Winn-Dixie grocery stores have been around since 1925 and although I don't frequent this grocer very often there are times when I come here when Publix doesn't have what I'm looking for - on this day I was looking for one rack of St. Louis Style Pork Ribs. Fortunately they had a pretty good selection on hand, unfortunately I had to buy two racks being there was a BOGO going on and the single racks were priced at $32.00 each so it was a no brainer to grab a free one so now I have one for later I guess, on this day I would of preferred to pay $16.00 for a single rack and been on my way so they are clever in that way but still haven't convinced me to return except for my annual or so visit. I also picked up a loaf of French Bread from the bakery it was half the cost of what I normally pay at the other place but it wasn't close to the same quality but I guess there is value in shopping here especially if you have kids who are eating you out of house and home. Normally grocery stores located directly across the street from each other provides some competition but this store doesn't seem to have an impact on the prices on the place on the other side of Highway 44 - I guess each grocer have their own set of loyal customers and that's okay I'm sure I'll return when necessary...

The owner a man and woman didn't think anything of the wet leash and are currently shopping after holding the soiled leash. I hope you enjoy dog urine on your fruits and vegetables. Talked to the employees and the man with long hair didn't seem to care or say he would do anything about it.

In my experience, this market is unwelcoming to minorities and operates with a level of hostility and unprofessionalism that has no place in a community space. The attitude I encountered was rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. Instead of the warm, inclusive environment you'd expect from a farmers' market, I was met with behavior that felt biased and exclusionary. It was clear that respect was not extended equally, and that alone is enough to ensure I will never return. A farmers' market should represent community, diversity, and mutual respect. This one failed on all fronts. Until the organizers address how minorities are treated and hold vendors and staff to basic standards of professionalism and decency, I strongly advise others to spend their money elsewhere. Florida has plenty of markets that actually value all people--this is not one of them.

It's a great store with good prices on produce, cheeses, fresh meats. It has a nice bakery section. So when I head Perinne's opened a store in NSB, I was looking forward to shopping there. Unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment. The NSB location is no where near the quality of the Port Orange location. I know it is new, but unless they make some upgrades in the quality and look of the store, I will not be back. So disappointed.
