I love this Starbucks location. It is very easy to jump off the interstate, grab a drink, and jump back on. This is my regular stop when driving between Carmel and Fort Wayne. This location has the potential to do really well given it's right off the interstate in gas city, however, the fact that it's never open anymore really limits its ability to take in money for the goods and services that it provides to people in the area. For example, I work right up the street, and me and my coworkers alone would spend $40-$50 at this location a day on Tea and miscellaneous other drinks that we would get. However, now that the location closes at 1:30, if it even opens that day, we probably don't even spend nearly that much. The benefit of all of this, I've been going to the pony espresso in Gas City and I feel better about spending my money supporting a local small business that needs to help more than a company like Starbucks that can't even staff their locations. read more

It's just another Starbucks, but one of my favorites when it comes to service. I pass by this one on a regular, consistant basis on commutes from the South Bend area to Muncie. It's the easiest Starbucks stop off of 69 right there in Gas City! Literally will take you a minute to get off the exit to it and back on. The baristas are always friendly here and the drive-thru is fast. I've had a lot of drinks here and have yet to get one that isn't made correctly. read more

If I could give this place NO stars I would. These 3 lazy workers had the audacity to close 30min earlier and when I knocked on the door to ask why were they close early, they got mad. My husband and I were driving to Indianapolis and needed our Starbucks fix since it was pretty late and needed to stay awake. But these people (Starbucks employees) decided because the residents from their small town, Gas-City which consist of 2 blocks, and most likely were sleeping, that they had to close early. Well to the staff of Starbucks you are part of a worldwide chain and unfortunately for you, you have to follow the hours of operation. However, if you want to open and close whenever you want, I recommend you get a job at a mom and pop shop. I've visited this Starbucks location multiple times, when traveling back and forth from Ft. Wayne and Indy/Bloomington. It's a great halfway point to stretch your legs, use the facilities, and purchase some non-gas station coffee. It is also an alternative-universe Norman Rockwell Starbucks location, I think because of its close vicinity to Taylor. I always see wholesome students studying or well-nourished families enjoying sugary whip-creamed frappuccinos, and feel out-of-place as a monochrome americano-ordering ne'er-do-well urbanite. Service here is typically better than most other Starbucks, and this Gas City location is a very welcome rest-stop when faced with I-69 driving drudgery. read more

We just stopped. I ordered a latte with half the syrup - full pumps of syrup were included. It tastes like all syrup and milk. I doubt I even got an extra shot. If you can't hear the order, maybe time to turn down the background noise. Repeat the order to the customer. Ask if they want whipped cream too as that wasn't asked. Also, if a customer orders a plain coffee, it is generally good to ask if they want to leave room for cream. Train the employees. Sucks to pay close to $10 for crappy coffee and mediocre service. read more

A Starbucks worker gave me a free drink this morning. She made me aware that she had made my drink wrong a few days back and I never said anything or had her remake it. I just thought I didn't like the drink (as it was my first time trying it) but that wasn't the case. I attend this Starbucks very often (a few times a week). I always have appreciated their service, but after my last experience I just had to leave a review here. Every worker has been very kind and attentive. They normally make an effort to have a personal connection and ask how my day is going. They will even assist in helping me switch up my order and find new things. The last time I went the barista who took my order was none of these things. She seemed annoyed that I was there and like I was bothering her. She didn't even flash a smile but she just stared at me until I started talking. I thought they she may of had a bad day so I let it go. I returned a few days later, and I was treated in the exact same manner. Love Starbucks but this location is the absolute worst. I just waited for 10 minutes after being told "I will be right with you". There was one car in the drive through, and one at the end of the bar. With 4 employees working. The one sat at the Window, the other attempting to make a caramel macchiato, another couldn't figure out how to slice a banana and the other was watching the coffee brew.
