Convenient location at the entrance to South Seas Restaurant. Went in for a hot chocolate and a breakfast sandwich. Only 2 tables inside, but there are 3 high top tables under the roof and also a few open sky tables. Servers were cheerful and the order was ready quick. My hot chocolate was good and so was the ham & cheese croissant.

Nice patio. Greatest Coffee ever. Nice staff. Sanibel Island hopefully they are okay after Hurricane Ian.

Amazing location for Starbucks. Sanibel Island. I hope that they survived Hurricane Ian. Such a relaxing time. Last December.

Starbuck's: Consistent coffee all the time. Friendly associates. Great location. To those who give 1 or 2 stars and whine cuz they can't use their Starbuck's card.....get a life. It's frickin coffee.....enjoy Captiva Island.

No Starbucks card support, out of apple juice, dirty, little seating. Very disappointing experience.

I'll just get to the point: they don't take Starbucks gift cards. I guess you have to save your craving for the mainland.

During the summer it is way too hot to sit outside. Boops has ice cream, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and the best item....Bubble Room Cakes. Here is the list of the cakes: Red Velvet Cake (A rich buttermilk cake with a hint of cocoa, layered with a decadent pecan cream cheese icing); Orange Crunch Cake (A moist yellow cake layered with an almond brown sugar crunch and covered in orange cream cheese icing- this is the most popular cake) White Christmas Cake (Light and fluffy white cake with toasted slivered almonds, layered with homemade whipped cream, hand-packed coconut, and topped with white chocolate shavings) Very Moist Chocolate Cake ( A legendary dark chocolate cake, dense and incredibly moist, layered with a decadent chocolate toffee pecan crunch frosting) New York Cheesecake (A dense, creamy cheesecake topped with fresh fruit, a light apricot glaze, slivered almonds, and a classic graham cracker crust) Jamaican Rum Cake (A buttery pound cake soaked in dark Jamaican rum with a chocolate mousse center, topped with chopped pecans and a rich rum glaze) Tropical Breeze Cake (A mandarin orange cake iced with a rich pineapple cream cheese frosting and topped with an assortment of fresh tropical fruit) French Chocolate Torte (Three layers of moist dark chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and strawberries, finished with a chocolate-dipped strawberry on top) Key Lime Pie (with a bright, citrusy filling and a perfectly balanced sweet-tart finish) Buttercrunch Ice Cream Pie ( A cool, creamy ice cream pie with a buttery crunch) Aside from the cakes all of us will also get an espresso. Today we stopped by and got some ice cream and espresso. I ordered a scoop of blueberry cheesecake. LOVED it. I also ordered a double espresso. My wife also ordered the blueberry cheesecake but added hot fudge chocolate. Again, she loved it. My mother in law ordered a scoop of strawberry ice cream on a cone.

Happy to see there is a parking lot across the street bc parking in Captiva Island is very limited. They have seating inside and outside. We sat inside with our small dog and they were very welcoming to all of us. They even brought our pup some water and a pup cup. Enjoyed the orange crunch cake. Definitely unique. They said that is their specialty so I had to try it. My husband enjoyed his strawberry milkshake and I agree it was quite tasty. Very happy for this stop which is fun since the Bubble Room and Bubble Room Emporium are also in this area to visit. Definitely a must stop Captiva Island Spot!!!

Island eats are meant to be enjoyed on island time - without a rush, in good company, and in the sun. I've been coming to RC Otters since I was a little kid and rented the house down Andy Rosse lane by Mucky Duck. It used to be one of our treats to eat there for breakfast instead of at our house during our summer vacations. This past visit - we missed the breakfast cut off and had lunch there. I opted for the grouper sandwich. Something about a fish sandwich on an island is just luxury to me. They offer it grilled, blackened, bronzed, or fried. Bronzed sounded intriguing to me which is a mix of savory with a hint of sweet. Wow. It was awesome. I also ordered a bloody mary which was delicious. My sister in law got the ribs and loved them. Everyone else got the fish sandwich. Service is so friendly, and they usually have live music going on. A great, affordable place to enjoy a meal. They also have a lot in front for parking, but it's very walkable if you're staying in a house nearby or even the south seas resort.

With its multi-colorful exterior it makes you feel in vacation mode just looking at it. They have an equal amount of indoor an outdoor seating, and we opted for outdoor when we came for breakfast. RC Otters is open the earliest of the few restaurants on Captiva, aside from Starbucks if you count that. All of the standard breakfast offerings were on the menu, plus a special of theirs is a breakfast sandwich that's an omelette wedged between two pieces of french toast. Kind of fun. The food was good, nothing stellar but it was decent. It was altogether an enjoyable morning with the colorful setting. They are open all day for other meals so can't speak to how the lunch or dinner food is, but we enjoyed the breakfast.

We had very good service throughout even though they were busy. We weren't rushed. We dined leisurely but without gaps between courses. We shared a Caesar salad to start. It was a good appetizer. For my main entree, I had the lamb chops. There were two double chops perfectly cooked to my request -- crisped on the outside. They were delicious. And served over mashed potatoes with asparagus and carrots. The portion was large. My husband had the burgundy braised short ribs. The meat was tender and flavorful. He said the sauce they were in was just rich and wonderful. We were too full to try any of their desserts. As we were leaving, we both said that this restaurant is a "keeper". We wished we'd been here sooner.

This year, hubby gets our room through…read morebooking.com....we didn't realize until we got here that we could not enjoy any of the "extras" that we have in the past, we were told the fees when staying here at South Seas were enormously high. We always paid for the extras and had no problem being able to afford it. But because of booking.com those perks were not included and we had no clue until we drove to the north point and were told we needed that wrist band to enter everywhere...we had them before like I said when we booked through South Seas....we can take the trolley here to the north point , but why bother since we could not enjoy the beach bar or scoops and slices. So I went on line and when I read the statement below and seeing the work Yes, I thought it would be good, we were wrong and now we wait 45 minutes for the trolley, it would be nice if South Seas would offer EVERYONE that stays here some kind of pass to be able to go to the beach bar and scoops and slices...it's not like we don't have the money.....any way, what is your take on the statement below....when I saw the word "Yes" I just thought that was a go....i guess we will think again when coming here.
