This directly contradicts what I had previously been told. When I raised this concern, another staff member confirmed the possibility of contamination but responded in a manner that felt dismissive and unprofessional. While I did receive a general apology, there was no clear clarification about when or why the information had changed. This inconsistency is extremely concerning. Food allergies are serious and can be life-threatening. Clear, accurate, and consistent communication is critical so that customers can make safe decisions.
