I stopped in from a trip for a quick drink. This location is fairly small and very crowded. I tried the new Berry matcha and strawberry matcha loaf both were mediocre. The drink was so sugary I couldn't drink it. I asked them to make it again and they very kindly did so but it was worse and flavorless. I will not be returning to this Starbucks. I walked in with my service dog just to place a to-go order. Although there was plenty of space, an employee tried to squeeze behind my dog and stepped on his tail. When I calmly pointed out what happened and simply asked her to be more careful, she denied it and then told me dogs aren't allowed. I explained that my dog is a service animal, and she immediately demanded paperwork. I asked who she was to request that, and she said she was the manager and told me I needed to leave. She wasn't wearing a name tag, and I had no idea she even worked there until she handed me a business card. This was extremely disappointing and upsetting. Service animal handlers should not be treated this way, especially when just trying to place a simple order. I expected better from Starbucks. read more

It truly surprises me that this Starbucks is in Calabasas. It's simply not as nice as you'd expect from the location. I came in this afternoon for a quick afternoon iced coffee while heading south on the 101. It was decently busy inside with folks working remotely, yet not crazy by any means. I placed my order and the gal awkwardly stared at me when I asked if they had the Half-Off Wednesday deal. She eventually said yes. When I asked if it was limited to any specific beverages she said "Not sure but order what you like and we will see if it goes through." Uh ok... The deal did go through after she scanned my Starbucks mobile card--thankfully. I walked my dog on the small patio and used the restroom--both which were not well kept with trash on the ground. By the time I returned to the counter my drink was still not ready. The baristas are simply chatting away having a grand old time, while the stations were not nicely organized, tidy nor clean. None of this seems like the expectations that I usually see and know at Starbucks stores (sadly the grocery store locations also aren't on the same caliber). All in all, my drink was mediocre being a bit too sweet and not filled to the top. I wasn't going to request anything because the baristas were too occupied with their conversation. My review stands on the back of the excellent customer service provided for the first time in a long time by barista and extraordinary team member Nini. I have discovered some new health challenges where I'm not able to consume certain foods, especially dairy products that contain lactose. If you can't relate, then you understand. Nevertheless, Nini took the time to express it. She exposed and reviewed different options for me to try both now, and in the future as my permanent go to. She even took the time to assist me, navigating the app in order to allow me to make future purchases online via the app, that way I can expedite time. Starbucks has been a scourge on this area since it opened. There's already one in the market next door. In general this location is slow and the coffee tastes bad (actually that's every location) and the environment has become more hostile to hanging out. 06/01/2018 Traffic was on the lighter side. I am going to be early to my destination. Why not stop here for a cup of coffee. It's definitely going to be a long night. This Starbucks is their own building in this parking lot. I found a parking spot right next to two Sheriff vehicles parked over the line. Was that really necessary with the parking skills you are suppose to possess? Inside is a large space with a big table in the middle. The small tables have the wireless charging by the window. if you have a phone that is capable makes it worth a moment. I walk up to order my drink and wait while I cool off in the air conditioning. Most people here are hanging out chatting and no one studying. So I'm just waiting for a free table or ask politely to share. I just appreciate there is a clean restroom to use before I get on my way. read more

