I'm giving two stars, the drink was just okay, Carmel Ribbon Crunch, it was really just liquid. But the two stars were mainly because of the attitude of the employee. We always ask for our bread slices to remain in the sealed bag, unopened or heated. The server seemed to get annoyed, and I don't understand why. Is there a problem getting the bread unopened, is this an issue? The line outside was super long and it was very quiet inside. I've been to this Starbucks a few times & will preface this by saying if you go during a promotion (e.g. BOGO drinks), expect to wait at least an extra 10-15 minutes than normal. Both of my drinks are frequent favorites of mine & the barista were very sweet about fixing them to my liking despite the crazy busy line they had. I appreciate that they take the time to ensure you're satisfied with your order regardless of how busy they may be. This is one of the smaller stores with no inside seating so if you're looking to study or relax, be prepared to sit outdoors on the patio. There are limited outlets, but a few tables with umbrellas so it's still comfortable on a milder day. The restrooms are kept clean & I love that they have a lot of merchandise to pick through even though the store space is limited. Overall, a great location & one of the only free standing ones in the area so I will continue to stop, but will definitely order ahead on promotion days to avoid the crowd! read more

For some reason this Starbucks coffee taste different than any other. Coffee tastes burnt or something. Last 3 times We were at the beach SAME THING, everyone noticed(5people to be exact)..Will not stop by here anymore, coffee at home tastes better. But I hope they improve and figure out the problem! read more

Simple location right by the beach, over the intracoastal. The drinks are pretty standard here like many locations, so this is strictly regarding this particular location. Pleasantly quick line and quick to receive drinks. There are two bathrooms (gender specific) and plenty of seating available. This is a standalone location that appears to be pretty new. read more

Staff in the afternoon /evenings are young, rude individuals with no respect for anyone! An elderly person spilled his drink and they refused to help him, so a couple of us helped. They also refused to serve a first responder because he parked near the door. This was in the slow evening with only a few people inside and 3 cars in the parking lot. read more

Friendly staff, quick service in the mornings! They have my iced match made perfectly everyday and they're so fast! I know with covid it's been hard for everyone but they sure know how to make ur day better and put a smile on your face! Nice new store with a very clean look. The coffee is the same - delicious and the service was very good when I visited. We had our usual Venti Blond with Coconut milk and a tall Blond with cream. Literally the nastiest experience i've ever had at a starbucks ! I am a daytona resident and come to this location every now and then but today stopped me from ever coming again. I went through the drive thru and asked for 2 drinks . grande Triple 1% mocha and a hot chocolate with water ( sister doesn't consume dairy ). That was it! nothing confusing . I get to the window and they asked for confirmation that the hot chocolate had water . I confirmed and we got both our drinks ! The workers were sweet and no issue. As i'm pulling out , i sip the mocha and it literally tastes like plain coffee . Not a mocha at all. However it wasn't a big deal. i parked and went inside because a line was formed . I go inside and i am literally waiting for 5 minutes until i finally spoke up. There was 5 workers and none of them asked what i needed . I spoke to 1 nice employee that i asked for a mocha and received the wrong drink because this tasted like black coffee . I was friendly and just explained throughly . It wasn't a big deal i just wanted the right drink . Another employee whips around from the girl i was speaking to , takes off her headsets and starts telling me that she's the one who made the drink and she made it exactly how i asked . I was in shock how she came off . She became SUPER defensive. I told her that i wasn't doubting who made the coffee i just wanted the right drink that's all! She kept saying that , that's how mochas are made and that's how they taste . So they taste like black coffee??? no they don't lol i told her that i'd been drinking mochas forever now and this isn't how they taste. I kept trying to end the convo but then she started diving into how mochas are made and that she did the job fine basically . I felt so gaslit! She tried to deny my claim that it wasn't tasting correct how i ordered . I kept correcting her NO, this isn't the right drink can i please just get a regular mocha . Then she goes " you wanted hot water in the coffee right?" and i almost laughed and was like no ! the hot chocolate had the water. so there i identified that it was a mix up.. but that's ok! i wasn't angry !! all i wanted was a new drink ! finally after we argued for several minutes in front of other customers and drive thru customers , she finally makes the drink over and it came out perfect ! just as a mocha tastes . i say thank you and leave but now i actually am angry and never will come back . This job is definitely not for her !! i read several other reviews about these employees being defensive when it came to incorrect drinks . It's not a big deal! just make the drink over ! no one is mad . Customer service is not her forte . she did not have to come off hard like that . Especially coming from their location!! There are tons of tourists and she gives starbucks a terrible name being rude like that for no reason. Apologize and re make the drink . When I went to this Starbucks I got almond milk in my drink because I'm highly allergic to milk and the girl made my drink in one of the dairy containers and so I asked if she made it with almond milk and she was very rude about it. I don't see why it's so hard to make a non dairy drink in the non dairy containers. read more

