The sesame seeds added a nice nutty kick to it. I also got the Pistachio Waffle, which was a bit disappointing because it wasn't as light and fluffy as I would've liked it. It was a bit tough to cut through and eat. The place is very Instagrammable--there's even a fake tree right in the middle of the café--but personally, I think I prefer just a normal café with regular coffee. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.