Wow, this is my second time here and I am impressed!! This Starbucks has friendly staff, the baristas are on it and timely! The seats are filled, so it's not the best place to have a business meeting, but definitely a great place to meet a friend. The patio is clean, has umbrellas and offers a place to sit if you want fresh air or if you have your K9 with you. The drinks are made as ordered. I'm kind of an iced tea snob and theirs is delish. Hey, at least I can admit the snob part. The decor is different and fun. Very fitting for the area. Clean bathrooms! This is a treat nowadays! Ok, maybe I'm cheating on my other Starbucks...but happened to be in the area and needed a tasty drink. I like the look of this Starbucks, it's open and has a ton of big windows which is really nice. I've come here a few times, and I am always greeted by nice folks behind the Counter. It's a good time now, 5:30pm and all is chill & quiet. Just a bunch of locals hanging at their tables and searching their laptops for something....I count 11 open laptops at the moment. Wow...and they are focused on their laptops folks! My drinks just came up, I am trying the new "Dragonfruit Drink"...I gotta say, it's refreshing! I usually stick with my Iced Venti Chai Tea with Coconut Milk and 1 pump of Vanilla. But hey, why not go crazy and do something new! Yup, I am living dangerously folks....holy cow! I also want to add this Starbucks has a cool wall in the back of the store. It is made from boxes of wine, with different labels...it's just a really cool addition to this Starbucks, it makes it stand out and I think it's stunning. Great "wall art" if you will. I don't come here often, but when I do, its always a pleasant experience and it's pretty calm. So if you are in Calabassas, swing by and check out this store. Probably one of the worst, sloppiest drinks I have ever had! I ordered an iced green tea latte. See the pic below and it explains it all! There are spots of green tea clumps all in the drink! No excuse for this, you can't miss this when you hand the drink to me. I was in a rush and took it as is and just kept shaking and stirring the drink. Also, they have a Yelp offer if you check in you get a Free Evening food item. When I asked the cashier about it , she said they no longer have evening food items . The manager here is a weirdo. This is a strange review for me because everyone there is so friendly but whenever I go to sit in the lobby, he always stares and never says hello so I find it unsettling. As a trans male currently in transition, I'm unsure if this has anything to do with his odd behavior. On another note, Aziza took my order and she was so full of life - it was refreshing. My order was, unfortunately, input wrong since I think she's new but that's okay. Chardonnay was really sweet and remade my drink for me quickly, even though there was a long line. There were two guys standing behind the counter talking until one said "oh man look at all of those food tickets pulling up". Yesterday was a strange day on a few levels. One of which included a stop at this "grungy" Starbuck's - Dear Hubby's adjective. Though in a lull for patrons at about 7:00, the whole place looked like it had been through a very hard day. It definitely didn't feel clean. There were bits of straw papers almost everywhere. Not quite to confetti level, but heading that direction. Almost every visible surface could have used a wipe down, including the counters where the barista was making the drinks. Ew! There were only two employees, and I suspect they were overwhelmed. The cashier was very friendly, but that was about the only bright spot. Once we collected our drinks, we went outside, where there were dirty tables waiting, along with semi-dead, uncared-for planters with succulents. Didn't set a great tone. I tried their brand new sangria iced tea drink. Not sure if they made it correctly, but it was way too sweet. Per the photo, it was supposed to have berries and orange slices in it. I only got two orange slices and zero berries. I'd consider trying it again at another location where I can ask them about the flavor pumps, and back off on the sugary syrup. The menu shows this with less than half the calories of a coffee frappucino, but I suspect the one I got was higher due to the syrup content. DH had an even worse time with the new Iced Coconut Milk Macchiato. It was heavy and cloying. Not something to be considered a summer refresher! He never finished the last third, so that was a waste of money. Not a winner. Strange people-watching experience. There was a woman on the patio talking on her cell phone in a loud voice, having the type of conversation you have at home; not in a restaurant full of other people. Happy to see her move on! Then a heart-attack victim waiting-to-happen wandered by from the nearby grocery store. He was dangling a cigarette from his mouth, carrying a bag with chips visible, also clutching a six pack of orange soda, and another of beer. Dinner of champions! Not that I was being judgemental or anything. ;-) They serve wine & beer at this location, but no one seemed to be into those offerings. IMHO they need to spend some time on serious cleaning and bring some sparkle to this store. It was sorely lacking. read more

I am posting my review for a DoorDash order I completed today. I ordered a large chai latte with almond milk, less sugar, and more foam. Now, the issue is not with the DoorDash order but rather the way our order came out. It was more so watery and did not really look or taste like a chai latte. Also, we asked for 2 extra teabags on the side however you guys said that apparently that cannot be done. I spoke with the store, and you guys also said that you can guys remake the drink so we may do that. They even told me to complain through Yelp as apparently Starbucks no longer has an official customer service feedback website and that can only be done through their app. This is my review. read more

This is a stylish Starbucks. The ambiance and vibe are conducive to a productive time of studying or playing Risk. The downside is that it's oftentimes a bustling place and a table can be hard to come by. As far as friendliness goes- this Starbucks has warm and upbeat baristas. Cheers! read more

They understaffed (or undersized) to support the morning rush. Even with a mobile order, I waited a long time for my drink. Waiting in line, I could not help repeating "next time go to McDonald's".