What a shame, this Starbucks was our favorite place to visit each Saturday and Sunday. Not any more, the store has been sliding down hill for the past few months. On our last visit yesterday 8th August 2019 at around 1pm we found the place filthy, the trash cans were full and spilling onto the condiment table which was covered in waste tea and coffee. My wife and I watched as a member of staff took out the trash and replaced the trash bags not even bothering to clean the filth on the prep area. We saw food on the tables and chairs and waste food all over the floor. No excuse for this filth Starbucks you had ( Had ) a lovely store but my wife and I are not willing to get sick over a breakfast at this business. What a shame :( read more

Lindsey is very rude! I was surprised to find out that she was one of the managers. I ordered two drinks and she accidentally made the wrong drink. I was confused because the name was similar to what I ordered and I wasn't sure if Starbucks changed the name. When I asked her if the drink was mine, she looked at me confused. I repeated the question because I did not know if it was somebody else's order. She immediately got frustrated and said what kind of drink it was. I kept my cool and simply stated, " I don't think that is what I ordered" and she raised her voice, started talking to me like I was stupid, and acted like that was what I ordered. I told her what I ordered for the 5th time and she realized she made the wrong drink. She had a different barista make my drink and stormed off to the back. Very unprofessional attitude, could have been handled much better just by simply staying calm. After all, is it not Starbucks' policy to make the drink perfect and to the customers satisfaction? I will never go there again. I live beachside and pass this store everyday on my way to work. I would rather drive the extra few miles to the one on Harvey. I don't know what to say about this location. I pass it every day going to and from home in Ponce Inlet. I like Starbucks, the quality is pretty consistent. However, this location seems to be extremely sporadic. I go here at least four to five times a week. It's not uncommon for them to forget an item, or not include something as simple as napkins or a knife when placing an order. That's all good when you're just ordering a cup of coffee but when you're ordering coffee and something to eat a fork and a knife is very helpful, especially a napkin to wipe your face. Nevertheless it's quite convenient, grwat ambience and the staff is super friendly so no complaints there. This starbucks sucks! I love starbucks and I live in Ponce Inlet so this is the closest one. I've never had problems but today I had many. First of all when I got to the microphone to order the barista taking the orders was very rude. Secondly, when I was the next person to get my order I had my window rolled down and the girl at the window was very rude to the people in front of me. When it was mine turn to get my order she was rude to me as well. I ordered a venti iced matcha green tea lemonade and they gave me the wrong thing. They gave me a matcha green tea latte which is an understandable mix up. I went back and this time I went inside and they screwed it up again. When I told the barista who made my drink that this wasn't what I ordered she was super defensive and impolite. My first two times at this location everything was really good. This was my 3rd time, and the barista had to have been new, and didn't know or understand what she was doing, so was clearly frustrated. That's okay, she is learning, but she got everything wrong even when we went over it three times.....then when paying using my card, I had a small balance on one and wanted to get rid of it first, she did the exact opposite, because she did NOT listen to me, and I was polite and calm. When they were preparing my order, there was still some confusion, they switched cup sizes once, and when the froth milk for the Latte wasn't enough to fill more than half the cup size, they frothed more milk, but it was NOT hot, so my Cafe Latte was luke warm when I got to my car, and I came home and reheated. Not just one barista wasn't paying attention, but two. They were semi busy. The nurse in front of me, they got her order wrong twice, and she finally gave up and just took what they handed her and left. She was coming off a long shift. I went through drive thru and as I came to the window the cashier had handed me my bag and I looked through tell her that I didn't see one of the things I order but she insisted it was in the bag.
