The music in this store is so loud, you almost have to yell at the employees when ordering. A very unpleasant environment and the employees get snappy when you can't understand what they're asking because you can't hear over the music. Other locations don't blast music. Go elsewhere. read more

Worst customer service. Some ladies walked in just before me and were chatting and laughing with the staff while I just stood there in line waiting. Then they started an extremely slow process of ordering- one of the ladies turned back to me and said "sorry, I'm just making stuff up!" and kept going. No one offered to help me. Left without getting a drink. read more

We just made it before the store closed and thank God because we were dying to try their Hot Macha Latte Tea! The young girl at the counter was very sweet and helpful! She took my order and delivered it with a smile! We opted out of putting sugar in our drinks and honestly, our tea tasted just like the healthy greens you drink for energy and vitality! Most people ask for the sweetener, however we want to avoid the extra calories at all costs and live longer! My husband is not so thrilled about the new "no sugar rule" but he says that he needs to lose a few pounds and I'm going to help him with that goal! I'm his accountability partner so he has to listen to me! Also, all their reusable cups are 90% recycled! That's good stuff but they are a little pricey $22.09 - $ 27.00. Right now 50% off so get um while they last! If you want to contribute to an underserved population then you can stop by and purchase some delicious take home coffee from Ethiopia! Hey Starbucks....this is a shout out 2 our new drink for the new year! read more

Food and drinks are pretty standard, service is mediocre, ambiance decent when they are not skimping on the AC, but not cool when basic things are not in stock, such as napkins? Leaves customers scratching their head (with their sticky fingers) wondering why no napkins? read more

SLOW!!!!!! Placed an order ahead and sat outside since I had ordered it while across the street. Store had one customer placing an order I sat and sat and sat, went inside waiting for my name and order to be placed. Nothing!! Finally after being there for awhile I had to ask and was then told they no longer had muffins and was surprised I didn't have my drink. Idk why she was surprised, she never made it. I was sitting there watching as people who came in after my order was placed received there orders. Communication is key and just don't lie. You didn't make the drink in the first place and as I'm getting my refund, now my drink is being made and I get the worst tasting mocha drink ever!!! Starbucks overall is starting to just be crappy. read more

I been to this Starbucks 2 times and this will be the last. I have no problem with any other Starbucks but this one. I asked for whipped cream on my lavender frappe??? Where is it??? And where is the lavender foam on my matcha latte??? The lavender frappe was REALLY chunky. And the place was covered in trash and straw wrappers. I loved Starbucks and gave good reviews but this is crazy! read more

Drinks were fine. We stopped it to do some computer work and the cafe is around 80 degrees, inside. We asked the staff to please turn on a/c and they claimed to not be able to adjust the thermostat, which is obviously not true. It would have been pretty expensive to keep it at 80 a month ago I'd suck it up but we brought our infant so now we have to leave. read more

I'm not going to waist everyone's time reviewing the coffee and food at Starbucks. We all know what's what with this ginormous chain. Let's talk about what might be a little different about this Starbucks. 1. Everyone complains about parking at Starbucks. Many of their parking lots are very tight. Bryn Mawr is legendary for being almost impossible. The good news is the Havertown location is middle of the road. It's really not bad. Most of the time you can get a space without a ten point turn! 2. This location has had a recent remodel. The new décor is contemporary. I'm not a fan but it's new and clean and neat. More importantly it's designed for staying a while especially if you have Wi-Fi. There is a central table that seats nine. Very nice for spreading out to study. This is a decent Starbucks with a nice internal design. It's worth visiting! read more

The service was absolutely amazing here, the baristas were super kind and always are smiling and laughing. Ben was really nice and made my really difficult order just right. I also got food and it was nice and hot. Love it, would 100% recommend! read more

Love the coffee, hate the management. Pickup is fine, but if you intend to sit and sip your coffee at this location, bundle up and get ready to freeze and catch a cold. Kept a fleece and winter jacket on and still couldn't stay warm! Checked with staff, they apologized, saying management does not allow adjustments to the thermostat. Clandestine way to deter customers from sitting in the cafe? Better check your thermostat stat! read more

Pissed! I went in today to get a Caramel Apple Spice and a Double Bacon breakfast sandwich. They were out of the sandwich as it seems they always are, and I received the wrong drink! I got a Apple Crisp Macchiato, and even that had zero Apple flavor! I didn't notice until I got home relaxed and ready to enjoy my breakfast. It was a total disappointment. read more

This is a decent Starbucks. I was surprised at how large the parking lot was, but every single spot was still taken and I had to wait for someone to leave. Looks like they need to expand, to me! read more

The woman taking our order today should probably not be working at the register. She had on dark black sunglasses and barely acknowledged people when they went up to order . She had major attitude and looked like she hated her job. I couldn't even tell if she was listening to my order or not . Send her home ! read more

I spent a few hours here recently working on a school paper. This place is extremely comfortable. Outlets are easily accessible. It's better than other Starbucks in this area. And if you think parking is bad here, try Starbucks in Paoli or South Philly sometime. You'll appreciate what you do have here. read more

If you want to wait three times as long as stated for the wrong drink this should be your go to Starbucks. I am a regular customer at several Starbucks and this one is consistently one of the worst ones I've been to. Drive a little more and go to a decent one. read more

