Having been here quite a few times, I suppose it's time for a review. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I witnessed the longest line known to man this morning and the staff handled it cheerfully. There were no signs of stress, just the notion that they work as a well-oiled machine. Worst customer service. Some ladies walked in just before me and were chatting and laughing with the staff while I just stood there in line waiting. Then they started an extremely slow process of ordering- one of the ladies turned back to me and said "sorry, I'm just making stuff up!" and kept going. No one offered to help me. Horrible customer service standard To Mediocre drinks. I have been to this Starbucks several times it's close to where I work but now I'm not going to go back. The young people that take your order at the cash register have attitude they barely speak the music is blasting most of the time. We just made it before the store closed and thank God because we were dying to try their Hot Macha Latte Tea! The young girl at the counter was very sweet and helpful! She took my order and delivered it with a smile! We opted out of putting sugar in our drinks and honestly, our tea tasted just like the healthy greens you drink for energy and vitality! Most people ask for the sweetener, however we want to avoid the extra calories at all costs and live longer! My husband is not so thrilled about the new "no sugar rule" but he says that he needs to lose a few pounds and I'm going to help him with that goal! I'm his accountability partner so he has to listen to me! Also, all their reusable cups are 90% recycled! That's good stuff but they are a little pricey $22.09 - $ 27.00. I'm not going to waist everyone's time reviewing the coffee and food at Starbucks. We all know what's what with this ginormous chain. Let's talk about what might be a little different about this Starbucks. 1. Everyone complains about parking at Starbucks. Many of their parking lots are very tight. Bryn Mawr is legendary for being almost impossible. The good news is the Havertown location is middle of the road. It's really not bad. Most of the time you can get a space without a ten point turn! 2. This location has had a recent remodel. The new décor is contemporary. I'm not a fan but it's new and clean and neat. More importantly it's designed for staying a while especially if you have Wi-Fi. There is a central table that seats nine. Very nice for spreading out to study. This is a decent Starbucks with a nice internal design. It's worth visiting! read more

This location is super convenient, right by my work so I do come here quite often. They get my mobile orders done fast and they are always what I ordered. Now the cons: I agree with some of the people here, the staff can be quite rude. The biggest con for me though is this location cannot make a lemonade refresher to save their life. I have ordered it MANY times and it never tastes right, almost like they use a different juice than lemonade in it. read more

Painfully slow and inefficient service. I've been there a few times and had to wait long even if it wasn't busy. The last visit, I waited over 40 mins for a few food items and two watery tasting lattes. In the entire time I was there the guy making the food never brought it to the customer waiting area, just oddly hoarded the warmed (turned cold) items at his workstation. Customers had to ask the cashier for their food when tired of waiting and literally wait for the cashier to sift through a large pile of undistributed food items to get their order. Also, they ran out of half the menu (pumpkin anything, almost all breakfast sandwiches, whipped cream, you name it). This starbucks is deceptively bland... Until you step inside. Its centerpiece is a large wood table (I couldn't tell if it was oak or particleboard), with strategically placed power strips underneath, so that each person at the table could potentially plug in his/her laptop. Because Starbucks has the same drinks...well... everywhere, I base my Starbucks reviews on customer service and ambiance/seating areas. As someone who likes to use Starbucks to get writing done, this location is pretty okay. Late Saturday afternoon, is a little less crowded than going on a Sunday. There are plenty of seats, although I wish there were more electrical outlets. The weekend lines tend to be long, but the baristas are friendly, and they are usually pretty good at getting through orders fairly quickly, even when busy. What I don't like? It's always FREEZING in the seating area of this location. What's up with that? I mean, I always have to wear a heavy sweater or hoodie no matter what the temperature is. I guess that will come in handy during the summer though when it's hot. read more

The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is one employee I believe named Sally is extremely rude. I've been going in to get some work done for a few hours during the past month and noticed a couple things. Staff does a poor job cleaning the restrooms. And the other day someone dropped a drink near the side door and when an employee cleaned it up, she didn't place one of those yellow wet floor warning signs, which I thought was particularly careless since a lot of people use that side door to come in and out. The cafe room itself is separate from the coffee bar which is nice. Good quiet atmosphere. Drinks are standard. Staff is super friendly too! This is easily one of the best Starbucks I've been to! Standing in a Starbucks right now. Barista had one person with a two drink order in front of me. Turns out to be time consuming drinks. I'm waiting for an iced coffee. No other customers are in line. Three employees are standing around talking, not realizing that one of them could make the simple iced coffee for me so I could be on my way. Instead they continue to yap away, totally unaware of anything around them. Waited 5 minutes for simple unsweetened iced coffee. Congrats on the 1 star ladies. U earned it read more

Has a good sized sitting area to sit and relax. Management could have thought about increasing the area in front of the counter when they last renovated the place. It can get really tight when a line starts to form. I noticed that the baristas are not that quick in preparing orders. So expect a longer wait compared to other Starbucks. read more

I definitely like this particular Starbucks better than most, thanks to its spacious seating and available outlets. At other places, you have to sell your first born child to get a seat with some electrical juice, but this location has a very LARGE table in the center area with outlets built in to the underside of the table....allowing anyone sitting there to be plugged in! There are also a couple more around the perimeter, but I always look forward to spreading out my study materials at the table. Just. So. Bad. I have numerous stories of nonsense with this store. But, today's shall be the feature. I order a dark roast drip coffee. Literally all that needs to happen is a cup needs to be placed under the spout and then, upon fillage, a lid must be applied. I waited for about 12 minutes for a MOBILE ORDER. No one checked in. I had to ask twice before the barista realized she was not, in fact, brewing any dark roast. The explanation was that they dump regular coffee after 11am. Welcome to crazy town.
