This morning I had a change to stop & purchase the new fall drink from Starbucks. The apple pie ice macchiato I added sweet form I can taste the notes of carmal brown sugar & Apple also It's not overly sweet. This is simply delicious 10/10 it's a appl pie in a cup beside the hot carmal apple cider this is one of my favorite that I hope they continue all fall long. This drink really puts me in the mood for fall next time I will be trying the apple pie hot macchiato but either way I don't think I'll be disappointed. ENJOY read more

I wouldn't even call this a real Starbucks. This place has no real options for coffee and no limited edition drinks were available. We also had a coupon for use and they said they will not honor it. Decided to go at 8pm when it says it closes at 9 and I had been to this Starbucks before too and they close at 9 on Sundays I get there ready to order my mom her drink because it was raining outside and she was craving a warm drink and the Lady says it closed And I said but you close at 9? She's like yea but I had to close early today like what? I'm sorry I didn't know you just get to choose when to close or at least advertise the new closing time or something. I Think the baristx was very good at making their coffee. While I was there, my father was waiting outside with our dog, and he was wearing headphones. I ordered two drinks for my dad dog and me and he hated it. My tea was delightful and when I went to the woods later it was very refreshing My dog even found a bone! It wasnot the best weather for it because it had lots of rain and was cold but a nice honesy citrus mint tea soothed my sore throat which i caught from a coworker We dont get along. Got a coupon for "Starbucks is Here" at the Safeway on Goshen Road in Gaithersburg. So since it was free and we were going by the Ice Cream shop about halfway to that point we figured we would go by and get a coffee... Wow! What a waste not only was it not good, it was terrible... I have a pretty high tolerance for less than perfect coffee but this was hideous. The guy behind the counter seemed as knowledgeable as any other but when I tasted the Decaf Vanilla Latte it made me cringe... this may be a new shop but give them some time... they've got A LONG way to go.... read more

I live in the immediate area surrounding this Starbucks location, but would never provide this location nor district manager with the satisfaction of counting my hard earned money into this store's revenue. I am a busy physician who frequents Starbucks often 3x's a day. During Frappuchino Happy hour on 3 separate occasions I was charged full price on my Frappunchino. The young ladies (Hispanic barista and young black girl, I'm only providing this information for employee reference) inside usually seemed apologetic for over charging me and offered to compensate me for the difference. Each time I refused any complimentary items & opted to give myself a mental note to remind the next barista to be certain to charge me half priced for Starbucks card members during happy hour. May 13, 2016 was the tipping point for atrocious customer service. I kindly reminded the young female barista of the Happy Hour pricing and to be certain prior to closing out my transaction that I am only being charged half priced. The young girl stares at me and states "if it doesn't come off just go to Customer Service and get your money back". I explained to her, I'm extremely busy, don't inconvenience me while I am making you aware of a problem before hand. She responds "I'm sure it's going to take it off (implying the discount) when I scan your card, but most customers place in their safeway card before". I explain to her, if you need a safeway card could you call someone from customer service to provide that for you, as I am here solely for the purpose of Starbucks. She snarks back "just scan your card". Immediately post transaction, you guessed it, I'm charged full price. She, the barista, 'smirks' and states "it charged you $6.88(full price). This only escalated my frustration with this particular barista, as I come from a profession where we handle situations prophylactically not retroactively. I certainly wouldn't find it amusing when a patient vocalized a concern prior & offered me the opportunity to rectify or resolve the situation before hand. The fact this employee found it amusing to inconvenience customers & storm off from her work station rather than calling a manager as requested is disgusting. I am more than certain I will never be a patron of either this Safeway nor Starbucks ever again. Also, the manager/district manager should be reprimanded for allowing 85% negative reviews to go unaddressed for an extended period of time. I assume she (Rita) relies on Safeway patrons to maintain sales. But, when you hire unruly, inconsiderate, and unprofessional teenagers to maintain a store with little to no supervision, this is the outcome you receive. Business will continue to decline if loyal customers aren't treated with respect. Be aware that the lines are short but the wait is long, the supplies runs out, the employees are slow, and the beverages are subpar. I will spend my hard earned money else where. read more

This is in a Safeway and there are never enough baristas working. There is always a very long line at 7:15am which is when they should have the most customers. I would love to go in every day and spend ~$7 on a latte and a pastry but apparently they don't want my money because I have complained to Starbucks and they still won't appropriately staff this location. Instead, I get my coffee from the 7 11 (same parking lot) or the Dunkin off Montgomery village ave. never long lines there. read more
