Starbucks Pilot - Stars and Stripes (Grapevine) Renovated in 2024. Have you heard of Starbucks Pilot Store? There's currently only three locations and they're all located in DFW Area of great state of Texas! Starbucks Pilot Store - introduces and tests new products before they are available to the market. This was one of the first locations that acquired "Clover Coffee Machine." Now you can find them in more locations. "Clover Coffee Machine," freshly grind and pour your coffee in less than a minute. If you listen very carefully, it makes fun sounds before it pours your coffee. Friendly reminder, while you stay at any Starbucks, your hot or cold coffee and tea are on the house. Since they remodeled this location, in 2024, it's much more roomy and cozy. When you first come in, to the right, you'll find large, conference-size table with nine chairs. Above the table is a large, beautiful art piece of, "Green Coffee Branches." The space where this table is located used to be a closed-off private room you could reserve, now available for everyone. To the left of the main entrance, you will find more great seating options. Against the windows, there's a large, leather bench with five tables with five additional chairs. More seating is available with seven comfortable green chairs around tables. This location does get fairly busy and it can be difficult to stay here and get work done since the Wi-Fi can be spotty. Parking can be difficult depending on when you come here. They offer roughly 25 parking spaces with few handicap spaces. I've been here before it was remodeled and improvements are significantly better. I think the staff do a great job, efficient and are friendly. I've had my drink brought to my table if I'm sitting down for a while or they offer large Pick-Up counter. Patio offers twelve tables with twenty-eight chairs. Really can't wrap my head around how this Starbucks location would get low star reviews. Possibly just drive thru experiences for others, but the location is setup so well and so clean. We usually come here and have issues once every few times. However this time we ordered 2 regular hot coffees. When we took the lid off, the coffee looked like swamp water, even thats an understatement. We thought looks could be deceiving so we ended up walking off and took a sip when it wasn't as hot. This coffee was so bad I'm genuinely curious on what they put in there. It was so bad it could wake up a dead man from one sip and thats an understatement. After this horrible experience we thought we could go back and get a refund / new coffees. However to our surprise, he said he couldn't do anything about it because we walked off after we got the coffees. He did not want to offer a refund or remake the drinks. This is a great location near several highways, I like stopping by here on my way to work. They always give me great service regardless if I go through the drive-thru or go inside. Like any full service Starbucks, they have a great variety of sandwiches and pastries. This is a pretty big location, lot's of seating. I adore this store and their amazing group of kiddos working here - my order is always perfect and they absolutely go above and beyond- I frequent often and love this little store. People really need to get a grip - I have never had one bad experience here and in 2023- there isn't customer service honored hardly anywhere anymore - but not the case here - proud of your team and smiling faces with each visit- giant kudos! read more

The baristas are super nice. Love the coffee and ease of mobile orders, but damn... I just can't get behind the BLM shirts. I thought they were only wearing them in CA. My CA starbucks had a sign that said "black lives matter, but make it Fall" and had autumn leaves on it. So cringey. It's just a weird marketing move. Maybe they are trying to prevent rioting and burning like we saw last summer? If I wanted virtue signaling with my coffee I'd hit up my brother in law or something or go on Facebook. You do you. Wowzers this particular Starbucks is huge! You could bring a group here if you wanted to and there'd be ample space to sit down. Cozy chairs too. Love the drive thru and it's conveniently located off of the highway and next to the mall if you need to go shop. Smiley and sweet baristas that can whip up your iced coffee in a flash. I pull through the drive through earlier today, and the Barista doesn't miss a beat as I start to order my usual, she chimes in, ".., a banana chocolate smoothie with two shots and non-fat milk? Would you like your warmed-up coffee cake as well?" THAT is a very good indication that I spend way too much time and money on Starbucks! Obviously, I am hooked, but I have a love-hate affair going on here, due to their consistently inconsistent supplies (yes, I've actually seen them run out of coffee!). After shopping at the Grapevine Mills Mall, I always stop by here. Yes, I am addicted to coffee, and it has to be STARBUCKS! I am always SO LAZY to get out of my car, so drive-thru is the best choice. No problem, it's just a little hard to get to, and find the drive-thru! This location has awesome staffs, and even when there is a super long drive thru line the staff seem to get people in and out quickly. Rarely do they get your order wrong and if the do as everyone has an off day they are super fast at fixing it and making sure you leave happy with a smile on your face :) read more

This starbucks is a little hard to get to with the construction going on around its location however this is a good one. I went through the drive thru this morning and although the line was quite long it moved very quickly. The attendant was very courteous taking the order. The cars seemed to roll effortlessly up to the window where their drinks were ready to hand out. When I made it to the window they had my caramel frap ready to go. As per my order they did put extra caramel which some places try to skimp on. He cashed me out and told me to have a great day. Overall this particular location has got their stuff together. No waiting in the drive thru for five minutes. They get you in and out and they get your order right. Kudos to this location, the one by my house could take a lesson from this one! read more

This is the most inept Starbucks location I have been to in a while. Every time I order a cold drink they hand it to me with coffee running down the side. Every time I order a hot drink they hand it to me with sticky stuff on the sleeve of the cup. I ask them to clean the cup off most of the time when they do this because I don't want sticky coffee or liquid all over my cup holders. Every time I ask I get a look like I'm insane and hostile expressions from the barista. They are also consistently out of all hot sandwiches whenever my son wants one. To make matters worse, I ordered a holiday drink recently. It tasted like old coffee water, not a latte at all. Took off the lid to check it out and it was grey liquid. No foam.
