The lady that took my order also made my water. She was super friendly. I get two pumps of hazelnut for a Venti and it was plenty of flavor and just right on the sweetness. I came in today and tried using a visa gift card and it wouldn't work. Almost all the workers couldn't find a way to make it work until this very generous, sweet, and really pretty worker said she would just pay for my order. This location is conveniently located near the interstate for travelers. I live close by, so I love this location and like to stop by on my way to work. The staff is incredibly friendly and my order has always been perfect! Sometimes I see the same staff, so over time I've started to get to know some of them which is a real treat. Besides that, this place is ALWAYS so packed, as you can see from my image. 100% of the parking lot was full, so people parked on the side street by the grass. This Starbucks was right off the highway so I stopped to get a caffeine pick-me-up for the last leg of my roadtrip. What I thought would be a quick 5-10 minute stop took 25 minutes! Waited long in line to place our coffee orders then to use the bathroom. The wait to place our order was about 10 minutes. And the bathroom line was a out 5 minute wait. Which was a nice change up. Lol The store itself was nice and clean along with the bathrooms. And the workers were very friendly. Parking can be a little hard to find if you don't plan on going through the drive through. Very bed service. My first and lest visit it this location. On my way back to I'll I went to this location to get some boost. I requested iced coffee with one pump of vanilla and lite bit of cream. What I got is full cream and sweet as hell coffee which I was not able to drink. Even the striker is clear how much sweeten and cream the server supposed add to the coffee. It looks like this location wants to get customers money and don't have time to train its employees to pay attention what was ordered. It made a super convenient breakfast stop on our way out of town after spending the night. For 8am, they were busy but not crazily so. Our drinks came up fairly promptly, but although I absolutely love their new sous vide egg bites (and you know sous vide is so not cutting edge anymore if it's at Starbucks!), they take for-ev-er. Since you only get two per order, the husband and I usually get at least two orders, which means a lot of standing around waiting for employees to (1) figure out that there's an order they need to fill and (2) actually switch things in and out of their little oven to get them ready. They are worth the wait, but it can get a little aggravating. As Starbucks go, this one was neither great nor terrible -- totally fine. read more

It's sad a popular chain must keep raising prices without any changes in ingredient quality while ensuring they hardly pay any taxes, c'mon Starbucks you're making billions! Stop hiding it offshore! Also, sugar content - 35g of sugar in the typical small frappe, stupid amount considering Starbucks likes to portray itself as an environmentally responsible, socially in touch, and politically correct corporation. That moral appeal falls apart considering many respected health associations recommend a day's intake of sugar be under half the sugar found in a 16oz Frappuccino. I'd argue that being able to drop $7.50 on one drink better get me organic/raw blend of proper spices/flavors, coffee/tea, sweetener options like honey, agave, stevia, and raw cane sugar, minimal added sugars/sodium, and absolutely zero artificial flavors (like vanillin). I'm no crazy vegan nor do I watch my diet real close. I am saying these (McDonald's) ingredients should cost $2.00 not double that. read more

Wow. Talk about a terrible experience. Starbucks app showed this location was offering in-store pick-up. I'm not from around here and ordered in-store pick-up before arriving. Came to this location to find it's drive through only. Tons of other customers made the same mistake I did. We all parked our cars to find a sign on the door which showed drive through only. I had already ordered on the app so I had no choice to get in the drive through line. It took 45 minutes to get a coffee. Totally unacceptable. I even called the store to ask if I could just run in to grab my coffee. The kid on the phone said "he wasn't authorized to do that". I explained the situation with the app and he said he couldn't change that. There's plenty of other stores offering in-store pick up. Good stopping point between Chicago and Bloomington. Being almost directly off I-65 it is an incredibly convenient spot to load up on some caffeinated goodness and snackage. Service is on par with most other Starbucks, it's clean and inviting too. There is also a field nearby if you've got some four-legged friends riding with you which need to stretch their legs or use the loo. The only real issue I can think of at this particular SBUX is the parking lot... it could definitely be bigger or have a better layout to accommodate all the people coming off the highway for their fix. read more

The good: It's right off 65 and 26, making it a logical stop heading to or from Indianapolis. It was easy enough to get to from the highway. The bad: The four baristas working seemed really busy wearing green aprons and standing around. I waited ten minutes for my drink and I was the only one who had ordered or was waiting for something. Wait, no. Not true. The barista who came in for a frappuccino before her shift got her drink before I did, though she ordered after me. Two baristas asked me what I was waiting on (city slicker loitering near the counter! Danger!) but still dawdled picking up the marked cup or making the drink. I'd skip this one next time. You all need to do something about that parking lot which is extremely congested on the weekends. We were involved in a fender bender because the parking lot had people parking just along the perimeter of the property as other patrons made their way through the drive through lane with almost no lighting. How about taking some profits from those over priced lattes and making a run over to Home Depot or calling corporate and getting a barista to manage the overflow? I called and spoke to the store and district manager and they apologized and said they would send a gift card but that check is still in the mail. Gotta say they crank out the coffees at this locale but need a Grande Training on managing the espresso traffic and please do something about the lack of lighting.
