This location is extremely busy and the parking lot is inconvenient because it backs up, people wait to turn into the parking lot and it's hard to park or leave when parked. Inside it's sometimes tough to find a place to sit so I wouldn't plan to use this as a reliable working spot. It's too small inside for the level of popularity. However, the good thing is that this is one of the more reliable locations when it comes to drink consistency. I haven't had a single issue with a drink tasting bad, not full, or wrong order - which happens 50% of the time elsewhere. I know what you're thinking- a review of a chain?!? who cares! Well- I was shocked to see the low rating for this Starbucks, so here I am. Just moved to the area & this is now my new home store. These barista's are straight up drink making angels. Everything I have ordered has been perfectly made. They are also always cheerful (yes, even with a giant line of cars) and nice. Like other reviews have stated, the line gets LONG. If you have the Starbucks app (it's 2020, please for the love of god download the app), order ahead. It will make your life AND their lives easier. I will still always drive thru because this parking lot would be a nightmare if you tried to park & get out. You would seemingly always be blocked by the long line. read more

Moved to lake Zurich from Glenview and I was sad to leave my baristas in Glenview but I was fortunate to find a new set of really kind and amazing customer service at this location. They really are wonderful and they remember my order and my name. They make my morning better EXCEPT ... ugh there's this new employee I don't know her name. She is a dear really... but I wish they'd get her off the morning speaker. She is so .. annoying... "what can I get for you toDAAAAAAAAY" omg it makes my blood boil I don't mean to be an a hole but just speak normally for the love of coffee! Speak normally. My guess is that she was trained by Jack one of the other very awesome barista's and he has his own little style when he's taking everyone's order I think that she's just trying to find her voice, but it really is so much better for her to just be herself instead of being so obnoxious again when she speaks normally to people, she really is such a nice lady, but I cringe every time I hear her voice over the loudspeaker. aside from that my coffee is always amazing fresh and everyone goes out of their way to perfect your day. read more

I have being going to different Starbucks and I was frustrate with the different staff that took my orders. One even call me rude when I asked her why she put the sugar on the coffee and did not put the cinnamon powder that I asked. She did everything backwards. (Chicago location). When Alana took my order she was so polite and very ongoing. By the third time that I went to this location she knew my order. I was impress. Alana's customer service is excellent. Coffee is always bitter not made fresh. They hold onto the coffee too long. They need to taste the coffee each batch to make sure it is a temperature and served hot, freshly brewed inconsistent bad coffee. read more

Very busy drive-thru. I ran inside for our drinks, although service inside was super slow, too. My cappuccino wasn't perfect (so little foam...) but it still tasted good, and I didn't want to bother them asking for more foam since they were so busy. On the days when I'm already exhausted and I haven't even made it to work yet, swinging into Starbucks is a must. Sometimes the drive-thru line here gets a little long which is irritating when I'm trying to get to work, but the baristas do a good job of getting my order quickly. I highly recommend getting a Starbucks gift card and registering it online so you receive a free birthday deals and other specials throughout the year. This Starbucks is EVERYTHING! I used to go to the one further north on Rand, but that one is really lacking in many ways. This location has amazing staff, they are smart and sharp and make a damn good drink! Did I mention they are sweet? I go the extra 10 minute drive to this location now and have no regrets. A great Starbucks location! I have never been inside, I have only used the drive thru, but it has always moved quickly and provided me with great service. Last time I was here, I ordered the Cool Lime Refresher. I am a sucker for new products. It was not very good. I had a couple sips and then chucked it. It was much too sweet. My friend ordered the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. I tried hers and it was much better than mine, but still not something I would order in the future. read more

This has become my go-to Starbucks on the way to my mom's. The drive thru lines can get long nearly any time of day. If you're like me and getting a single simple coffee, it can be a bit frustrating to be stuck behind a giant SUV-driving soccer mom with a laundry list of specially ordered frappuccinos. I mean, not to hate here, but if you see a line o' cars, it may be better to hoof it inside. I've been in the drive thru twice before and have had my drink comped for me: once for a REALLY long line, and once when I actually had to go back inside because they forgot to add the soy to my drink. Of course I would never ask for such a thing: they just did it and were extremely friendly and apologetic for delays. They staff is VERY friendly and VERY thorough: when I ask for ___ number of sugars in my coffee, they ask if I want Sugar in the Raw or regular granulated. Awe-some! Having worked customer service myself, I know how tough it can be to maintain that smile when customers are a bit over-the top or the workload gets extremely stressful. so it's Sunday morning and I head over to my local Dunkin' Donuts to grab a breakfast sandwich and a couple donuts. I place my order and head up to the window and drive through. While I'm waiting for my order to be completed I hear a worker out of you say that they have to go blow their nose. They come into view and walk to the end of the counter and proceeded to blow their nose and immediately start working on blended drinks and scooping ice cream out of the freezer. I asked the person that is taking care of me at the window if they are a manager and they say yes is there a problem? And I proceeded to tell them about what I've just seen and he acts like he could care less . He doesn't ask the worker to stop with he is doing immediately bor does the potentially contaminated product get thrown away. I am mediately asked for a refund and left without my purchase. I do not recommend due to hygiene issues that could lead to illness. read more

Love this Starbucks! They always make the drinks perfectly and the staff is well trained. Drive thru can be hit or miss, taking up to ten minutes when it's really busy. But the drinks made here are the best so I love this location. read more

The 1 star is for the number of times this location has made my drink correctly. I usually go to the other stand alone Starbucks in LZ. Never had a problem there. However, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go to this location my drink is wrong. Once I actually sat at the drive thru window for 15 minutes and was given 3 different drinks. My drink is on the menu and I do not alter it. It's the same thing every time yet they can't seem to get it right. And do you think they offered me a free drink card?!! Nope! Just a "oops, sorry". Smh. Very disappointing experience today. First they completely forgot our order as we stood and waited. Then they made the drinks incorrectly. Then they made them the second time incorrectly and we had to go back inside and request them to be corrected. We understand mistakes can happen but we had no apology provided and generally they were just irritated to have to deal with this situation. read more

honestly, I don't drink Coffee. I make it to a starbucks once in a blue moon because of the smoothies. Last sunday, I was searching for homes in the lake zurich area. I was not familar with this area as I live a bit south. I found my perfect home right across the street from this Starbucks and stopped immediate with my realtor to make an offer. My GF and I got a few smoothies and we sat down to fill out a contract. We were in a rush, as the contract was unexpected and I had a friend's son's birthday party to go to in Oswego. In the rush, my girlfriend left her iPhone 5 in the bathroom. Either one of the customers or employees found it. Unfortunately the phone was locked though so they couldn't try calling people on her recents. We didn't realize she lost her phone until we left the B-day party. Once we knew, panic set in. We looked everywhere. Wound up calling the Starbucks and they miraculously found it, it was in good condition, and waiting for us to pick up. We got there and I offered to buy everyone pizza or dinner, and they all refused. They just said they were glad they could help us find it. Genuine service like that should be applauded. iPhone 5s can go for hundreds on the "black market", and any one of them could've kept it.
