Holland, Michigan has several Starbucks locations... But this is definitely me and my wife's favorite, and not just because it is the closest stand-alone Starbucks to our home. The atmosphere inside is pleasant and comfortable, and we are always greeted with a smile and a cheery "Welcome to Starbucks" by the barista staff. While my wife and I go to the 16th St. location - sometimes utilizing the busy but speedy drive-thru - we also often go inside as well. We periodically enjoy a "date day" there; but also, just to get "out of the house" and get away with some "me time," she and I both go there individually as well, almost on a weekly basis. Truth be told, we LOVE our local Starbucks! read more

If you through the massive drive through line, you might get help. But, if you see a massive drive through line and think, 'there is no one inside' and will get served, big mistake. Order after order is processed before you. Soon you learn that this was a huge mistake. One item comes out, but the other, 'we are just waiting on your coffee cake.' Your coffee is cold, your breakfast sandwich is no longer hot, and you leave angry. I have reviewed before and admit to making a big mistake in returning. As a service, nearby is: * Culver's * Bigby * Bowemans * Anyone else read more

I usually go to this SB in the mid afternoon; and I've never had a bad experience. I usually go inside, but even the drive thru doesn't take a long wait like the other location. The service is much better now then it was maybe 2 years ago. I do see more people here as time goes by. The staff is always friendly and I'm glad they finally have a good crew on staff. read more

Starbucks - My birthday chai. 04-16-25 - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Holland, Michigan

Went here the last 3 times to order a coffee and asked for cup lined with Carmel and each time they have not done it or lied saying they did with no taste of Carmel or drizzle anywhere in sight...I'm not paying $8 for a drink that's not gonna be made right. Not that hard. read more

Not as good as the union 'Bucks, but maybe better than average. Got my order right in a fair amount of time. I'm dismayed at the strange new customer service English "Have a nice rest of your day," instead of, "thank you." "I'll help who's next in line," "Would you like anything else at all today?" It's exhausting! But all Starbucks are like this. I don't know if the other SBs are like this, but the workers here assume all customers are regulars and aren't comfortable with someone like me who can't figure out which of the fancy iced coffee drinks I might want for a change. Usually in a coffee place I order coffee (just a cup of coffee) or an espresso. Simple. But I like to drink out of ceramic ware, cup and saucer, a cup of coffee or an espresso cup. That probably sounds terribly old fashioned to you, but it would be better for the environment than all the trash generated by the disposable alternatives and it would make sitting down for a coffee more pleasant. They do this all over Europe, and they used to do this all over America. Since I had to get some big disposable plastic cup anyway, this time I thought I'd try one of the tall exotic coffee drinks that everyone else was drinking (taking to go), but the counter workers couldn't explain them to me, couldn't describe them, and in fact had the strangest look of panic when I asked about them. I knew of two ways to get young people to stop listening to me and go away, 1) talk about composting, 2) talk about insurance, and now I know a third: 3) ask the difference between an iced chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso and Iced Carmel Macchiato. read more

Never go to this Starbucks. The incompetence and lack of logistical reasoning is immense. We ordered through the mobile app at 4:46pm for a quick caffeine pick-me-up before hitting the road. When we at the Starbucks, we went to the front door to pickup our mobile order. Instead, they forced us to join the drive through. It was a mile long, wrapped around the perimeter of the building. We ordered two cold brews. They require no prep. And we had to wait behind all the people ordering at the kiosk. There is even a median trapping your car in the drive-thru line even if you wanted to bail because you're short on time. We waited in the line for 40 minutes. The drinks were old. If you aren't going to treat mobile orders different than drive through, then don't have mobile orders. Do not waste your time and money at this Starbucks. It will most certainly be nothing more than a waste of your time and money. read more

This location was not crowded and did not have a long drive thru line but we still waited a really long time for our drinks. A woman and child - there before us - were still waiting on their order when we left. We enjoy Starbucks but if you're looking for a quick stop - this location isn't the place. read more

Their service is very kind and way better than the family fare one and they actually make their drinks right and make them taste good and they actually know the menu and they don't get attitude with the customers read more

I have never been more disappointed in a Starbucks. Went in at and placed my order at 2:30. After waiting for 11 minutes they finally called my name just to present the wrong drink. It was a hot mocha. They go oops and "remake" it. I didn't get my beverage for another 7 minutes. They made something iced that doesn't even taste like the peppermint mocha. I left with my incorrect drink at 2:48. I spent 18 minutes waiting for a Frappuccino I never received. read more

I suppose your thinking it's just Starbucks. Well, I've lived all over the country and been to a lot of Starbucks locations. This one needs a little help. The tea is great, very consistent with other stores. But they were out of the first three sandwiches I asked for. I had only a little time for lunch, so thought I'd pick up a sandwich with my tea. I took choice number 4; it wasn't good. My lesson: stick to the drinks there. read more

Every time I go to this Starbucks I ALWAYS have a problem! Last time I was there I got my fiancé a black coffee and they didn't put the lid on tight. I got to my fiancé's work and the kid popped off! It went EVERYWHERE!! All over my car, my sister, my $300 purse. I got corporate involved and all they did was give me a $25 gift card. read more

