Had to run an errand in Huntington and passed by Brewology, so I decided to pop in…read more I don't drink coffee--I already have plenty of energy, and my system just can't handle it! But I'm a big hot chocolate fan, so I ordered a hot cocoa and treated myself to a lemon square. Both were delicious--the lemon square was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It's such a cute little spot with a warm, cozy vibe. You could easily hang out here for a bit or get some work done on a laptop. The staff was super friendly, too. Definitely worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back!

The biggest positive was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions. I ordered a cold brew with nonfat milk but was disappointed to learn that nonfat was not available, so I went with 2% instead. Unfortunately, the coffee was bitter rather than smooth, which is normally one of the qualities I enjoy most about cold brew. I also tried the blueberry scone. It was just OK--perfectly edible, but not particularly memorable. For comparison, the cranberry walnut scone at Gregorys Coffee is considerably better. Brewology offers an extensive selection of creative drinks and attractive pastries, so other customers may have better luck with one of the specialty beverages. Still, the prices felt a bit high for what I received. Between the appealing setting, interesting menu, and exceptionally kind staff, there is potential here, but the coffee and scone did not quite justify the cost for me. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

I stopped in to Catalina's Bake Shop over the weekend to pick up a cake for my best friend's…read morebirthday. It was a cute space with many wonderful baked goods, drinks, and even empanadas. I wanted a funfetti cake and the one they had readily available had lovely sunflowers on it. The woman working was so sweet and put some writing on the cake for me. The 6" cake was about $50 dollars which seemed a bit high, but I think its pretty standard for a bakery. The cake itself was very moist and absolutely delicious and I would give it an A+. The cake I purchased for her birthday from another local bakery last year was really dry, so I was pleasantly surprised by this cake. The buttercream frosting was where I felt the cake fell a bit short. It tasted like pure unsalted butter and had almost no sweetness to it, so we ended up just eating the cake center and leaving the frosting. Unfortunate for an expensive cake but based on the other reviews I'm wondering if it was just a one time error. I don't think I would get another cake from there, but the rest of the baked goods and empanadas looked awesome so I will definitely be bake to try those!

I got the feeling that this was something that I must absolutely try so I took my son who is an empanada fan and hit the road. We got there at the end of the day and luckily there was 1 veg empanada left so it was meant to be! I got the vegetable one and he got beef. We also got a little container of green sauce. We looked around and I saw the most beautiful cupcakes so I had to buy a few. I was also interested in the almond danish but I decided to save that for another day. We polished off the empanadas very quickly. I have to say that they were the best empanadas I've ever had. They are not even comparable to any other empanadas I've ever tried. I'm not an expert on this subject but I know awesomeness from mediocrity and these were awesome. Yes empanadas from a bakery get an A+++. The outside was light and flaky and the filling was very flavorful and juicy. As far as the cupcakes, also an A+++. Besides being beautiful with the decorations and edible glitter they were very delicious. I tasted a piece of the carrot cake one and the one with the Oreo on top, both were moist inside and had the perfect amount of frosting. I did not taste the vanilla or the funfetti one but my kids said that they were the best they've ever tried. We've had plenty of cupcakes from bakeries in our lifetime and most were looking pretty but fell flat in the flavor department. These exceeded expectations in both area. We live a few miles away which might be dangerous. We will definitely be back.

The Strawberry Matcha Cake serves 8 and has three layers of matcha sponge cake filled with strawberry soft cream and strawberries. The Strawberry Matcha Cake is absolutely delicious and is light and airy. On a different occasion, I ordered the Mocha Cake and mini croissant breakfast sandwiches for a team meeting. The same amazing high quality goes for their Mocha Cake with mocha buttercream, finished with a swirl of caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. Nautilus sailing to deliver your coffee!…read more If you've ever caught the Nautilus Roasting Company coffee truck at a festival, you already know they make a seriously good cup of coffee but their Huntington Station spot is definitely worth a visit, too! The inside is cozy and welcoming, and there's a really nice patio out front that's perfect for sitting back, relaxing, and leisurely enjoying your coffee. Gary was great and he hooked up The coffee which itself is fantastic, incredibly smooth, with great lattes that make you want to stay for another one. I grabbed the PB&J and it absolutely hit the spot. And then there are the baked goods Everything we tried was delicious, but the rainbow cake ball might honestly be one of the best desserts I've ever had. I would go back just for that! The pumpkin maple donut was another standout. It had the perfect balance of pumpkin and maple in every bite without being overwhelming, and just the right amount of sweetness. Between the smooth coffee, cozy atmosphere, patio, and seriously incredible baked goods, Nautilus is definitely going on my list of places to return to. And yes, I'm absolutely coming back for that rainbow cake ball. In short: - Great coffee - Get the rainbow cake ball - Great Service - Cozy outdoor patio

It's the kind of place where you immediately want to sit down, take in the surroundings, and catch up on work or a good book. Where the experience stumbled was at the counter. Ordering a basic Americano shouldn't be a head-scratcher, but the barista working seemed completely unfamiliar with how to pull the shot and dilute it properly, resulting in a pretty awkward interaction and a hit-or-miss drink. For a boutique specialty shop charging premium prices, reliable baseline bar skills are a must. I'd definitely drop back in for the vibe and give them another shot--hopefully, it was just an off day for staffing.
