So I walked into this Starbucks....There's a guy. Standing at the counter waiting to order.....3 Employees standing insight behind the counter....self absorbed...I guess my standing in line prompted Jalen to come over and wait on us... though I couldn't hear the conversation being made, as he was speaking to the gentleman in front of me he rolls his eyes- without a smile. They've renovated this Starbucks and I think it looks fantastic! This is a modern, clean location that's convenient to the airport. The baristas are a mix of friendly through to curt, but it's a busy store and they're overworked. I LOVE that Starbucks no longer up-charges for nondairy milks. If she slow down and read and make the drinks properly there would be no issues. Even the car before me were giving back 2 drinks. Mine was the weakest Hot tall, soy chai, no water I ever tasted. I actually hung out at this Starbucks near Denver international airport for three hours because I didn't wanna hang out at my hotel room. It was meant to be a quick pick up a drink but I ended up staying because it was largely empty on a Sunday afternoon and I always enjoy the vibe and ambiance of Starbucks. I arrived here after spending my lunchtime literally next-door at the Vietnamese restaurant Pho 92. And I wanted iced tea to smooth things out for dinner. I entered around 3 PM, but did not leave until 5:30pm. During that time, I ordered a brownie and a Trenta black tea lemonade. I noticed that prices here are cheaper (enough) than other markets like Honolulu. But not by much though, but still cheaper. With that said, I found the ambience very inviting here, and the practically empty restaurant and bar seating was very inviting to spend some time on the Wi-Fi, browsing social media and while doing some reviews on Yelp to kill time. The mood was awesome and quiet. I ended up actually doing very well with the reviews and it was a nice quiet moment even though I was on vacation I choose to sit at a Starbucks. Didn't have a car, but I chose Starbucks. It was basically free, even though I paid for a drink and a brownie. The seating was very comfortable, and I really enjoyed myself, even though it was at a Starbucks. I choose to be frugal during this time, so it was nice to decompress from my current trip here to Denver, Colorado, knowing that I had to go home tomorrow on an airplane. It is what it is and happy for myself coming here to get that mental shift going. The vibe and ambience at Starbucks always put me in a better mood. Since usually sometimes they will play self House music and that helps me with the reviews. I am writing on Yelp. The over experience here at the Starbucks, near Denver international airport, was very nice and welcoming. I enjoyed the service here, which was typical yet friendly, and great at the same time. The drinks that they have are typical and I normally don't drink coffee anyway so I prefer the teas and lemonades. It's always the same formula anyway so you get what you get and it taste great as always. The restaurant itself is clean and definitely well managed by the staff at Starbucks. During my time here at Starbucks, I would see customers come in and go ordering and pick up their mobile orders. It was nice to people watch, and guess what kind of profession they were in or what kind of day they were having before they got to the Starbucks. Between my reviews and sipping my Starbucks drink, it felt right to be here even though I was on vacation especially because I am a budget traveler and don't try to overspent on vacation. Best bet is to come here early enough to secure a spot before the lunch or dinner begins. For the most part, though, it is enjoyable here at Starbucks particularly if it's not crowded and you can get a spot to do work or read or whatever on your mobile device, and or laptop. While having a drink of your choice, it is gratifying to know that Starbucks can be that Library if they choose to or not any trouble or whatever. That's what I like about Starbucks. You cannot buy anything and still here for a time and not be kicked out.. Usually. As far as public transportation goes, I'm not sure if there is transportation services to from the airport to this Starbucks location. Best bet is to get a rental car or Uber, and Lyft can be of service too. No matter how good or bad day you have, Starbucks can be there for you with a quick pick me up with your cubbies Ortiz. It may just be your sweet to talking, but they have pretty awesome munchies and sweet treats to satisfy you. I came in for an afternoon drink and was greeted at the register promptly..THAT is the GOOD part of this review.. After ordering, i was walking around, just waiting for my order to be completed. There were 4 employees. And each time one of them started talking, they stopped working on whatever they were working on, at that time, to engage in conversation. Now it was not busy by any means. And i am not complaining about employee conversations in the work place..but keep working! My drink took twice as long to prepare due to this.."distraction"..for lack of a better word. After my order was complete, they put it on the counter..WITHOUT saying anything. I am not a regular SB patron- Is this normal? I feel that the employee should have said something. But that's just me. Like i mentioned previously, there were 4 employees. ALL of which had their phones in their hands when not doing "work"..aka their JOB! The reason i worded it this way; ALL the empty tables were dirty. I had to ask for someone to clean one off for me. All of the napkin holders were also empty. Once again, i had to ask for napkins at the counter (as the napkin holders were at a different location). To which the employee that was closest to me..just pointed over there..without looking..and muttered.."they are over there". To which i went and