This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Starbucks. The store was absolutely filthy inside, which should've been my first red flag. But the real issue was the incredibly rude service.
I travel for work and always have to get my food tax exempt. I have all the paperwork, and I know it's something that can be done with a simple button at the register. When I told the barista, that I was going to need her to do tax exempt she snapped back with the nastiest tone "You're gonna need me to what??!" She wasn't just confused which could have been somewhat understandable, she was dismissive, unprofessional, and had zero interest in even trying to figure it out.
When I asked for a manager, she said she was the shift lead, but still refused to make any effort to figure it out. It's one thing to not know how to do something, but to treat a customer with that kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. I understand that tax exempt is kind of annoying but it's not that weird. Also all places do tax exempt and I know for a fact starbucks does it because I've had no issues a other starbucks locations.
Between the filthy store and the rude, unhelpful staff, this location was a complete embarrassment to the Starbucks brand. read more
