Today I stopped here for my lunch break. I was greeted by staff and management. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The Barista's were very attentive and nice. The manager Zay took my order and she even asked how I was doing. That was a plus. I told her I was extremely tired and she joked with me about it which was great because it gave me a little boost. She made sure my drink was actually how I needed it because we both didn't need me tired at work lol. The staff worked non stop but very smoothly. It wasn't chaotic just well managed and organized. This location was very clean even with all of the foot traffic from the snow there was someone to make sure the floors were cleaned and dry. I'm happy I stopped at this location this morning. This is the worst Starbucks location I have ever been to. If you put in a mobile order and you don't give them exactly 12 minutes to make the same drink as people who order at the speaker box in real time they'll tell you to circle around or come inside if your drink isn't ready but if you order at the speaker box and your drink isn't ready you can just sit there in the drive thru until it's ready. When I asked the employee why their policy is like this, a woman told me "it's 2 different transactions, so..." make it make sense? Long story short, either spend your money at Dunkin like I do or avoid this specific location to save yourself the headache. read more

Great SB location & customer service!! I'm not sure why this location is rated so low. The customer service and drinks that I've had here have been excellent. The ladies here are so professional and make it an effort to greet you every time you visit. I like the added touch and shout to them for that. It really makes a difference. Also, I'm not sure about others, but I have not had a bad experience here. I even gave it a couple of visits before writing this review, just to make sure things were on par with previous visits and that the service and quality of food/drinks were consist with the last visit as well. No issues here. Everything has been on point. By the way, the Americano's have been the best here! It's so dark rich and flavorful. Try for yourself and thank me later. As for this particular location, it can get very busy, especially during the mornings and weekends but the staff here work very hard at keeping orders and the lines moving quick. The vibe is very chill with several tables and chairs for inside and outside seating. There is also a drive-through available for easy ordering and pickup. Truth be told, this SP location is one of the better if not best locations in the surrounding Clinton/Fort Washington area!...imho. Trust me, I've been to them all and can't say they are better. I've never been in an establishment where everyone working absolutely hates their jobs more than this. There were consistently at least 4 people behind the counter so I went in with optimistic expectations. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes for a single Grandé Frappe. And I'm sure it would've taken longer if I hadn't went to the counter and asked for my drink to be made. My first time being at this Starbucks location. This is by far the worst I've been to in MD and across the country. I've been to several over the years, too. The customer service is terrible. Everyone here acts like they hate working here. That alone makes this a place I don't ever wish to come back to. The cashier who is also doing the warm food items didn't say hello before taking my order and I had to say "good morning, how are you" as customary for me when I encounter rudeness at the offset. I ordered a Grande Iced Coffee with four pumps of white mocha and add sweet cream! When I pulled up to the window they gave me my drink but in a HOT CUP. I know I said ICED COFFEE AND THE LADY WHO TOOK MY ORDER REPEATED IT CORRECTLY!! So imagine the confusion on my face, when I receive a hot drink. So I tell them and they take it back and give my iced drink less than 15 seconds. They dumped my hot Coffee into a cup or ice which melted all my ice and now my drink doesn't taste the same and nor is it cold. Starbucks please do better because that's just simply lazy AF!!!!!!! This may be why they took my money but not my name with the order. So I could not locate my order. After a considerable amount of time, someone finally made me a drink. Sadly it was not a Tall Mocha. If you are looking to work from this Starbucks location, don't. This was my first time at this Starbucks location and it will most definitely be my last. There are a total of 5 tables, 2 of which were taken by Starbucks employees on their phones while 12 people were waiting for their drinks and looking for a place to sit. I was able to grab a table from a gentleman who was leaving, but was told by the man at the table next to it that he was saving it for the manager to come over. This man had another chair at this table and when the manager did come over to sit at the table, openly complained about me taking the table. The table I was at was against a wall with only one side to go around, which she blocked. When I went up to get my drink and said excuse me, she made no attempt to move and continued to complain about the table being taken. The only star in this review is for the barista that took my order and was friendly. Will not be back to this location and submitted this complaint on the Starbucks website. read more

Whenever I'm at this location, the drive through line is ridiculously long. Although today at this particular time it wasn't. While pulling up towards the drive through, the person who was taking my order had absolutely no patience. I didn't even get to roll my window down before she was rushing me to start my order. It was rude and completely unnecessary. I didn't want to tip at all because the service was so poor. I had to ask the person to give me a couple of seconds to get my order together. This is the best Starbucks I've been to by far. The staff members are very welcoming and accommodating. Whatever I order, they make it to perfection. And they greet each regular by name, which is very warming to see the Customer relation is pleasant. The store is always clean and I appreciate that the package fruit is pre-washed and ready to eat. Service at this Starbucks is horrible, I've done several mobile orders 15m in advance expecting my drink to be ready and no it's never ready and I still have to wait plus 15 more minutes. Love the customer service and efficiency of the staff here. When you pull up in the drive-thru, or go in, there is always a long line but never a long wait! From the front staff to the baristas, service is always A+! I always go for my afternoon pick-up and my drink (caramel macchiato w/ soy) is always made perfectly! I also live that thery take their time out to completely answer your questions. On one occadion, son wanted a drink but I didn't want him to have the caffeine. The ladies at the cash register ram down each drink without caffeine and even gave some examples of what it would taste like... My son ended up getting the vanilla frappe, and then came back for the chocolate chip frappe. He's in love with those things lol! On a second occasion of asking questions, I needed to know which drinks had espresso in it. I needed a pick me up, but not the jitters, LOL! This is an ok Starbucks location. It is pretty nice on the inside and proves to be a decent meeting place for small groups of four or less, studying or reading. I think the highlight of the Clinton Starbucks is the drive-thru. As someone who generally comes inside the store for service, I always feel the those who do the drive-thru probably get faster service. That's how it seems...when you're waiting anyway. I don't really eat the pastries or sandwiches, but other people seem to like them just fine and order them often. The atmosphere is usually pretty calm. The tables and floors are always clean and tidy. This is the only Starbucks I come to where my coffee is not served too hot. I can almost drink it immediately after receiving it. Very glad they decided to move out of the Safeway and create a stand-a-alone store. That was the best thing they could have done! read more

Not big on coffee or Starbucks because they are extremely overpriced but every now and then I indulge. I had a Tall Caramel Frappuccino which was absolutely delicious. The right amount of coffee and the right amount of sweetness. I received fast and courteous service here. My only complaint isn't with this location but more so with Starbucks and the $4 I paid for this kiddie sized beverage but I guess that's why it's Starbucks. It is fall. October 10th to be exact. I was looking forward to trying the Apple Croissant from Starbucks. I was hesitant about going to the Clinton location bc they're always out of SOMETHING. I pull up to the drive through (wait was about 10 min) and placed my order. I asked for the apple croissant, which, of course, they're out of smh. The girl then says "oh it's out of season so we won't have anymore". The drive-thru menu literally has "New" next to the item. And again, it's Fall. So how would an apple croissant be out of season?? So when I got to the window, I asked her again if they were out of season bc the menu shows it as new. She said "I don't know why it says that, that needs to be taken off". She was nice so I won't discredit her customer service but I was so confused. Mind you, a friend of mine just went to her local Starbucks in Manassas to order one and they had it. Figures. I really want better for Clinton but I'll just have to continue bypassing this location and going to the one in Brandywine. read more