picked up said empty napkin holder and brought it back to the counter. All the employees just looked at me like i was an idiot. I said "they are all empty". The employees absolutely just do not care here. I ordered two warm cheese danishes and a venti mocha. I was the only person in line, with no one in the drive thru and everyone else 4-5 customer all had their orders. It took 10 minutes to get mine. As I was early to work I sat down to enjoy my food and drink. I watched as customers filed in one by one and were ignored. Then as the employees began to make orders there was a huge commotion because the wrong drinks were made. One employee went on to say quietly loudly that she does not get paid enough to deal with this. The employees began laughing constantly making jokes about all the things they messed up and continued to ignore the fact that we could hear them. Where was the manager in all this? Awesome store! The associates are very friendly and the best part?The hours! Open Mon.-Sat: 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m Sun.: 4:30-9:30 Located on Tower Road and 69th, across from DiCiccio's restaurant and near an airport hotel area. My other half and I LOVE a "nightcap" of our favorite Chai tea Latte The later the better for us and this location helps us out,LOL. The decor is clean, crisp and the space is large. Counter seating is great because there is actually room for your drink,snacks and laptops. I love that they have a large selection of goodies, cups,mugs,etc. to purchase and peruse while I wait for my drink. What surprised me is that this location serves beer. We haven't tried it yet, but next visit I just might be tempted. There's a drive thru and outdoor seating. This should be a wonderful place when it warms up a bit and my other half and I switch over to iced chai tea . I guess I should start by saying I live nearby, so I frequent this place(used to). What a nightmare this place is becoming. Just waited 30+ minutes for a drink. When it was handed to me it was the incorrect drink and incorrect size. By the time I got the actual drink I ordered the ice was already melting and the vanilla flavoring was separated from the Drink. I just feel bad for the employees because I've gone inside several times as well and see a lack of leadership from the supervisor lady, using negativity and "don't even start me" so many times to their colleagues. My husband and I go to this Starbucks almost every weekend and we never really had any issues with our orders until today. He ordered me, my favorite frap which is a green tea frap with caramel drizzle but it came out disgusting! It looked like the barista dumped a whole can of matcha in the drink and tried to cover up the mess by double cupping the drink! I'm extremely disappointed because i never had this happened to me and we discovered it when he brought the drink home to me and I tried it. Worst place ever!!! Health hazard! A nightmare for customer service!!! Walked into the store, no line, three employees working on the shift, but nobody greeted me for a good FIVE minutes. Five minutes later, someone came by the counter to take my order, ordered a drink and a sanwhich, then I notice a school of flies trapped in their food display window, and even more flies everywhere in the shop having a party. I lost my appetite immediately. I don't want to make a scene, so I whispered to the barista if she noticed all the flies feeding on the sanwhiches and pastries there. She simply relied like it is nothing:"oh, don't worry, we only display those food items." Wow, I dropped my jaw. Even the shift manager was like oh, this is NORMAL, no biggy!!! IN SUCH A UNSANITARY PLACE YOU MAKE FOOD AND DRINKS FOR PEOPLE! IT IS A VIOLATION OF HEALTH CODE! PLEASE HAVE PEST CONTROL! GOD KNOWS WHAT OTHER INSECTS ARE WANDERING AROUND AND LAYING EGGS ON THE FOOD WE ARE ABOUT TO EAT! Another 10 minutes wait later, I got my drink( I had nothing else to do but to see all those flies kept bothering the customers around and they were waving their hands repeatedly trying to get rid of them, and those hungry flies feeding on the food there seem to have a really good time), and I still asked for my sanwhich (yeah, doubt I dare to eat it), she said "just give me a second". I saw her paged someone else afterwards, and another girl came to take a sanwhich out of a freezer, and started microwaving. A few minutes later, I finally got it. It was a bit mind-blowing to me how awful my experience was there. I travel just about every weekend and visit Starbucks all across the country. Until today, at this location, I have never been so disappointed in the service, attitudes and management of a Starbucks. There were at least 6 baristas with headsets, no one in the drive through and 1 person waiting when I walked in. Yet, I stood at the register for about 3 minutes waiting to be served while workers were standing or walking past me, with no acknowledgement. When I was finally helped approx 10:30 am, the cashier was obviously not equipped to handle the job, but she was allowed to still work at that station. She was unfamiliar with menu, not aware if they had things in stock.... I asked for sugar in my coffee and she didn't know if they had SUGAR!! They were out of the sandwich I wanted, so I settled for a different one. They seem to be out of several menu items, which is shocking that early in the morning. So the meal I settled on, she ended up giving to the only other customer that was there. When I asked where my sandwich was, she said she put it out and someone took it. I said "There's no one here." She said "That family took it." The family that was sitting there still waiting for the rest of their order. I then reminded her and the other staff workers that I actually watched her hand it to them, not knowing at the time it was my order. Unfortunately, that was the last ham sandwich. They did give me a refund.... but even that took 3 conversations with Co-workers. Management should be well aware of the complete disorganization at his location. When I asked if there was a manager working the young lady, maybe 20/21yrs old, told me she was the manager. Being young is no excuse, I know plenty of 21 years old that could run and manage, but this manager, said she was new (again, no excuse). I couldn't even drink my coffee there, because it was too heartbreaking to sit there and watch the mismanagement of a coffee chain that I really enjoy and serves me well as I travel the country. read more