This starbucks is deceptively bland... Until you step inside. Its centerpiece is a large wood table (I couldn't tell if it was oak or particleboard), with strategically placed power strips underneath, so that each person at the table could potentially plug in his/her laptop. I actually got a decent amount of studying done there...that is, until the teenie boppers showed up at 8. (a busload showed up at once, got some frozen frapuccinos, and commenced talking & giggling uncontrollably with each other) Shouldn't you be out at a party? read more

Today, my boyfriend and I went to Starbucks. We had to repeat our orders 3x before the lady took our order. Then she never took our name and had a poor attitude. Our orders were wrong. We asked for iced coffees with almond milk, was charged for such and given hot coffee with regular milk. It was highly irritating to have to repeat our order and still have it completely wrong. We couldn't wait to get it fixed since we had an appointment. It was just frustrating read more

Because Starbucks has the same drinks...well... everywhere, I base my Starbucks reviews on customer service and ambiance/seating areas. As someone who likes to use Starbucks to get writing done, this location is pretty okay. Late Saturday afternoon, is a little less crowded than going on a Sunday. There are plenty of seats, although I wish there were more electrical outlets. The weekend lines tend to be long, but the baristas are friendly, and they are usually pretty good at getting through orders fairly quickly, even when busy. What I don't like? It's always FREEZING in the seating area of this location. What's up with that? I mean, I always have to wear a heavy sweater or hoodie no matter what the temperature is. I guess that will come in handy during the summer though when it's hot. read more

The Starbucks in Havertown I will never go to again they are completely rude and the beverages are never hot

This is my go to place for lattes usually, and always seem to encounter pleasant baristas, especially Alex who is super nice! Today, meh, not the case. Three baristas there this evening but one of them (Elle?), whom I've not met, seemed to not be having a good day as she was quite arrogant. Behaved as if she didn't want to be there or talk to anyone, giving short rude responses colder than their iced coffee! Bad customer service!! Cheer up girl! At least the coffee was good. read more

This location is super convenient, right by my work so I do come here quite often. They get my mobile orders done fast and they are always what I ordered. Now the cons: I agree with some of the people here, the staff can be quite rude. The biggest con for me though is this location cannot make a lemonade refresher to save their life. I have ordered it MANY times and it never tastes right, almost like they use a different juice than lemonade in it. read more

Painfully slow and inefficient service. I've been there a few times and had to wait long even if it wasn't busy. The last visit, I waited over 40 mins for a few food items and two watery tasting lattes. In the entire time I was there the guy making the food never brought it to the customer waiting area, just oddly hoarded the warmed (turned cold) items at his workstation. Customers had to ask the cashier for their food when tired of waiting and literally wait for the cashier to sift through a large pile of undistributed food items to get their order. Also, they ran out of half the menu (pumpkin anything, almost all breakfast sandwiches, whipped cream, you name it). So much so that after getting sick of being told "we don't have that", I just asked "what DO you have, then?", and ordered from that list. Disappointing. read more

This is the most personable Starbucks crew I've ever met. Pretty much everyone is extremely great. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is one employee I believe named Sally is extremely rude. I come in almost everyday and am always extremely pleasant to her saying thank you and all I get is a stank face and ignored. Aside from that these people are amazing. Would recommend highly. read more

Having been here quite a few times, I suppose it's time for a review. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I witnessed the longest line known to man this morning and the staff handled it cheerfully. There were no signs of stress, just the notion that they work as a well-oiled machine. I never had an order come out wrong, but I did knock off a star for the parking lot. It's pretty rough, especially in the rush hour where everyone is trying to get their caffeine fix. read more

I would never typically write a review for Starbucks but I had to comment on the spaciousness of this one! Plenty of tables for working and a nice communal table. The cafe room itself is separate from the coffee bar which is nice. Good quiet atmosphere. Drinks are standard. Staff is super friendly too! This is easily one of the best Starbucks I've been to! Minus one star for parking disaster. read more

Standing in a Starbucks right now. Barista had one person with a two drink order in front of me. Turns out to be time consuming drinks. I'm waiting for an iced coffee. No other customers are in line. Three employees are standing around talking, not realizing that one of them could make the simple iced coffee for me so I could be on my way. Instead they continue to yap away, totally unaware of anything around them. Waited 5 minutes for simple unsweetened iced coffee. Congrats on the 1 star ladies. U earned it read more

Has a good sized sitting area to sit and relax. Management could have thought about increasing the area in front of the counter when they last renovated the place. It can get really tight when a line starts to form. I noticed that the baristas are not that quick in preparing orders. So expect a longer wait compared to other Starbucks. read more

I've been going in to get some work done for a few hours during the past month and noticed a couple things. Staff does a poor job cleaning the restrooms. And the other day someone dropped a drink near the side door and when an employee cleaned it up, she didn't place one of those yellow wet floor warning signs, which I thought was particularly careless since a lot of people use that side door to come in and out. Also, if you plan on spending a few hours, bring a sweater. They keep it pretty chilly in there. Service has been decent and the drinks have been well made. read more

I definitely like this particular Starbucks better than most, thanks to its spacious seating and available outlets. At other places, you have to sell your first born child to get a seat with some electrical juice, but this location has a very LARGE table in the center area with outlets built in to the underside of the table....allowing anyone sitting there to be plugged in! There are also a couple more around the perimeter, but I always look forward to spreading out my study materials at the table. The staff has always been super friendly and they make great new drink suggestions! read more
