When I expressed my dissatisfication, Dennis, dude claiming that this was his store. When I said I'd like a complaint with corporate as well, he then said, "let's step into the parking lot". When I called him on his threat of physical violence, he said he then blamed my accent. When my ordered arrived, it was extra heated instead of unheated. He blamed my accent again. I sat for a few hours to work on my laptop at this busy location, on a Tuesday afternoon. With my long stay, I was able to observe the establishment. Imagine a cozy, warm space that is the "corner coffee shop," where noise levels are just right, the atmosphere is zen-like calm, and time spent turns into eternity. Instead, this location was 360° opposite--a nightmarish scenario for what Starbucks could become. To be clear, my drink was formulated fine; it was everything else. Distracting upbeat music. Overstaffed workers doing nothing and joking/laughing loudly. Hard, uncomfortable chairs. A/C programmed to the "Artic." Soulless interior design. Your typical Starbucks. I was here while waiting for friends to fly into IDA and spent a few good hours in here. It was a Thursday and the place had a consistent number of people coming in and out but it never got super packed. The workers were friendly and didn't bother me and my friend even though we were camped here. They didn't mess up my order, nor did they mess up my friend's drink. And as always, there's free WiFi with good connection. I'm used to Starbucks being open super late in Houston so when this place closed down at 9 pm, that was kind of a surprise. I have been coming here everyday for two weeks straight as this is our last stop before heading off to work. There has only been a time or two that we had to wait, and each of those times was due to mindless customers. Every morning we are greeted with smiles and a warm hello, even when they have been busy. I do agree with one thing the previous reviewer posted about, and that is the drive thru. We don't use it since our vehicles are far too large, but I have noticed that if you drive a large pickup, it tends to not be the best suited driveway. I think a left handed turn would have been better. We have never had bad service or bad coffee. read more

We've been here the past three days (as apparently coffee at boot camp is only a privilege... Gotta get my fix). We have gotten just awesome service! We wanted to try something new and Diego (who was helping us) brought us both samples of their coconut milk, which we loved. So, we got two drinks with coconut milk. It was suggested to try just a coconut latte, which I did, but I honestly thought it needed more flavor! So, they added some toffee nut into my drink and it was much better! The level of customer service we received was excellent. Our drinks were made right and tasted amazing. I wish I could have caught the name of the bubbly brunette working on Thursday night. We visited this Starbucks yesterday around 1:00 pm and found that it definitely pays to use the drive thru. It takes about 30 minutes to get a coffee if you walk in but customers are not made to wait if they drive up. They have different staff designated for inside customers and the drive thru window, which seems like it might work well. However, nobody should have to wait that long for a coffee. They seem to pay some people to stand around while one person is working furiously making coffees to order. (The coffee was perfect, by the way). I watched the poor barista make only 7 coffee drinks for the angry inside customers who were all standing around shaking their heads, and in that time, 11 cars full of drinks and food went through the drive up window. I advise management to view the video footage if there is any. This mismanagement of time is perfectly evident to your customers! read more

And one Venti Frappe and one Venti Pink Drink and one slice of UNWARMED Pumpkin bread and one sausage egg sandwich cost us $37.00! Three people were served after we placed our order! I love pink drinks but forgot to mention and once again it's noting but I've!! He thought he was being oh so generous when I said my bread wasn't warm..by getting a new one warmed and allowing me to keep the other one "on the house". This is my least favorite coffee shop in Idaho Falls. Not enough seating and generally a poor location for families. For example I ordered kids hot chocolates and was charged for /given grande hot chocolates that were too hot for children. If you have children you know that the grande size is too large for a 3 year old to hold and inevitably the child dropped the drink out of his hands. The staff were not very nice when the drink was cleaned up nor did they remake another. Never coming back to this location. read more

Ever been to a Starbucks that you love? Then don't go here. 1. I have been going here for several years usually every time I go through Idaho Falls. Not once have they ever gotten my order right. Even when I go into the store. It is always screwed up. Carmel Macchiato? All the Flavor is on the bottom... Light Cream in your Coffee? expect Heavy Cream. 2. This is quite possibly the slowest starbucks known to man. They take as much time as possible to make you think you are going to get a good drink. 3. The Stink eye from the Staff: Hey I ordered coffee, not a heaping helping of your arrogance. Stop glaring at me when I hand you a credit card. 4. Quite possibly the most retarded layout for a drive through ever. It is like a Mile and a Half between the Microphone and Menu and getting to the window, and then because of the tight turn you either end up 6 feet away from the window, or trying to take out the wall, never that happy medium where you need to be. I only go here because it is the only Starbucks in a shitty town that I wouldn't visit if I didn't need to go see my extended family. And it is the only one where you don't have to traverse a mall to get a drink. Avoid it like the plague. read more

Service 5/5 They are always so nice and cheery at this location. Great job management and baristas. They always have a smile on their face and genuinely seem to enjoy their job. Great service, great food, amazing staff, and a very clean restaurant EXCEPT: there is a disgusting vent above the espresso machine! Dust bunnies literally hanging from the vent, probably hasn't been cleaned in years (not exaggerating), seems as if it is one small breeze away from falling into someone's drink. Definitely not the type of thing you like to see right above your coffee as it's being made. Makes me wonder what else is unclean- if they can't even invest in a ladder and a swiffer sweeper then what makes me think the back of house is clean? This is a great Starbucks. As an out of town visitor to Idaho Falls I always come back here on my trips. The super friendly staff seems to know every guest that walks through the door and even if they don't they treat you like they've known you forever. Just very bubbly and happy smiles greet you upon entering. The product is great as usual but the staff and their warm and inviting attitudes really start your morning off right. I believe I've seen the manager there as well...a tall gentleman. He seems to have a great energy with his staff. Everybody seems to just flow well together. I tried paying for my coffee with a large bill, assumedley fine since there were no signs or 'rules' saying they did not accept large bills. I sat at the window in the drive through for 10 minutes while the cashier tried to get ahold of the manager. When the manager finally arrived she had a FULL meltdown at me. Lecturing me about their policies. That they were not allowed to pull cash from under the register. I offered to give back the coffee, and leave. She refused. Yet continued to ask me in disbelief "Do you ACTUALLY not have any money on your debit card?" I told her multiple times that I had less than $3 on my card, because I hadn't gone to the bank yet that day. Yet she wouldn't believe me until I showed her my account balance. Yet refused to let me give the coffee back. She eventually broke "policy" and got money from the safe under the register. Still scolding me for emptying her window cashier's till. read more

I always come to this Starbucks! However, today while we were paying at the window the barista by the name of Rachel I believe was so incredibly rude! She told us "no" when we went to pay with Apple Pay, then swiped our card & told us next time we can "pay by ourselves" if we would like. She then handed us our drink and a water that we didn't order but had missed the cookie we did order. She then ripped the water out of my husbands hands, slammed the window shut.
