Stopped by this Starbucks location because I was on a quest to try the new banana bread cold foam. The first location about 5 minutes north ran out of banana bread powder but luckily this location had it available, and it did not disappoint! For starters, the drive/thru line was a bit long; as one would expect at 8:15am on a weekday. But there was plenty of parking as this seemed to be the only store in that section of the shopping center that was open at that time of day. Upon entering the store I was greeted by one of the baristas, and throughout my visit every interaction I had with the employees was very pleasant. They were all very kind and happy. There were a few customers sitting both inside and outside of the store and the music wasn't very loud so this location is great to work or just hang out and grab a drink or snack with a friend. Overall a pretty good experience at this location and I would recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a Starbucks fix! read more

This Starbucks is pretty consistent. Staff is nice and they have regulars that come in and out often. It can get super busy during the morning rush when EVERYONE wants their morning coffee fix. Lol. I love Starbucks during the holidays. They have such festive items for sale. Loving the cute little Starbucks ornaments. They're also doing a collab with Wicked at this time so you can find select themed items at your location. I save up my Starbucks rewards for mugs or tumblers now. It's not worth it to use the rewards towards coffee drinks or food anymore. I will say Starbucks has a wonderful selection of nice mugs and tumblers and I usually wait it out for the ones I really really want. Spent the money, want to reap the rewards. I have several in my personal collection and the quality is super nice. I snagged a beautiful modern abstract art wide mug on this recent visit. I've been eyeing it as a potential. Wish it was a tall and thin mug but I can make the wide mug work. It's so pretty to look at. We got the mug and a breakfast sandwich. I love all the breakfast food options here. The Impossible breakfast sandwich is actually tasty! Love love love all the sous vide egg bites. Did you know you can buy those at Costco or Sam's Club too? This location is not very crowded whenever I come here. Service is slow and not always the friendliest. I always get the Pike's Peak coffee. It is fresh and high quality. Sometimes it is not served hot enough. I like their breakfast items. They have a rotating group of them. My favorite is the cheese box. The cheese is delicious and just the right size for breakfast or a snack. One good thing is this location is always clean. read more

My breakfast wasn't the issue. The issue was that the waitress was very slick with the order. I pointed out on the menu exactly what I wanted but she gave me half of my order incorrect. So then she took that half back to the kitchen, and 5 minutes later she gives me what I ordered in the first place. The main problem was that the freaking bill was much higher than it should've been. I asked her why it was higher than it should be and she says that she did had the first bill canceled and corrected it. In my thought, I said forget it, whatever. Girls at the drive thru are incredibly rude and make capricious requests. I'm 9 months pregnant and I ordered on mobile app to make it easier for them for the customizations since I cannot have caffeine. The app was glitching so the order took a while to process while I was driving there. It went through and said 4-7 minutes. There were only 2 cars ahead of me and I let them know I was picking up but told them the app was having issues so they might have just gotten my order that I had no issue if it's not yet ready. Mind you there was no one behind me. The girl on the order receiver already had an attitude saying twice that I shouldn't have done that, that I would have to wait. Don't know how I could've prevented the app issues, but alright. I said it's ok. Not a problem. No one was behind me anyway. Once I got to the window after the 2 cars in front of me left 4 minutes had already passed and a huge line started pouring in behind me. The girls at the window refused to give me my drink when I was within my pickup window and an insane line was already forming. They wanted me to go back around and get in the back of the line of all the cars that arrived after my 4-7 minute window. What if I had ordered at the window when I pulled in? That's what they would have done to me? Make me go back into a newly formed line? I could see my drink behind them. But it was clear they wanted to prove a point. I was very upset, 9 months pregnant and getting this attitude. I asked for a refund and they told me they couldn't give me one! No one would answer then what would they have done if I ordered at the window. A girl in the back felt sorry for me and said guys just give her her drink, it's here. They finally gave up trying to punish me for no reason and gave me my drink. Awful and disgusting service for anyone especially an expectant mother. This was our second Starbuck's stop today. When we stopped at the Starbuck's at Griffin and University, the drive through line snaked around the building. So off we went to another location. There was hardly any wait at this Starbucks drive through. The server was patient and friendly as we ordered. The main purpose of our outing was to get our puppy Dolly her first Puppacino. Success! Dolly loved her "drink" and probably would have eaten the cup had we not stopped her. I see many Starbucks runs with Dolly in our future! read more

This location is a hit or miss. Most of the time you have to wait quite a while to get your drink , even if you order it on the app they won't make it until you are there. It has gone a lot better but there was some days that they would open or close at random hours due to short staffing. This location is next to a target and in some occasions I rather go inside target and order my drink from the target location. The inside is clean and they have indoor and outside sitting. read more

The Strawberry Acai Refresher is really good. Service is usually pretty fast unless you order warm food then that usually adds about 5 minutes to your wait time . Other than that the the service is spot on. They got free Wi-Fi in-store pickup or drive thru service. With seating inside and out. Usually 5 star but today the car in front took over 10 minutes to get there order which caused the ice to melt and water down my drinks. read more

