Not a bad Starbucks location. Pleasant staff, good service, clean, nice environment, good location. Coffee is both not as good as, and more expensive than, a local place like Adelle's, but that's to be expected. Big advantage for me: you can pay in Bitcoin by buying a gift card through a service like eGifter or Gyft, then just use the barcode scanner. If you buy a gift card in advance (or even in line with eGifter), you'll spend less time at the register than with card or cash. I only make Bitcoin as income, so this is a huge plus for me. read more

Staff is rude. The girl who helped me made an annoyed face when she misunderstood my order and I clarified. I'm incredibly kind and smile at everyone who helps me. I work in food service and know how hard it is. But I always thank people and make them feel welcome. I gave her a couple bucks tip despite the way she treated me and she didn't say thank you. Just say thank you or smile or something. These kids needs some retraining. I'll head to Breakaway next time. read more

these mfs take their sweet ass time. literally waited 20 minutes for a damn frappuccino bc they fucked around so much

Full hours/Manning. I was told it was gonna be a 35 minute wait for a coffee in store with two other people in line at 3:47 on a Saturday. They have to hire more people. They store also closes early sometimes even before five. read more

All the labels on the drinks were all correct, but all the drinks were wrong. The service was awful. No wonder this place has 2.6 stars because this place was awful. How could they get all of our drinks wrong after we specifically told them what we wanted? Do not come to this place unless you're absolutely desperate for something. read more

I've been going to this location for years and have always experienced impeccable service.....until the last couple of months. From "Order Ahead" being shut off on the mobile app, to servers not listening and being served hot versions of a drink instead of iced or vice versa and most recently "Order Ahead" being shut off AND the lobby being locked due to "Staffing Issues". I know Starbucks offers excellent benefits and reasonable pay to employees to make their coffee so not being able to staff a Starbucks properly on a Saturday morning tells me A LOT about this generation of workers and a little bit about management. I truly hope this location turns the corner and returns to a place that enjoy getting my Saturday morning treat. Until then, I'll make the drive to Rochester! FYI, before you tell me to visit your "contact us" web page, just know that it sends you in a vicious circle with no ability to leave a comment or "message us". read more

Absolutely terrible! This location has gone from bad to worst in the last year. I understand that covid has taken its toll on everyone but there's no reason why every single time I go here, there's at least 10-15 cars in the drive thru and the wait is 20-30 minutes. Tried doing mobile order and running inside to get it, nope, still going to wait an eternity for your drink. They're also constantly out of stuff. Friendliness of the staff is hit or miss, most of the time the workers just look stressed out and over it. Maybe it's time for new management? Or maybe time for a second Starbucks in Dover to help alleviate the stress and busyness of this one? read more

Showed up to Starbucks to pick up a doordash at 11:16 the manager wouldn't make it for me even though it was due to be ready at that time she said I had to wait till it was up in the queue she then continued to take orders from people that were there and making them. Why when I'm standing there is that not like the customer I'm picking up for it is standing there and she should make my order too I literally waited 20 minutes past the time to order was ready and she was still making other people's orders and ignoring mine! I said something to her again and she said sorry you got to wait until your order comes up in the queue like I'm sorry lady you're making other people's orders right in front of me it should be up in the queue when I'm standing in front of you we're service I ever got I will never go there again and I will deny every doordash I get from that company from now on and I do over 400 orders a month I don't care how I get penalized for it I will never do another delivery for them again poor poor service read more

We waited 45 minutes in line for 3 drinks, with the staff just standing around with no sense of urgency. 2 of the drinks were wrong. The manager was overwhelmed and should have stopped taking orders until they caught up. Very disorganized and disappointed in service. read more

