This is the worst Starbucks location in the area. The drive-thru is always held up and takes foreverrrr! The drinks are always inconsistent and taste awful more than half the time. The staff needs an attitude adjustment and need to learn to stop handing customers their drinks with whipped cream or caramel or coffee or whatever dripping all over the cups. Learn to clean the mess off your customers beverages before handing them out! I also paid for extra toppings on my frappuccinos during my last visit and got less than the usual bare minimum. I'll drive out of my way to the 190 location from now on for sure. read more

Service has always been friendly and as prompt as the line will allow. Did I mention the line? Yeah. There is always a line. So this is not my regular spot so they don't know my order when I pull up. But they are also not shocked when I order plain coffee and no extra pumps of shots of wheat ass or whatever you hipsters like. So what does all this rambling insanity tell you? Worst Starbucks I have ever visited. First time I have ever gone into a Starbucks and THERE WAS NO COFFEE READY !!! Sure, it was at opening, but it IS a coffee shop. Several times I have not been able to get my dark roast (without waiting for them to brew it). Recently, there was only enough dark roast to fill the cup 3/4 full. This place is awful! The wait is unreal!!! Last few times I've spent 30 to 45 minutes in the drive-through. Screwed up my order. Kindly went into the store and brought it to their attention. Nasty women in there with attitude. Very short and snippy, said they fix my drink but it was the same problem. I don't think these people are trained barista's. Not a hard, difficult order either! Just a bunch of teens running this place in the ground. The only decent worker there is a guy named Skyler who has an excellent attitude. I pray I get him when I drive through. I come to this Starbucks a few times a year when I am in town. I find it to be a bit irritating. The staff is not friendly at all. They are efficent in taking orders and that usually goes just fine. They do have a problem fulfilling drink orders. Recently I waited 15 minutes from order to drink. They seem to have an assembly line system going on for making drinks. I saw 3 people make 1 drink. Perhaps that is the most efficient way to get it done but based on results I am not sure. I will give them kudos for the bakery item I ordered. Sprouted Bagel extra toasted. It was extra toasted. Some locations just can't get that right. This one did and it was excellent. But waiting 15 minutes for a frappe is not acceptable. There were only 3 people waiting for drinks...in the store. There lies the problem. They are also fulfilling app orders and drive thru orders. Customers in the store will continue to wait while Starbucks continues this app ordering and letting customers order 10 and more drinks using the app. Yes, I have seen people walk in and pick up this many drinks while I have been standing there waiting for my one drink. I would use app ordering as well but Starbucks does not allow notes to customize your order. If you have another Starbucks on your route skip this one and go to another one. read more

I ordered a mobile order ten minutes before I got there thinking it would be ready. It wasn't. I went inside to pick it up and there were three people working. I usually use the drive thru but yesterday went inside for my child to use the restroom. This changed my opinion of this Starbucks completely. The bathroom was very nasty, not just trash but grime all over. It was gross and all I could think about was how disgusting the area that the customer can't see must be. I already ordered prior to the restroom trip so I patiently waited until the first item came out 20 minutes later. Other customers were demanding the manager but from what I could see there wasn't one. Once the time hit 26 minutes, I questioned my other item, and was snapped at by the stressed out barista saying "I don't know you name or whatever you ordered" This store definitely needs a trip from corporate and a attitude adjustment. read more

I thought ordering through the mobile app would speed up the time it would take to get my order, considering the line. That wasn't the case. I just sat in the lobby for almost a full 30 minutes while I watched the girl who is supposed to be making drinks squeeze in as many texts as she could between each drink. No wonder there is such a long wait here. The employees are too involved in their personal lives than concerned with providing customer service while at work. The only reason I stopped at this location is because Gause was backed up and Airport/Northshore is temporarily closed. Along with PJ's on the same exit. I can ONLY HOPE that a Dunkin' Donuts location will open around the area soon. The Covington location is too far from my Mandeville job and Slidell home.