This Starbucks is very nice. It has a drive thru but I decided to walk in and order. Very helpful employees abe very nice music playing to order by. Very courteous! Ordered my egg whites bites and clack coffee and bagel with cream cheese to go! All were excellent! Gave some of it to my daughter! Sat outside and had my coffee while I waited to go see my daughter's volleyball game at the JCC! It is in a small strip of modern stores including Chipotle. The only thing was that the women's bathroom was being used as storage so I had to use the men's room which wasn't the cleanest! Sorry guys! And that was at 8:00 am! We all know that if you aren't within the Starbucks (cult) community, something as simple as ordering a tea can be very difficult. Now, imagine ordering for 3 very diverse people with very acquired tastebuds... exactly. We thought our Starbucks experience was going to be horrible. My boyfriend was practically sweating when he heard his aunt's order that he was forced to remember. Who would ever think a coffee could require so many adjectives?! When we got to the counter, the pressure was on. It felt like the last few seconds in the NBA Finals, the Heat has the ball. My boyfriend went in for the first order: "A tall, blonde, white, flat -- with soy." Boom! He mastered it. A clutch three pointer. Next, he ordered us both Matcha Teas with almond milk. I was surprised he made such a quick decision but he told me the barista, Urie, helped him figure out the perfect drink for his specific taste a week prior and he had been craving ever since. This location was very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Urie even told us a few Starbucks facts he learned throughout his years of working with the company. Although the inside is closed, due to COVID, guests are welcome to sit on the outside patio and enjoy their drinks. Bonus note: I really love the art pieces that they had throughout the store and we'll be back to visit Urie very soon. read more

Oh Starbucks, how I miss my afternoon Starbucks run... Hurrying on my 30 min lunch to grab some caffeinated beverage before returning to work... Ordering ahead to get in front of the line, or to save on time so that I do not lose any of those precious minutes, and get back on time... Now, driving to Starbucks is my bright light. This morning we stopped at Starbucks at Stirling Road, University Drive, 5796 S University Drive, Davie, FL 33328. We all ordered what we usually do. The Hispanic window girl with a peach hair tie and a tattoo behind her left ear was rude and interrupted at every order. For example we ordered a Mocha with whipped cream, to which she replied "it already comes with whipped cream you don't need to ask". We ordered a sausage and cheese sandwich to which she said "it's a sausage and cheese English muffin" we ordered a Trenta iced peach green tea lemonade with five pumps of classic and she said " it comes with 4 pumps of classic". Then when we pulled up and we're waiting for our order she hands it thru the window walks away. Comes back and says " what else do you need?" In a VERY irritated voice, we replied the rest of our order and told her what was missing. She did not apologize just turned around got it and handed it out the window. Truly the worst experience I've EVER had at a Starbucks. I come ALOT to Starbucks everywhere, as do my guests who frequent Starbucks at The Grove in Los Angeles. I will certainly avoid this Starbucks and rate it everywhere I'm able. The bad taste left in all our mouths was from this person (young lady is reserved for those with basic manners) and to be clear this was NO cultural misunderstanding- I am Dominican and black and my guests white (Grew up in NYC and live in Maine and LA- very culturally versed) this was plain RUDENESS, laziness and ignorance. Pros - Lots of outdoor seating at this location. Usually great service. Hazelnut macchiato - currently my biggest obsession here. Cons - Sometimes gets crazy packed with middle school and high school students (just gets loud and hectic). When busy, they can get very very backed up. read more

This Starbucks is clean, spacious, and makes consistently great coffee. They don't pour their drip coffee before it's done brewing, which is a big deal in my coffee snob opinion. And they don't try to pawn off old expressos in my lattes and cappuccinos. Much praise for doing things the right way. The baristas are always upbeat and friendly, which makes visiting such a pleasure. Even when they are slammed, probably due to the fact they have to man the drive-thru in addition to their walk in patrons, they make a point to acknowledge and greet you when you come in. (Can they go train the people at some other the other locations in Broward?) This location also has a Clover machine, which isn't available in every store. You can also pick up Starbuck's Reserve coffees here, which are small batch artisanal roasts for those who appreciate unique blends. I enjoy this location very much. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it's definitely welcoming to it's patrons. And while I won't be employing that outdoor seating until November rolls around, it's a nice option for those who want some fresh air. read more

I don't know what happened but lately this Starbuck's has been slacking. Mobile orders are NEVER ready anymore. Even with the wait time being longer on the app they still aren't ready. Just today, I had someone pick up a mobile order for me, I sent a picture of it as I usually do. Apparently it didn't go through, okay. But in the picture it can clearly be seen what was ordered and I'm not a barista but it was done wrong. It's even more frustrating when you pay extra for things you don't get. The loudest Starbucks I have ever been to in my entire life . The music is blasting . The chairs dragging across the floor is absolutely excruciating. When people move chairs to other tables they wince and apologize . If you are trying to be productive, this isn't the location for you . It's disappointing that this Starbucks location is hurting the organization. They are unorganized and don't understand the importance of quick service. The lines typically at 8:30 am are out the door, as expected, however, with this happening the most logical way to address this would be to have 2 people making coffee and 1 person taking orders! Well at this Starbucks, the have 1 person killing themselves behind the espresso machine, 1 person taking orders, 1 person writing on cups, and 1 person who I think is the manager, opening boxes and walking around the store cleaning up. That doesn't make sense! I have had to leave twice this week because they don't handle large crowds properly. On top of this on the days I do decide to wait, I order a grande caramel machiatto and for some reason they don't fill it up to the top. Only 50% of my cup of coffee and the other 50% is foam and light caramel drizzle. Now I'm not sure if they are actually making this properly., but there is no other Starbucks I've been to that makes my drink this way. I've been a Gold member for about 2 years, so I drink a lot of coffee and my experience here has just really put a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak. This is my go-to Starbucks. I love everything about this spot. All of the employees are super friendly, efficient and the quality of drinks that come from the baristas are quality and make it worth the money. This is a clover store, so if you have a few extra cents in your pocket, I definitely suggest that you get a clover coffee. You can watch them make the coffee and it comes out so rich and flavorful. The only qualm I have is that when I order my drink in the drive-thru it doesn't come out the same as if I were to go in. However, I do not mind coming in, because I love the warmness and friendliness of the baristas. Including Scott & Reggie! They are awesome!