I will make this as short as possible! My clients and Myself ordered ahead through the app like we do every day without any issues until today! Once up to the speaker DT told the person taking our order that we had ordered ahead and her reply in a TONE I DO NOT SEE YOUR ORDER asked for my name Brenda I even spelled it out for her TWICE you must have ordered at a different Starbucks. NO, I then read the screen from my phone correct place. Well, she responded I don't see your order my reply we will check again when I get to the window. I show her my phone then her RUDE reply you said your name started with a V! We all replied no she clearly said TWICE, BRENDA. I then asked why so rude she turns to me and says with hands in the air WHAT! I then asked to speak to her manager she said she didn't have one there I said then give me your DM or Corp number. She then taps a girl next to her and says you can talk to her. I asked why so rude (both of you) and the supervisor/manager says no body is being rude I have been standing here the whole time, and NO ONE has been rude. (OH, and our drinks had been sitting there this whole time with our names on them) and NOT made correctly and no one thought to ask us. When I asked for Corp number again, she said YOU can look it up and shut the window and walked away. We come here almost every day with clients' parents Special Needs Adults etc. Never have we been treated so badly. Your typical Starbucks - located very close to the Hampton Inn where we were staying. They have a Drive Thru - we I never use. Inside, there is a decent amount of seating. Typical Starbucks, good options and you can order on the app to save time before you arrive.

I strongly dislike this Starbucks. Every single time I have gone to this one the wait is ridiculous. The drive thru line is extreme and the wait inside is just as bad. Don't bother placing a Mobil order beciase it either won't be ready or no one will make eye contact with you when you get there. Walking into this Starbucks got a Mobil order you'd think would be quick. NOPE. NO ONE WILL MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH YOU OR Aknowledge YOUR EXISTANCE!!!!!! It is infuriating. Each time I have been to this specific Starbucks in 2020 to current I have waited in line (both the drive through and inside) for a minimum of 10 minutes, usually longer. My Mobil order has not been ready when going inside, the staff looks visibly stressed out, they are out of specific items (usually something we ordered), and again there is one to acknowledge your presence beciase they all appear to be distressed. Today they were out of cold brew but didn't acknowledge this on their Mobil app - they subbed gross iced coffee instead. My fiancé ordered his usual beverage and his was also disgusting. They only had one of the two pastries we ordered. It was 9:30 in the morning. I have never had a good experience here and this was my last time. I did briefly behave like a Karen and was ashamed of myself. I was trying to not personalize my annoyance AT the poor kid who was the bearer of bad news as I imagine having to tell people they don't have what they ordered all day must suck. Please get better management or provide better training- the Starbucks on Woodbury Ave in Portsmouth has always been phenomenal and they deserve an award for their customer service! read more

I'm really impressed with how this location has turned around. The line doesn't seem to be a big problem anymore, and the service has been turned up quite a bit. Back in March, this location was pretty much as bad as you could get. Thanks to new management, though, I will say that I will once again be visiting this location. read more

This location has so much potential but it's operations and facility management brings this review down to one star. I'm genuinely so confused why it ALWAYS takes at least 10 minutes to get anything from this place. It doesn't matter if you do a mobile order, order in store or go through the drive through, there will always be a long wait. This location also is always running out of items early in the morning. Again poor operations management, how can you run out of cold brew, pastries and sandwiches at 8am? This location is perfect for a successful Starbucks. Right in the hub of some shopping centers and off exits for commuters. It's a shame that they have such low quality service. They need a driven manager to turn this place around. read more

This Starbucks location at Week's Crossing is a convenient place for myself and my coworker to stop for coffee & tea breaks during our field visits in the area. My older coworker always makes a beeline to the restroom in the back before ordering his hot tea. The staff here is friendly and they converse with their customers. The coffee brewed here (Pike and Dark Roast) is what I'd get at a typical Starbucks. There is table seating towards the front of the store area where we can sit and chillax while sipping our drinks and using the free wifi. Sometimes the place is busy (late morning) and every table in the store may be occupied. Back to the truck! read more

I'm beginning to love starbucks less and less. First I loved the older versions of tea. Bring back the camomile! As far as this SB goes, it's your average SB. Nothing too special about it. There should be more comfortable chairs for social meetings. Also, after visiting the SB in Bangor, ME, I feel that every SB should have a fireplace that can be seen from 2 sides. On a plus, the staff are always very friendly! read more

Bullet point review: -Fly was near me and it was not the first time to happen -Waited to buy food before reviewing -Bought a blueberry scone; barely any taste of blueberry -Like the coffee the scone was overpriced but not nearly as good -Lattes beat the shit out of Dunkin' Donuts; very consistent across franchise -You could argue you pay a premium for better quality coffee, but when I get a buffet for the cost of one Venti latte it's too much -Welcoming setting with comfy chairs, free wi-if and relaxing music -...yet I still feel like a pretentious, hipster douche bag siting with my tablet and other people on their MacBooks -Mostly young staff, pleasant and seem to have good communication -Customers also seem more diverse than expected, but still many typical 20 and 30-year-olds UPDATE: New blueberry scone is really good! read more

Worst starbucks location, customer service is awful and even worse if you don't tip the workers they get nasty with you.

