I purchased an e-gift card from Starbucks on the Klarna app but the recipient has not received it. I've contacted Starbucks numerous times and all I get is the run around. Pretty decent Starbucks location to take a breather in and enjoy an iced coffee. This location has a pretty large and spacious layout but it's kind of a odd setting with a lot of unused space. A few tables to sit at. Service was fine and I got my iced coffee pretty quickly. Needed it after hitting the 15 mile mark during my run today. read more

The coffee is overpriced, but to be fair I knew that going in. There was really no one there other than two baristas and me. It still took 5 1/2 minutes to get a single shot of espresso to go. I did not even bother to try out the free WiFi, nor did I bother to check the bathroom. By the time they finished my espresso the two there were whispering and arguing about who got my tip. Someone must frequent this location a lot as most of the tables were marginal. I am glad I missed the rush hour as i don't see how anyone gets their coffee in time. I've stopped by twice since COVID. You can only do mobile orders for the safety of everyone. Initially you weren't allowed to cone into the store. A barista would bring your item outside. I went recently amd i was able to step inside and grab my drink off the table. It seemed safe. I just waited outside until i saw my drink placed on a table just inside the doorway. "when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true" It took two years of me wishing, and hoping, and thinking, and praying for a Starbucks to open where I worked. Then, lo and behold, I'm walking down the street and see the green double-finned mermaid above a sign that read "Starbucks". Now, granted I changed job locations two months after this store opened, the small window of time when this was my go-to bux was filled with more good experiences than bad. It's not the largest Starbucks I've been to, but this is an urban and densely populated area of the Bronx so that's expected. Because of the number of businesses in the area as well as all the courthouses, you can imagine it was crowded. They almost always got my drink right, with my only complaint being they didn't always have blonde roast brewed (I'm an impatient person and never wanted to wait for a pour-over). One staff who took orders as well as the cashier yawn publicly and widely to expose his disgruntled outlook towards his job status. Staff is hustling with fulfilling orders in the already holiday festive décor and atmospheric conditions of appropriate attire- reindeer antlers, Santa hats, and red aprons. When asked the option of whip cream, at every location, I always decline at the time of order but the coffee barista continues to question despite it is written on my sales receipt. They had a great selection of music at this location. They played spice girls and N'sync for god sakes! I stayed there till all my drinks were prepped and longer just to enjoy that throwback music. There wasn't really a line as I was helped fairly quickly. They were very attentive and got both of my drinks out in a timely fashion. Keep up the good work! read more

This location should strictly be visited in the morning or early afternoon, staff is amazing then, there is one gentleman who stands out, very kind and has a projective voice when it comes to handing out drinks, very tall guy, wears glasses I think. ANYWAYS, this rating was a difficult one because upon walking into this Starbucks at about 8:30pm, only 2 employees were there one I think was a manager. She was chatting it up with her boyfriend (also threw some PDA in the mix) while the barista at the beverage station was busy chatting up another dude. I stood in an imaginary line for about 5 minutes before even being acknowledged, after placing my beverage order I then asked for the code to the bathroom, the manager or supervisor whatever she is took priority yet again of chatting it up with her boyfriend while I just stood there waiting for her to finish. Wow, possibly the best looking Starbucks in the entire NYC area I've ever been to. It's so clean and spacious, doesn't make me feel like I'm in the Bronx. There's plenty of tables, booths, high stools for groups to sit and it doesn't give off that crowded feeling. The pastry case was stocked, looked fresh. Even the bathrooms were immaculate. Service was on point. The line moved quickly. I got my usual decaf drip. Except it tasted a tad bit watered down. I'm glad there's a Starbucks close to home, but for a location across from the Bronx court houses and near Yankee Stadium, it has its ups and downs. It's spacious and clean, and the staff is nice. However when there are a lot of people ordering, it takes forever for them to take your order since sometimes there's only one person making all the drinks. It's best to go when there are not that many people since they make your drink nice and neat compared to some baristas in busier Starbucks locations. read more
