one I've had a issue with. Ordering through the drive through window ... In which I was trying to get my teenage daughters crazy order together, the employee kept interrupting me and saying "what size? What size" then she would repeat "hot or cold? Hot or cold" In which was throwing off my instructions to my order in which I planed to answer those questions at the end ... made me feel like dummy. Nowadays, I don't expect a whole lot from a Starbucks. My recent visit to this location however was an experience that was much like "the good old days" of Starbucks when customer service was paramount and drinks were well made. The store attendants and baristas at this location provided exceptional customer service. Shoutout to the amazing Tanane and Mun. It's been years since I have experienced such friendly and efficient customer service from a Starbucks like these two delivered. Fire this idiot!! Every time we go to the Starbucks early in the morning, there's an older gentleman with white hair and a white beard that works the window. He always has rude comments to say and is rude! This morning his smart response when we asked for straws was "NO SAVE THE TURTLES DUDE!" Then he reached for straws, gave it to us and walked away. Maybe if Starbucks stirred our drinks or provided paper straws we would love to save the turtles. This isn't the customers fault but they need to get rid of this guy because he's always in a bad mood and obviously hates his job/life and giving Starbucks a bad name. We came on a weekday around 1 pm. The place was not busy. PROS: Customer service was great, coffee was coffee, drinks were expedited pretty fast. CONS: Floor was filthy and needed desperately to be swept, some tables were not wiped cleaned, trash bins were overflowing, napkin holders were empty. When walking around Downtown Summerlin, my hubby and I were quite thirsty thus we decided to find the Starbucks in Macys. It is located in the men's department. When we entered we were greeted by the workers with a friendly smile. We immediately ordered since we got out go to drink Brown Sugar Oat milk latte! It is so delicious. I conveyed to the worker that I wanted to redeem my birthday drink and she gladly made a change to my total. Upon waiting, I noticed they have a bathroom and several tables to drink or eat a small snack. When we got our drinks, we told the workers thank you and they all wished me a happy birthday! It was quite sweet and such an amazing surprise to see on my drink! I would visit this location again if I was in Downtown Summerlin doing some shopping :) read more

I was on my way to a work event and I drove by this Starbucks location in Summerlin. What I especially liked is that there's a drive-through but also plenty of parking in the area since I decided to pick up my drinks inside. With all Starbucks it's good to keep in mind that there's probably some sort of morning pre-work rush so orders take some time to get done. The most convenient option for me to is to make a mobile order so my drink is waiting for me. Make sure to utilize a mobile app to be able to order through there or take advantage of the different promos they have. The team here was very accommodating. Just be patient with the team if there are a lot of guests ordering things. I used the drive thur and had to ask for a stopped that didn't work because she didn't put the cap on correctly, only to find out that she somehow overfilled the cup with scolding hot coffee. I BURNED MY HANDS AND MY MOUTH trying to contain the situation, after it spilled all over the middle console of my car. She didn't give me a bag OR drink holders with any of theres items. I didn't know this Starbucks existed until driving by on my way to the Summerlin Library. I had to go to the Summerlin post office so I made this a stop on my way home. I ordered on the app my normal iced quad espresso. I parked at one of the reserved, 5 minute maximum spaces, and went in to get my drink. After waiting a bit, a barista asked me if I had a mobile order and I gave her ny name. There was no record of the order. Then I noticed I checked a different Starbucks on Town Center Drive. She made me my drink quickly and I was on my way. Thanks for getting my order ready for me even though I was about 2 miles away! Parking is great! The store is large and has a lot of space to sit and chat or work with your elctronic device. The only drawback is the u-turn to get in and the side way out to get back on TC going south. Now that I know it's here, I'll be stopping more often even though it's not my normal area of Summerlin. read more

So anybody that knows me knows well that I am more "support the little guy" versus "support the large corporate giant," but damn it if I find myself writing a 5-Star Yelp review for like the biggest of the biggest corporate giants. I hate you Starbucks for making me write a 5 Star Yelp review for you! So if you are familiar with this upscale area of Summerlin, you will know at this location south of Summerlin Parkway and Town Center, there is a serious void of coffee options amongst the call centers and businesses and hospital and medical offices.. You either have to settle for gas station coffee or venture only a bit further north on Town Center (to another Starbucks or Einsteins, LOL!), but this busy, heavily trafficked location....a coffee dead zone. Well, that was until last Friday it appears. I was at a stop light at this location around 2PM today when I was literally thinking I would give my left leg for a cup of coffee when like a mirage in the desert, this Starbucks location appeared. Again, not my first choice, but like right there at this convenient location (wedged between Burger King and Lola's). The parking lot was empty. The beautiful new drive thru void of people. A large outdoor covered patio just waiting to be enjoyed. Was I dreaming? And damn the corporate giant.... I walk in and although there is barely anyone there because nobody actually knows they are there yet, the staff is like super sweet, incredibly welcoming, not to mention like cheetah fast to make my super delicious Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte. Really? Are you kidding me with this holiday drink...it is like a caffeine Christmas party in my mouth and like wickedly special. And there is so much space in this location I could probably do a double back hand spring and stick the landing and never hit a single coffee drinking soul (for the record, I can barely do a cartwheel). So damn you Starbucks, I want to hate you, but I am an honest Yelper and this experience today was exceptional, from customer service to quality beverage. I've been coming to this Starbucks for years every single morning. This morning the person in the window helping me with my payment took the machine and tipped himself the highest amount possible which was $2 on a $3 coffee. Normally I tip every time anyways, but tipping himself over 60% on one coffee without my consent made me feel so disrespected. I will never return to this location. Please get rid of the guy working 7:45am in the window on Wednesday before he steals other peoples money to put in his pocket. I'm considering contacting my credit card company because this is quite literally unlawful and so insanely rude especially for someone like me who has always been more than happy to tip you guys... I feel so disrespected by this. Update: after calling, the staff member said no manger was available and that she could take a note for me. I explained the situation and I was hoping for some sort of explanation or apology so I could continue enjoying my morning spot that I've had for years now. Instead, she met me with hostility and originally tried to tell me it's not possible to give over 60% tip on the card reader. I explained to her how I could quite literally show her on her card reader that a $2 tip IS an option and we could review my card statement along with what I ordered if she would like me to come in and do so. She then backtracked and said it was probably just the card reader being sensitive. I explained to her how I literally watched him directly hit the $2 tip button, which is not even close to the one he would be authorized to press when doing the entire transaction himself, and not even offering me to do it myself. She again brushed it off as a card reader error and offered no apology whatsoever and it felt like she tried to just rush me off the phone. Basically, this employee dismissed these unlawful actions of their employee and even tried to lie about them. Unfortunately I do have evidence of this so I will absolutely be contacting my credit card company and also filing a complaint about this behavior. $2 is $2, however the premise of trying to sneak one on me and then being dismissed about it and absurd. It's less about the dollar amount and more about the level of disrespect I felt for this employee stealing from me and their co worker acting so rude and hostile about it. Do better Starbucks. I have spent thousands at this location and have given hundreds as tips. Disappointing. read more

The service is good besides this one gentleman who was making the drinks today. Straight black hair with a nose ring. I asked for him to remake my drink because it wasn't correct and he argued with me stating it is correct and decided to walk to the back instead of getting my order correct. I'm not sure what the issue is at this location but it's brand new and close by the office so I love it for that. However, I find myself constantly getting stuck because of the long waits here. Starbucks is usually great at turning around orders but something about this location has not quite figured it out yet. I spent 30 minutes in the drive thru once and only 2 cars were in front of me.
