I've been coming to this Starbucks more and more often due to its convenient location near the gym, and also the fact that its a very pleasant place to spend some time with a book or if you have some computer work. It's definitely one of the best looking Starbucks in town. Tody when I came to this Starbucks in an intense rainstorm, as I opened the front door, the wind just yanked the door open taking my hand with it and crushing it... so I ended up with a nasty looking burst vein with swelling and bruising. The staff were immediately kind enough to offer me ice and as I sat down, the very friendly and personable manager came over to make sure it was all documented etc. I got offered some more coffee and the manager asked me if I wanted it made with the Clover. What's a "Clover"? I asked.. Since I recently moved here from Seattle (Starbucks' hometown), I thought I knew pretty much all the new stuff up Starbucks' sleeve. Well it seems the Clover is a one of a kind coffee machine which works like a reverse french press, extracting much more flavor from coffee beans than regular brewing....and this Starbucks location as the only one in town!(since only 200 or so a year are manufactured). I must admit the flavor the Clover produces is really amazing, and Iwas surprised that it wasn't advertised more prominently as an option. It is, after all, only 30c extra to have your coffee brewed using this awesome machine. I think the best testimony to the Clover is how passionate all the staff are about it! read more

Lots of windows to let in the sunlight. A bunch of small tables, barstools and comfy chairs, as well as a big 'community table'. Went there about a week after they opened and it was pretty disorganized. I had my drink made wrong twice, they forgot the food I ordered, etc. Other than that, it's a Starbucks. I'm sure it will be fine given some time. One downside is all the high school students that flood the place from the french high school across the street. I don't go to Starbucks to have a drink, read and hear, "Like, omg!" every 10 seconds. read more

I've worked as a Starbucks partner in the past- I'm fairly particular about my coffee. What sets this Starbucks location apart from any other in Nova Scotia is the featured "Starbucks Reserve Coffee" with the elusive Clover Brewing System which provides a deeper more flavourful coffee tasting experience in every freshly ground cup. In fact only one other coffee house in the province has this brewing technology. I know- sounds snobbish. TRY IT. It's the same price as a regular brew- but could be the best cup of coffee you've ever tasted. Chose your favourite Starbucks Blonde, Medium, Dark or Reserve roast- always fresh and hot. I went here on my bike once and the tea I had was fine, but the prices are rediculous

By far my favourite Starbucks. It had a rough start in 2013, but since hen the staff is all new and the new manager, Joe, is fantastically enthusiastic. The staff are very, very friendly and are great for getting me to try new things. The decor is very nice too. Don't forget, all the books are real! Sometimes it's nice to just pull one off the shelf and check out! I just wish it was an even bigger location! read more

I really like this location, but I only gave it 3 stars since I find the inside temperature far too COLD.

Good service - fast and efficient. Friendly staff, nice people and a nice atmosphere. The only knock on this location is the music. (Someone there likes "big band" type of music and they sometimes play the same music over and over for days.) But all good besides that. This Starbucks has to be the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The drive thru is super slow. Even when you're the only one in the drive thru. They have never gotten my drink right. It seems like a lot of them have no idea what they are doing. Every other Starbucks has it figured out. Why not this one ?? read more

The service got way better initially they were always always always running out of supplies.

This Starbucks is clean with a friendly staff. My only complaint is the small amount of seating. I like to take a book to Starbucks and read while I drink my coffee, so when all the seats are full its a wasted trip. read more
