Oh and they did mess up my mocha but no big deal -- still tasted good even though it didn't have the right pumps of chocolate. No complaints here, produced a fabulous coffee drink for me pronto. I was here on 4/1 and no joke (haha) this shop was light on traffic at noon and I zipped in and out pretty quick. I don't normally comment on Starbucks because I go there so often all over the US. Typically you know what you're getting. But I have to say that I loved this location. I met a friend here and I was so impressed by the friendly baristas and the beautiful atmosphere of this location. It's big and bright with really comfy seating. It was also refreshing to see how well the staff treated the numerous Air Force personnel who were getting coffee, presumably because of the proximity to WPAFB. Great Starbucks location! read more

I've never had a problem with this Starbucks. It's always super busy. However, they added the mobile order pickup spot that sorts the products alphabetically. Twice in one week I've waited for my order for like ten minutes or more. I ask where's my order and they find it nowhere near where my name is. How hard is it to place an order next to the assigned letter read more

Five stars for the employees and my drinks every time. Everything is clean and nice! They seem to work as fast as they can and I understand a heavy customer load in the mornings. I like their team vibe and chalkboard messaging. I always go in person; I don't use the app, so maybe it would be faster if I did. Seating area is nice but I don't stay. This is the fastest Starbucks I've ever been to! At 10 am on a Saturday morning, there was no line. The baristas were all super nice and had my drink out so fast. At first I was disappointed that they didn't have a drive through, thinking I'd have to wait in line for 15 min at least, but I was surprised and pleased with their customer service! read more

This was my first visit here, and apparently the place just re-opened after a remodeling. It says a lot that the regulars are returning. A few were there when I was and were excited to see the barista back at the store. Have to say that I was a little worried about the noise level of the store but the tea I got was some of the best that I have gotten from any Starbucks. My step daughter collects the cups that have the various states on them and as we were staying near this location, we called to see if they had any. They did not at that moment but told us to check with them first thing in the morning as they would have a delivery. So we went there the following morning and as promised they did indeed have some of the cups delivered. Needless to say, our step daughter was very happy! read more

This Starbucks continues to make my bad list. Every time. Without fail. Whether it's rude apathetic employees, lack of selection of chilled drinks (where did the Izze's go?) filthy tables left nasty while employees Facebook on the job or downright bad customer service, this Starbucks never fails to leave me with a feeling of "why the heck do I keep coming here?!" Today, after our $20 visit, we realized my 6 year old son's drink order (a cup of water!) was forgotten. Upon asking the front for it again, rather than just fetch it quickly they directed me to the drink pickup counter where they proceeded to take their good ole sweet time making (I counted) no less than four specialty drinks, plus cleaning all the blenders before getting my 6 year olds water. ...And they even got that order wrong as they called out "Two grande waters!" How can you screw that up? Seriously, I'm never coming back here! It's a sign lol. If you see me check in here one more time you have my permission to yell at me. At this Starbucks, I tend to meet the friendliest and most helpful people ever! They are quite dependable and efficient with creating drinks during my visits. Conveniently located near Wright State and Meijer, the parking lot seems smaller, but you may park beside the parking lot at Meijer and walk to the store. I always enjoy catching up on some reading or working on my laptop. The store has several wood tables and a large communal table (of approximately 8 seats), so I never have an issue finding a spot. They have two comfy chairs with a side table so that always feels nice if I need to read. It depends on my day, so I sometimes order a latte macchiato. The latte macchiato tastes bold and rich with a hint of fatty whole milk, so it is a lovely hot drink (for me). Depending on the day and time, the line gets pretty long, but it moves along quickly. It may seem like a typical Starbucks, but I find this one very inviting and comfortable. It's a great place to work on some things or hang out with a friend! read more

Oh, Colonel Glenn SBUX. It's so difficult to not be biased after working here. First of all, there is almost always a line. This is a cafe only store, so there's no drive thru to divert lazy coffee fiends. It's very close to Wright State & Wright Patterson (and little known fact), college students and military members thrive on caffeine. These people are their main clientele. The baristas are incredibly friendly and know what their doing. If you're nice and patient, they will be the same. The parking lot can be a serious pain if you come during peak (morning rush) or lunch. This SBUX is located in a strip mall with various lunch destinations that tend to occupy parking spots. The Meijer parking lot is literally right across the street. If the strip mall parking lot is filled, just park by Meijer and walk. read more

This is a great Starbucks! All of the workers here are very friendly, and their café is very inviting for someone who needs to sit for a few hours to get some work done. I could see this place being very crowded during the later hours of the week day...I'd choose this as my hang out spot to do homework, if it was closer. Just got a dark roast with a shot of espresso, poured over ice. Yes, I like motor oil. This starbucks has a serious issue with the mobile ordering. I have had 4 different times where i come into the store and order when there is nobody in line and i wait 10-15minutes for an iced coffee while they make mobile orders for people who did not order before me and are not in the store. Rule #1 of any business, you take care of the customers in the store first. Do better. read more

The staff seemed friendly enough but they weren't the quickest at making the drinks. I ordered a latte and it was mostly foam. I realize that lattes come with a dollop of foam, but it shouldn't be half the cup. There were a lot of tables and outlets so it would seem to be a great place to study except that the music is really loud so I'm not sure how you'd be able to concentrate. The one thing I don't like about this Starbucks is the way the line is set up and how you get to it when walking into the store. I always feel like I have to maneuver around people sitting down, etc. Other than that its a good Starbucks but I loathe the parking lot too. I came here for the 1st time today and I'm pretty sure that this will be my go to coffee place when I'm in Dayton. It's a small store the outlying area of a strip mall next to the Meijers. It looked like it was busy with all the cars in the parking lot, but there weren't too many people in the store. The staff was friendly and they had one person just taking orders so that our drinks could get started before we even got up to the counter. We heard staff members referring to customers by name and remembering drinks. I ordered my usual double tall, extra dry cappuccino. While they still charged me for the 2nd shot (they have to pull 2 shots anyway so why charge?), the amount of milk to foam was correct, which is usually not the case. read more

However if you're going to stop by in the morning or even late afternoon on any day of the week be prepared to have trouble parking and spending time standing in line. read more

A classic Starbucks, usually busy with students studying. It is relatively large with a good mix of seating from the counter, couches, outdoor, and tables. Not particularly impressed with this Starbucks. I have a Starbucks Gold Card and went there today to consolidate some gift cards to it. The cashier struggled and took a very long time to complete the transaction. Then after finally ordering my drinks they dropped one of them. They did make a new one and all was well, but it took a LONG time. Also, the barista was talking to her friends who were sitting at a table near by. I had a pretty typical Starbucks experience. The staff was relatively cordial, and the store seemed pretty clean. I ordered an americano and it was the usual deal. It was overly bitter and had no real espresso flavor. I watched the baristas let shots sit for much too long before adding them to drinks witch is what makes a drink bitter like that. They also put the lid on my cup in a manner that made it leak. Overall I'm never really that impressed by Starbucks in general, and this store is no different.
