I have only flown out of CMH in the afternoon or evening, and found myself here on an AM flight, so instead of Vino Volo, I hit this Starbucks for a Hot Mocha and chocolate croissant before the flight. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly and my order was ready in no time. Easy peasy compared to a lot of airports. Maybe it's the size of the terminal, but I'd go here again if I needed coffee. read more

This is for the second CMH Starbucks NOT in the Southwest terminal, but whatever. I ordered a venti iced matcha latte with strawberry cream cold foam and oat milk, and boy oh boy did they deliver. Something about this matcha just HIT. I could've sworn that they (the brand) had changed their matcha formula to some godawful joke of a powder, but no sir. Staff was friendly. Main perk is that it's pre-security/post-embarking (however you look at it) and has plenty of seating with plugs! Great place to loiter! read more

The wait was short. The cost these days too high, but my Venti Gingerbread Cookie Chai was yum! I would recommend. read more

What is up with this Starbucks location? The line is very slow-moving, and then it is a huge wait after placing your order. Today, my spouse stood in the line for about 20 minutes, and then they told him at the register that it would take 30 minutes to get a coffee drink. What?!?!? He said they weren't understaffed or anything. He opted out, as we had a flight coming up. Last time I was here, I waited in line for what felt like forever (I didn't time it but I'm guessing 20-30 min) and only ordered stuff from the display. Still, I had to stand there after paying for a long time and finally asked someone about my order. They acted like I was being impatient for asking, but all they have to do is reach over and grab it. It turned out they were microwaving it, but still, like 10 minutes to microwave something? Not sure why this particular location is consistently so inefficient. It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. I'm pretty sure there are multiple Starbucks in the Columbus airport. This review is for the one that's just a short jaunt down the United terminal, across from the broken Jeni's ice cream vending machine (I'm still bitter). The line here was pretty outrageous, but considering the sad and limited options for food and beverage in this aeropuerto + the broke-ass Jeni's vending machine, this was my best best. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited until it was my turn in line. I didn't mind the wait since I was flying United and had one flight delay already and knew that good ole United would likely pull through with at least one more delay update before I actually got to board. I ordered an Oprah Chai Tea Latte and a spinach and egg white breakfast sandwich, which was actually more like a sloppy wrap... or burrito that someone only remembered to fold half way. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have expected much from the breakfast sammie, but in the past I've scored some pretty great hot sandwiches from my local 'bucks, so I was kind of expecting something on par with that, which wasn't the case. I watched as the shoved the pre-made thing in a microwave and waited for the buzzer to ring and the barista to throw my sammich in a tiny paper bag. It actually smelled pretty good... like a creamed spinach quiche. But then I opened the bag at my terminal seat and saw this blackened, burned, floppy thing... that in all honesty I probably should have expected. It wasn't good, but if faced with the situation again where I haven't eaten since the day before and my flight is delayed for some undisclosed number of hours and the Jeni's machine is still out of order, I would toy with the idea of ordering the floppy food again over going hungry. It should be noted that the best thing about this Starbucks is def the seating and atmosphere. It's quiet, has decent mood lighting, and no shortage of comfy nooks filled with seating... a really nice escape from the constant beeping of mini motorized vehicles navigating the terminal tunnels. read more

This is the lone Starbucks in the United and American Airlines terminal of Port Columbus Airport. I've been here twice over two consecutive days and have been less that satisfied on both. The first time I was there in the late evening. I asked for my standard Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and got a poorly made drink that did not have enough ice blended with the coffee. To make matters worse it was extremely sweet. I generally like sweet drinks but this was made to actually give someone a headache. The next morning I was there around 7 a.m. seeing the long line I was in two minds - should I risk it or should I play safe and avoid. Alas I was a slave to my body's physical need for sugar so I got it line knowing that this would be disastrous. To start with they got my order wrong and left out the crunch and whipped cream from my drink even though they billed me for it. Anyway when I got the drink I promptly asked them to add some, but this is only aesthetics the drink has to be made well, not half heartedly so it was completely avoidable. Finally the icing on the cake was that this time it completely lacked sweetness so was a complete waste. Two strikes in a row - this is too bad even for Airport food. I am a Starbucks connoisseur and was so excited to see a Starbucks in the Columbus airport. I made it to the counter, and the cashier was so very rude. I chose not to buy a drink because of how she acted. She told me they aren't making Frappuccino's, and when I asked if they were broken, she said nothing. 10 minutes later, my mom went in there and made a frappacino for her. So, when you go to get a drink, if Bontu is your cashier, be prepared for the wrath and the laziness of not wanting to make drinks! read more

This was a nice a quiet location at the airport. This location has a seating area and you can charge your phone or relax in the comfy chairs. I placed an order and there was no wait when my flight arrived around noon. It took them about 5 minutes to make my beverage. The staff were nice and friendly. They had a wide variety of food options that you could find at other locations. The place seemed pretty clean and they made my drink correctly. Overall I would recommend. read more

Slim pickings for food in this terminal before an early morning flight. I got in just before the line got crazy, which meant I was able to grab a seat and watch as they cranked through the line. It seemed like a reasonable wait time, and the workers were friendly enough. It was really nice to sit there and enjoy breakfast in what felt like a suburban Starbucks. Plenty of seating and comfy chairs made for a nice break from the typical airport scene. My coffee was on point and the egg and cheese on an English muffin was fine. Nothing to write home about but fit the bill for a breakfast that was neither fried nor a snack food from the newspaper stand. read more

Service honestly depends on who's working the register or making your drinks. The guys I've encountered are generally pretty friendly and open to requests, but there's one lady (maybe she's a manager?) who's incredibly rude and snappy if you have any questions. Wait-time also varies, and it is completely unrelated to how many people are in line (I've gotten my drink in 3 minutes with a huge line, and 10 minutes with no line). It's what you'd expect from an airport Starbucks. Nothing terrible, but nothing amazing either. read more

Just an ok experience. It was 6:00am and they have more than enough people working, however the line was very long. I decided to get the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. I have gotten this multiple times at other locations and never was it this greasy. Inside of the restaurant was dirty and looked like they had more employees then they need but nothing was done right. Friendly staff. Ordered a mocha and turkey sandwich. Turkey sandwich was just ok. I tok the cheese off and the mustard was heavy so it soaked the bread. Turkey was slightly smoked which wasn't listed. Bread was good. Mocha latte was great they did have to remake it because in the rush they didn't mark it decaf. Still - the barista remade it with a smile when I asked if it was decaf :) read more
