I should of listened when my GPS was trying to take me to a different Starbucks - but I knew this one was here, so I figured might as well stop in. Walked into the smallest Starbucks ever- unless there's hidden seating in the back I count 16 chairs and 3 at the "bar".... at 130 in the afternoon there was apparent confusion behind the counter like 6 employees back there, yelling/hollering, no one could figure out what another order was, not to mention I just stood there waiting for them to take my order. They also did not have a single hot sandwich I asked for, which is extremely irritating. I will drive the extra 5 mins next time and go elsewhere this one just rubbed me the wrong way today. read more

I just walked out of this local Starbucks - recently moved into area - I asked for a gift receipt with gift card and was assured I would get one. At the end of the transaction the " supervisor " at the cash register told me that she can't print one- when I told her I have done this multiple times at various locations she mumbled and rolled her eyes - I told her not to treat me as if I'm stupid and talk down to me because I have given many gift cards from Starbucks in the past . When I asked for supervisor she said she is it then the coworker chimes in to yell at me that gift cards do not get gift receipts . When I told her to mind her business she told me to shut the "f*#% " twice !! Never ever will I step in this store again read more

I prefer this location even though I live two towns away because it always has seating when I come and the service is great. The baristas are always friendly and the atmosphere is less crowded than the Syosset locations. I've been here for dates and meeting friends great spot to chat and be heard! read more

Not gonna lie, I am sometimes picky with my Starbucks locations. Whenever I come grocery shopping at Whole Foods, I pop into this Starbies for a quick coffee break. Its usually on the busier side--especially on Sundays. The staff here is excellent. Everyone greets me with a smile, and is always polite. The cafe itself it always clean, and is super spacious. I usually order the same drink every time, a Grande Hot Latte, and this Starbucks never disappoints! I like my coffee very hot, and sometimes I get lukewarm coffee. They also have a good selection of bakery items/food options. Starbucks has a new "dessert box" which can fit up to 8 larger bakery items. I have brought a few of the cinnamon rolls, and holiday cookies to events, and people love them every time. This spot is defiantly one of my favorite Starbucks'. Parking gets packed if Whole Foods is busy, so sometimes a mobile order is convenient for you to run in and out quickly. read more

STAFF gets CRANKY before closing. I totally understand your grief. BUT try to be a little nicer and more professional . Staff also needs to SIMMER DOWN when friends drop by. The BIGGEST STARBUCKS on the planet. Always get a seat on Friday & Saturday nights!!!!!!! I dare you to try that at ANY other Starbucks on Long Island .....only ONE little restroom though! F**K YOU. 4) PLAINVIEW. Way too small. Ditto Jericho & Woodbury problems. Cramped. Associates here usually have attitude . (*NOTE: as both these locations pretty much suck- They both have OUTDOOR seating in nice weather making it easier to get a seat. This seating "plus" saves BOTH from the SH*T list below ) 4a) JERICHO. The MALE workers get TOO LOUD & CHATTY in there. TOO many friends dropping by. Shut the F up and get back to work. The lady workers are usually quiet however. Night staff is cranky--especially a hour before they close.I know you want to go home but TOO BAD. You're open for business at 8:45 PM-- DEAL WITH IT and be professional. Lady manager had SERIOUS bad attitude on our last visit. POOR / SH*TTY ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) SYOSSET. Guess what? Not a fan of this starbucks. I ordered a drink, with soy. When I noticed the barista making it in the cup labeled dairy I inquired to see if she could please make it in a non-dairy labeled cup and she told me "It actually doesn't matter, they're the same." Umm, excuse me, if I'm paying $4.5+ for a glorified cup of cup of coffee. I asked her nicely and I know that it's a Starbucks policy to use the properly labeled cups. As a law student, I'm always looking for places to study where there are few distractions and the coffee is plentiful. In light of the recent "Starbucks War on Laptop Hobos" that I've read about, I'm pretty thankful that, as a laptop hobo, I can buy my one tall vanilla latte at 10AM and then study at a table in this Starbucks until 6 or 7PM. I bring my books and laptop, use the wifi, and the only occasional interruptions I've had are by other coffee consumers exchanging pleasantries with me. read more