Ordered a Toasted white chocolate mocha Frapp blended coffee but was given a Toasted white chocolate Creme Frapp. When I asked why it doesn't look like the photo (missing red sprinkles, missing mocha) barista looked at me and said it depends on who makes it. She can't even tell the difference between the two when I tested her knowledge of the difference. Not the first time the service is subpar. I'm always encouraged to order via their app but it's frustrating when the orders are always messed up 4 out of 10. Need to train their staff more. Scanned the code, location: unable to take your order, please pick a different location. So we called and explained that we were out front and unable to order via app. The girl working had no solution for the situation, we asked "well can we walk thru the drive thru?", and she replied with "normally I'd say yes, but with covid contact regulations..." *scratching my head* thinking: drive thru, walk thru? Do you ever sit near someone who is on a phone call in a public area whose voice overpowers everyone in the area, and you can hear them word for word over the ambient noise around you? I don't know about you, but it's kind of rude in my humble opinion, and think people need to know how to read the room and converse appropriately. I understand that remote work is here to stay, but open/loud/invasive conversation is just not right. It's called manners. Anyway, in this case, some regional Starbucks manager sat at a table on a Starbucks business call and over all of the generally elevated noise in this location on Tower Road near the Denver Airport, this Starbucks employee got on multiple calls where she was overheard over all of the rest of the tables there. I dont want to hear about your water heater/plumbing problems, and no one else does either. her coffee patrons who were in front of her, where her voice was projecting were clearly annoyed by her conversation. My friend and I stopped at Starbucks around 8:20pm. The female working the drive thru took our order but it never got entered it in the system. She tried to make our drinks from memory only to mess the whole order up. When confronted she acted like she had done the order correctly. She then asked us to hold on and got another female involved. The second female came to the window and asked if the other female rang us up. We tried to explain what had happened only to rudely be asked if we would rather go to another Starbucks because all she wanted to know was if the previous person rang us up. Worst Starbucks I've ever seen. Four girls working, never more than 6 customers in the place. No napkins, Splenda or sugar and the trash was full. Everyone had to wait a long time for drinks and food. One lady in front of me was forgotten, when she got her drink the lid wasn't on and it went everywhere, the barista ignored her and the cashier finally got her some napkins to wipe her arm off. 15 minutes later I reminded one of the girls there was still coffee on the floor. This is hands down the best Starbucks I've been to in the world (Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Bahahamas etc.) Let alone in the states. The atmosphere is amazing. But what really sets this location apart is the team. Their customer service is amazing. Sat down to relax after an early flight and just catch up on news and had the privilege of not only receiving great customer service, but watching great service given drink after drink ensuring that every drink served was perfect. When the Starbucks opened it was the best. Recently it's become the worst. Today we ordered two chai teas with seven pumps and when we came to the window the girl had ice drinks ready. I politely stated that we did not ask for ice, and she got an attitude. We parked up front and waited for our hot chai's. The gal walked out and I asked her which one had oats milk and which one had 2% she wasn't quite sure. After tasting our drinks which seem to be mostly water we drove up to the window and stated that it did not nuance 7 pumps. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a Starbucks. Not one person made eye contact with me or my brother when we entered and stood in front of the counter, had a lengthy conversation while we waited for service help only to find someone getting helped at the other register where a line had formed. This is my second review. We have been sitting in the drive through for approximately 10 minutes plus. Yeah... the drive through and it isn't busy at all! Over heard the employee tell the car in front of us that they no longer sell bananas with a long dragged out explanation as of why. Nine times out of ten when I come here on my way home they are out of something and its usually the drink I want which is either the Nitro or Strawberry Acai. I will just have to drive out of my way I guess. Oh... my first review mentioned the night club volume of hip hope music. Well, Christmas Eve we came by and it was even louder than in the past, and I was served a severely burnt coffee drink. It was undrinkable. We finally got to the window nearly 15 later and the guy gave us the drink for free due to the wait. I wonder how often that occurs. read more