The Worst customer service ever!!!! They look to see if you gave them a tip before they say thank you. No tip ... and you get handed your drink and see a nasty face and they turn right around. I've been twice now when I've ordered, stood waiting for my drink while people kept getting theirs ahead of me. I looked at a girl that was standing next to me who commented it sure was taking them a long time, she had been there for awhile too. Finally when the girls back there had stopped making drinks & just talking to each other, I went up & asked about mine? She actually responded rudely like I was bothering her, she was busy? Started asking me what I ordered, size, everything. They didn't even have the order? She said they didn't have and kind of computer system giving them the orders?? Sorry but this is the second time I have had miserable service there. Portsmouth is just as close for me. Won't be back. read more

I went with my friends to the dover starbucks and went through the drive through. When first pulled up to the drive through the voice in the intercom told us to wait for a moment. We then proceeded to wait for around 5 minutes, during that time we were chatting with each other and laughing. When the voice over the intercom said they were ready to take our order, the person ordering was laughing as she was ordering. Yet every time my friend would start to order something the woman would cut her off and not let her finish any of her sentences. Once my friend finished ordering we moved to the second window where we had to wait another 5 minutes to get our food. Then a male barista with red hair and a beanie gave us our drinks and food and then said to us "do you want to know a secret? we can hear everything you said. I hope you had fun." This comment made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. We felt uncomfortable in the fact that they were listening to our conversations and then felt the need to comment about them. Overall I had a terrible excuse and do not feel safe to return to this starbucks. read more

Horrible service!!! I went today with my friends through the drive-thru around 4pm, and the service was terrible. We got to the ordering screen and they told us one second and then we proceeded to wait five minutes. so naturally, as friends do, we're chit chatting while we wait, laughing, and talking and discussing what we want. When the barista finally comes on and takes our order, she cuts us off everytime we say an item we want, and talked extremely fast and was not nice at all. Then, we get up to the window and a barista who has red hair and is wearing a beanie says "Want to know a secret?, we can hear everything you guys are saying when you're near the screen" which first of all is so creepy, also so rude, and just weird. Then he goes "so i hope you guys had a good time". like what???? the whole experience was just very unpleasant and rude and we don't even know why he said that or why they were all listening in on our conversation yet not taking our order and making us wait. Horrible experience. read more

Love my Starbucks! My pugs love it when Tina is working since she usually gives them little treats. They are usually very quick my order and its usually correct. This location is extremely busy for the size. The staff are efficient and as quick as they can be handling the volume of customers they do daily. This store has constant traffic. I definitely recommend ordering ahead. This location is so busy even mobile order is slowing up andhave longer wait times. It has nothing to do with the staff though. There just needs to be another location in Dover to handle the demand. NEED ANOTHER STARBUCKS!!! Downtown would be nice but definitely need another store for demand. There are D&D on every corner! I went to the target Starbucks and I asked for a hot chestnut prailene latte. I couldn't try it right away because it was hot, so i left the store and when I tried it later it was just a hot coffee, not a latte. I went to this Starbucks afterwords looking to get it fixed. I waited 30 minutes in a line that you don't even have the option to get out of. Then they tell me I have to drive back ti the other location if I want it fixed. I ended up just paying for another because I didn't want ti spend an hour on one coffee that should have been a simple fix. They deserve 1 star. We just waited in line for 20 minutes in drive thru to be told they closed early. (3pm it was 3:05) because of staffing issues. I understand it's hard to stay open with limited staff however... the manager on duty that made the call should have come out and told everyone in line. Instead they let everyone wait until they got to the window. There's a line to the road. When I called I was told their managers instructed them not to put a sign up!? Probably bc they don't want evidence that they closed early, they don't want anyone writing to corporate with a picture. I've always thought Starbucks had great customer service until now. I will never go back to this location again because it's the principle and I will contact corporate to let them know what happened. And I will got to different coffee shops now. read more

Worst starbucks i've been too....The ladies didn't have their hair tied which is VERY unsanitary for a food environment. Secondly, my drink was poorly made and not shaken.