They move through customers fast here, and that's usually great, but they burned the espresso I ordered to an awful mess. And more than the waste of money on completely undrinkable coffee, one barista actually corrected me when I asked for a double macchiato. "A doppio macchiato?" Sorry to say this was one of the most disappointing Starbucks locations I've ever been to. The line wasn't long. The barista kept on walking around while taking my order so of course he got it wrong. When I tried to get my drink fixed, I couldn't get anyone's attention so I finally just gave up. In high school I use to work at a Starbucks. It's always my go-to coffee spot. There's one Barista here who always manages to annoy me. She mostly works the cash register, probably because she's not trusted to make any drinks. She's very slow at the checkout, always asks several times what I ordered, and swipes my card wrong. However, everybody else is great. My drinks are always perfect. read more

I visit Starbucks almost everyday. Today was the worst experience I have ever had in a Starbucks. The staff was completely disorganized. I waited 30 minutes for my drink and it was the wrong order. I explained to the staff and they did nothing to fix the problem. I threw the coffee away and walked out. Very disappointed. read more

I've been to various other Starbucks locations in the area, and even to this location more than a handful of times. In general, it's ok. The last two times I visited, I noticed some staff were rude to each other, and I also noticed customers being rude to the staff as well. It might have been a couple of bad days, and I hope that it's not a trend, because the staff work hard and quickly complete orders. read more

Service overall has improved. I often get smiles and friendly baristas. I would give this place more stars if it weren't for the male barista with the beard. He has a chip on his shoulder and often asks you the same question 2-3 times. And if he makes a mistake, he cops an attitude like it's your fault. Starbucks should re-train him or have him work in a different location. Don't come to Jericho and cop an attitude. If I'm polite to you then you should be polite in return. Love this Starbucks! Very personal staff. One time I walked in unsure of a drink to get and they let me try a sample so I made the right choice. Another time, I saw next two two little girls and a grandfather that personal knew the staff due to visiting so much and the staff members interacted with the kids and the sweetest way. Drinks are always great, but the staff manages to disappoint over and over. One time, a barista played "Hotel California" on his phone, on repeat, and we left. Loud swearing and gossip is common. Not a great atmosphere. read more

Amazing staff!! I am there every morning and the staff is cheerful and friendly. They are extremely efficient and work well together. I am in and out quickly whereas I can wait for 10 minutes at other locations. I live closer to the Roslyn Starbucks as well as both Westbury Starbucks and travel to Jericho daily. They are the only store which makes my Mocha Frap with the same consistency. You would think that every store follows the same recipe but this is not true. Not sure what Roslyn does, but the Mocha Fraps are horrible there. The owner of this Jericho location is lucky to have this staff!! read more

All the girls that helped us were so sweet and friendly and then a girl walked in with long brown hair in an orange tshirt and started scolding another employee for not opening the back door for her. It was so unprofessional and very awkward for myself and the other customers. The other girls just tried politely smiling it off. Then the girl walked back out, put her purse on the counter and proceeded to tell some story about how someone was an f****** b**** and my mouth dropped. I was shocked she was talking like that in front of customers. I tried to smile at her because hopefully this was a one time thing and she was having a bad day (but I doubt it). She gave me a very nasty look back and continued cursing in front of customers. One of the girls made a comment about her cursing and she said she wasn't on the clock. I don't expect all Starbucks' employees to be excellent at customer service but this girl came in like a bad attitude tornado. I own a business and you never curse in front of customers. This girl should not be in customer service and Starbucks deserves to know when their brand is being tarnished. That being said I normally love this location and the other girls (who were on the clock Friday at 7) were so nice and helpful. read more