What's the point of having mobile ordering if we have to wait in the drive thru line that's wrapped around the building? What's even better is that they didn't even make the drinks right and there's no way that I'm gonna wait in line again! North side of holland Starbucks is SO much better than this one. Travel 5 more minutes for a better experience! read more

So excited about the new location in Holland. Tbis is much needed and a great addition to the south end of town. Cool vibe inside and as always excellent service. Even a few "Exclusive" sandwich options for the area. read more

Don't order in store pick up...there's no way to know if the inside will actually be open & they will watch you stand outside and do NOTHING. Terrible customer service and such long lines. Do better starbucks. read more

terribly slow. I understand being busy and having a rush, but the workers were wandering around aimlessly looking lost. the drinks were decent. the guy who took my order sounded like he didn't want to be there. I understand not enjoying your job, but c'mon, you're in customer service. read more

Building not open for pick ups. Drive thru was around the building. Had to wait in line for my pick up. Not very convenient. Usually have a good experience here. Will probably go to the other one from now on. read more

I buy a lot of coffee from a lot of Starbucks around the country. This one is in my hometown. I mobile ordered to pick up and work at home today and my "no ice" iced chai came with a full cup of ice. I asked her if she wouldn't mind just taking the ice out. She did and I was left with a $7.24 half cup which tasted awful. I even stopped at a time they weren't very busy! There are a lot of great coffee shops in Holland and Zeeland, MI. I need to be more intentional about giving them my business so they prosper. read more

Literally the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to and every time I go there they're just as slow as the last time. Don't go there even if you have 25 mins before work because they will definitely take longer than that almost every time you go there. If you want Starbucks go to the one on the north side or even the ones in family fare cus they're all faster than this place. read more

Lots of good coffee shops in Holland -- Leamonjello's, 205, Ferrish, Vietnamese -- to name a few. Why go to overpriced Starbucks for cookie cutter corporate coffee? read more

Just horrid. I ordered two drinks for pickup, and as of right now (a half hour after I ordered them) they're still not ready. The baristas not standing around talking repeatedly made the wrong size drink. I would recommend literally any other Starbucks UPDATE: I got my drinks... and one of my cups was empty. Please, bring your business elsewhere read more

I didn't think the reviews could be right. They were. Unbelievably bad service. Ignored by two staff. Not crowded. The management is really bad for having all these negative reviews and doing nothing about it. read more

Only had to wait a little bit. The drive thru was packed yet i was the only one in line. They felt bad. Great selection of treats. HUGE restaurant. It was beautiful but "cold". Needed a fireplace or something. Plenty of room for studying (and many were) but not sure i could do it. Speedy service once i got my order in. read more

This place is literally terrible. The worst Starbucks I've ever been to and I've decided that today is the last time I'll be coming even though it is the close to where I live. They freaking ran out of cold brew - it is 9am in the morning! How are you out of cold brew!?! Prior to this, almost every time I'm here my drink is wrong and I just can't do it anymore. I'd highly recommend that you find another location as this one is awful. read more

Drive an extra mile to Lemonjellos or the 205 coffee bar or simpatico and save the 20-40 minutes waiting for mediocre coffee. Even if you think its not busy at all, you will still wait a crazy long time. I planned an important client meeting there and they closed their cafe without warning - leaving me in a lurch. read more

Downloaded Yelp just to leave a review and let others know just how bad this Starbucks is. This location just does whatever they want. They don't do mobile orders, they're seemingly never open, wait times to fill orders are the longest I've ever spent at a Starbucks and now they've closed their lobby. Every time I've gotten a drink here, it's been so diluted that I could've just bought a water and gotten the same experience. Do yourself a favor, take the five minutes to drive north down the highway to the other Starbucks location. This place is terrible read more

If I could give a zero star review I would but I cannot. My sister and I went to this starbucks to get drinks. We waited about a half hour for one and then another (generous) half hour for the other and it was never made so we left. I was literally sotting there for an hour and no one ever asked what I was waiting for or anything. One of our drinks was sitting on the counter the whole time and remained empty. Such a slow and unprofessional environment. I strongly suggest never coming to this location because it will save your time and money driving a little out of your way to another location. read more

Came through the drive through today and half of their menu was "unavailable". It was hard to understand what the worker was saying. No one seemed to know what they were doing. I asked for a skinny caramel mocha iced... fairly standard, however it was made hot! When I let them know the drink was made wrong I was given attitude not an apology as if it were a burden to remake the drink. (It wasn't busy either). I also ordered a bagel and cream cream and was given a spoon, when I asked for a knife for my cream cheese they had not one knife in the whole shop! read more

It was a bit busy and I was one of the first people to order my drink and food. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a iced cinnamon cloud macchiato. I had to wait 40 minutes to get my drink and everyone else had already gotten their drink. After 40 minutes, I started to get annoyed because I needed caffeine and I still hadn't received my order. I went to tell them that I didn't get my drink and they told me it was on the bar, ready for pickup. I went to go get it, but it was not my drink! It was a cinnamon cloud macchiato for britany, mine was for Emma and it was iced. They told me take the drink and that they must have gotten the name wrong but I showed them my wrapper for my croissant and it showed that I had ordered two items. So I gave them the Brittany drink back. They STILL haven't come out with my original drink that I ordered at 8:40 and it is now 9:46! I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE!!!!! read more
