Really this review is just to comment on the staff. My husband and I went here separate times, and both times, they argued with us. My experience was in ordering a caramel macchiato upside down. The guy ringing me up replied, "so, a latte." Never have I had someone at Starbucks say that to me. It was weird and truly, I didn't know how to respond as I'm not a barista. I've ordered this drink probably a hundred times and never received any flack for it. My husband tried to order an iced cappuccino and was told they couldn't make that. Starbucks isn't my favorite place to get coffee. I'm one of the many people who thinks the chain over roasts its beans. And I also find that the reliance on automated espresso technology has resulted in poor espresso drinks across the board. I'm not even convinced Starbucks is in the business of selling coffee. I'm starting to think they make money by selling coffee flavored milkshakes in summer. And coffee flavored hot chocolate in the winter. Mostly, it's candy in a cup. HOWEVER, now that the national coffee maker has rolled out its Cold Brew iced coffee program around the country, I'm singing a different song. Yes, they still use beans that are too deeply roasted. But even still, the cold brew extraction method produces a better iced coffee than anything else I could find in the Bedford, Johnstown, Altoona triangle. If I'm missing something, please let me know. But I'll be grabbing my iced coffee here when I'm visiting during the summer. And when I'm in town over the winter, this will be where I get my blonde roast fix. read more

Starbucks - what do you expect? Predictability - on que. our drinks were spot on. Cleanliness - not here. I have been going to this Starbucks since they opened. I have watched it over the years go down hill. The blinds are dusty - now more like dirty. My sister and I were there 2 days ago, mid afternoon, only a few tables occupied. Our order came to the delivery station, which was not cleaned off, disgusting. We had a good choice of tables, but one by one we opted out, as none had been cleaned off. By the looks of them, they may not have been cleaned off all day. We choose the least offensive and placed napkins around like placemats. The store looks dirty, dingy, just beaten. It's time for them to deep CLEAN, or redecorate, remodel, change the lighting or whatever they have to do to make it more welcoming. They have finally lost my business. There are better 'home grown' local coffee shops that are pleasant, clean, and updated. read more

I love Starbucks but this one is the worst. I come here for the summer from Florida every year and don't experience the "country club/ jr. high" atmosphere down there. I could tell you much gossip about many customers that I don't even know due to what is said as soon as they walk out the door by the employees behind the counter led by the gray haired pony tailed wonder who's right in the middle of it. Some customers receive friendly service while others don't even get a thank you or eye contact when picking up their drink. Thank god summer is over and I now return to civilization. Think the people on st. Armands circle are stuck up? Come visit this place. Do yourself a favor and go to sheetz and save yourself money and the back bitting. read more

Third time I have been here in the last few weeks and they have yet to get a simple order correct even after repeating it to them. It is not one single person but all of them. Seems the way to order is online as the customer waiting in line is relegated to the side. read more

Great place for coffee! An excellent selection of drinks--even soy milk for us hipsters. Very friendly staff. Its very calm and serene there, gets kinda loud when its busy...but if you're doing stuff on your computer they have fantastic internet connect and its a nice place to lounge with good cup of coffee and a good book. read more

I frequent this location on a regular basis so Im a little more than pissed at what they did to me yesterday. I wear a mask when I'm able to but when I walked into Starbucks yesterday, the door behind me wasn't even closed before an employee yells across the counter, "do you have a mask?". I said i can't put one one - holding up my right arm that is CLEARLY in a cast from my fingers to my underarm. She says I need one but I can just cover my face to order. Ok?? So when I get to the counter I said, "im going to have to move my other hand away from my face to pay you." She says, "thats ok, just pay quickly and then you can wait outside." What?? I have to wait OUTSIDE to get my drinks?? Are you kidding me?! She says masks are required. So I'm clearly being DISCRIMINATED against because I don't have a mask on?! WTF?!?! Someone needs to educate this freaking idiot because its been clearly stated in the "mandate" that people with medical reasons do NOT have to wear masks if they are unable to do so. HELLO?!?! I cant get my hand to my face!!!! And you want to humiliate me by making me stand OUTSIDE to wait for my drinks?!?! I haven't decided yet if I'm contacting my attorney because THIS is beyond infuriating and clearly discrimination!! You just lost my business and I will be making sure everyone I know hears about this!!! read more

I love this particular Starbucks. I've lived in bigger cities and usually the Starbucks in those towns are just quick and convenient but this particular store is literally the best I've been to. Everyday we go in and they already know what we want, they know our names, they make the drinks very well. The manager Vince is so nice and his employees are always the same. It's a small town Starbucks but it is the best one I've ever been to. read more
