Beautiful, large and roomy Starbucks in the Promenade at Coconut Creek shopping center. The outdoor seating is the major selling point of this store. People hang out, congregate and mingle outside with neighbors, friends and family. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the easy going feel of this store, the staff and the customers. In between beauty appointments I stopped in to kill time and grab a cappuccino. This is the gathering place of the Promenade. When school lets out it is filled with students from nearby Monarch High School. On the Friday morning I visited it still had a good amount of people. If you have ever been to a Starbucks you know what to expect, high priced coffee and light snacks and sandwiches. This store is large and open with seating inside and out. If you need somewhere to meet up or a place to grab a light bite and coffee this is the best place in the Promenade to go. read more

Probably one of my more favorite Starbucks! Although it can get very busy, I don't often have a hard time finding a seat. I usually place my order online and pick up in store on my way browsing the mall and it's typically ready on time. What I like about this location is that it's not as dark and dim as some of the other Starbucks. Maybe I'm not the average consumer, but I feel like the more dim locations actually have more chatter so it's harder for me to focus when I want to study. The parking can be a little hectic later in the day. I generally recommend this location for your morning needs since it doesn't have the hustle & bustle of the other locations (a big bonus for me). read more

I think the workers are on top of it, friendly and take care of orders pretty quickly- sometimes give out samples if you come on a lucky day! I really like this Starbucks for the space - and it's not claustrophobic, or tables right on top of each other. It receives good sunlight as well. It's also in a shopping plaza which gives you a lot to do if you arent there to stay in the coffeeshop. Definitely my go-to Starbucks when I'm back at home. read more

UPDATE - Feb 1, 2018 This used to be a fantastic Starbucks because it had 8 great comfortable leather club chairs lined up along one side of the store, in two lines, 4 chairs in each line and facing one another. Now they have broken the chairs into sets of 2 each and scattered them throughout this large Starbucks. The PROBLEM is that it's almost always impossible for a couple of friends to get 2 seats together. Single visitors take one seat and then the other is free. But it can only be used by one person. My go-to coffee place, this Starbucks is a great location front and center at the Coconut Creek Promenade. After a meal, before a movie or worth a visit on its own, this location has lots of seating both inside and out, the latter especially nice in the cooler winter days. A good meeting spot for a quick catch-up with friends, or nurse a warm drink and catch up with your Kindle backlog. It's also often a pre-gym stop for some caffeine and a banana, the latter which might be my only kvetch: they're not just overpriced at like $1.25 each, but often under- or over-ripe, and/or bruised. So I bring one with me. Yes, that's a banana in my pocket, ma'am. The coffee is, well, Starbucks, but their teas are also good. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is solely based upon the fact that at about 15:00 on weekdays, droves of middle school? kids swarm the place like clockwork and are obnoxious and loud--but hey, that's what kids do right? I would avoid this place specifically for that reason if you're looking to get some peaceful reading, have a brief lunch meeting, or get some intense studying in. read more

I stopped in here the other day on my way to the office. It was super early & they were just opening. This Starbucks is very big & it is immaculate. It's one of the nicest Starbucks I have ever walked into. I was greeted by a friendly barista ( I should have asked for her name) who despite the early hour was in a cheerful & upbeat mood. Her positive energy actually helped improve my own mood. :) I stopped in to pick up lunch to bring with me to work. I always get the "Protein Box". It is only about five bucks & it is a good choice if you are trying to eat healthy. The box includes: red grapes, apple slices, cheese slices, hard boiled egg, a small pouch of peanut butter & a biscuit. I take them to work a lot. It makes a good lunch if you eat at your desk because it is not messy & it's good stuff. My iced coffee was great as usual. I'm spoiled because the Starbucks within walking distance from my condo has a drive through. But this is a great store & I will be stopping in here more often. This is my neighborhood Starbucks, and I'm here somewhat often to hang out with friends or even just grab and go. Thankfully, I haven't had the same issues with the baristas as the previous reviewer. One thing I have noticed, however, is that they frequently run out of bakery items in the evening. For example, I went in this evening around 8:30 to get a caramel apple spice drink and a rice krispie treat (don't judge, they're yummy). The case was barren, and this happens often here. I get that they're busy, but c'mon people, plan a little better. My beverages have always been prepared accurately (I'm not a coffee/espresso drinker, so I stick with chai, tea, etc.), but one thing that I find quite strange is that they serve the caramel apple spice (it's like a cider) with whipped cream. That's like putting whipped cream on apple juice. It just doesn't happen. Apparently that's how all Starbucks serve them, but jeez that's weird. read more

I dont care about the long lines and waiting a bit, but they never adjust, seems like they take it a bit to "Easy". I've been coming to this Starbucks for about three years since I live right down the street and solar apartments. I placed my order online for a fast pick up. I walked in And went straight to the area where you pick up your food and drinks. I stood there for about 5min looking at my coffee and breakfast sandwich as the girl continued to make a drink for someone else. I then decided to reach over the counter to grab my Breakfast sandwich and coffee. Then the Asian looking girl decided to freak out and decides to tell me that is not allowed to reach over and grab something that I already paid for. She embarrassed me in front of four other guests and as a medical professional I thought it was extremely rude and uncouth. Like I said someone who is in the medical field knows the regulations of this COVID-19. It's clear to me that they need to get more educated on the processes of COVID-19 in a restaurant establishment. It's sad to say that I will never be to the Starbucks again knowing it's right down the street from my home. I will never be back at the Starbucks again. read more
