So I get that I will have to accept that Starbucks is more expensive here than it is in Atl. But they do not offer a "vanilla chai latte" the vanilla is an up charge which was not the case where u lived previously. Then they ignored my scan for points and when I asked them to do it they said they can't...but I was holding it up and they just asked for payment. Lastly they messed up my order. I do 2 pumps vanilla only and light ice. It has 3 pumps vanilla and was definitely not light ice. I don't have an overly complex order so I'll be going to a different location gong forward.

After checking out the menu the server eventually asked us what we wanted. The wife chose a tea concoction from a stand alone menu they had propped up on the counter, as if to advertise special or seasonal configurations. She was told they did not have one of the two tea blends (then take it off the menu!). She ended up ordering a different offering from the main menu and I ordered a large latte. The food/pastry window was weak, so we did not order anything from there. Maybe they got wiped out before we arrived around 2pm, but I kind of doubt it. We took a seat in the dining area and when our drinks were brought over I was a little disappointed in the size of my "large" coffee, as in most places it would have been deemed a medium. Oh well, it was tasty I'll give him that. Overall we agreed we won't return here, as we saw during our tourist walk a couple of other coffee shop options. Yep, it could've been better.

This is a tip extortion place. The lowest option was adding a dollar. I imagine this would not be the case if there were 2 windows, one for ordering, the other for pickup, but here the orders are taken by folks on foot. So my 5 dollar mocha became 6, and I was a walk up, not in a vehicle. The order takers are are often easy on the eyes, which I suspect is part of the appeal, but other times it is a sausage festival. So the expense of coffee outside the house, plus the offensive tip situation, means the place will not be in my rotation, but they seem to be doing quite well. The mocha coffee tasted good.

However, Dutch Bros is becoming another favorite. This location is in Clermont so kind far for me right now, I stop when I head to Costco. However, they are building one in Winter Garden so I will probably be headed there a lot. You can order on the app and I suggest doing it that way. Once you get in line you kind of need to know what you want quickly and their menu is huge! There are so many options to create your own drinks! Their line is unique. There are 2 sides and usually a person walking both sides to take your order. When its not busy, you will order at the window. They do a great job of rotating cars back and forth between sides. They offer ice coffees, lattes, lemonades, energy drinks and more. They mostly have drinks but have been adding more food options. They also almost always have special drinks of the season, the moment, etc. I personally loved their Ice Cookie butter during Christmas and I hope it comes back. Currently I usually order the Iced Latte Salted Caramel with whip cream and fat free milk or the Ice Lemonade Poppin boba berry lemonade. The Ice Dutch Golden Eagle is also fantastic. If you use the app you can save your favorite drinks so you don't have to add all the customizations each time. I love this part! It makes it super easy to reorder. The app also lets you collect app stickers and you can earn points. I would recommend using the app and getting those points. The team members are always so amazing, if they are waiting for your drink, they will chat with you, they have such great energy. Always super friendly. This is definitely a more laid back coffee spot! I highly recommend checking them out!

The wait for my drink to arrive lasted about 5 to 10 minutes, tasted good (Cold Brew), and I was on my way. It was an all-around solid visit for me. Traveling south, the location is on the right, immediately to your left after you make the right turn. Heading north, a dedicated turn lane takes you right to the store. No U-Turns!!!
