Saw recently that 787 had opened in this location. I've been to a few of their Manhattan locations and loved their coffee so was happy to see they had opened a new spot. Relaxed and upbeat atmosphere and great coffee. I got an iced drink and finally got to try one of the coffee bladder bags (lol). I have said in the past I wish there was such a thing as a coffee IV and I guess this is just about as close to it gets! Original and funky.

The vibe here is nice and quiet and the staff here are friendly. The coffee served is okay depending on who makes it (sometimes I go and the drinks taste over extracted). But what is really good is the coquito latte ICED. Get that on a hot summer day and woooooooo!!!! Will go there just for that.

This is a cute little coffee place. Love their plants it's super chill. You can work here if you'd like or bring a date. It's also just perfect for catching up with friends. Whether you take it to stay or to go this coffee is sure to surprise your pallet. I've had their horchata latte and marzipan both really tasty. Check them out! Service is great also make sure to look cute ladies they will take a picture for their insta!

Cute cup of deliciousness

The coquito latte with infused rum was so delicious, the quesito and the chicken empanada were amazing. Chris and Kayla, were very sweet and welcoming. While I live on the other side of the Bronx, I will definitely make a trip back over to 787 Coffee again and again! Keep up the great job

Unique Puerto Rican flavored coffee. Tried the Coquito Latte hot. Kids had the cold Tres Leches, and other flavors. The Modern rustic, white decor, is great and very relaxing. Good vibes, and friendly service. The seating is comfortable, varied and plentiful for the space. Recommend a visit.

The service and the coffee was great. It has been over 40 + years been to this neighborhood and a lot has changed. Just had the coffee with friends in which we were visiting. Had the coffee in Puerto Rico a while back so wanted to taste it here.

Their decor is amazing!

The vibes was very chilled here. It was smaller than I expected, and very cozy. People were there working and taking a call, and you could still hear yourself. They have outdoor seating. I got empanadas and iced coquito -- both were delicious! The staff was very kind.

Tried the iced coffee. It was average. The ice melted too quickly. The place has a nice vibe. Prices are reasonable.

After a few days in the city together, my friend and I stopped in for breakfast before parting ways. The vibe was cozy, relaxed, and welcoming, exactly what you want from a local coffee shop. The giant windows lend a ton of natural light, especially for place that almost needs to wait until midday for some sunshine. The bagels absolutely hit the spot: fresh, satisfying, and exactly what we needed. Nothing overly complicated, just solid, well-executed breakfast. They have pastries and sandwiches, as well, but your girl needed a real New York bagel before this trip was through. What really stood out for me, though, was the hot cider on special. It was warm, spiced just right, and comforting for a November morning. I could easily see this shop as a regular go-to of mine if I lived in the neighborhood.

And listen... I am a chai queen, so when someone tells me a chai is worth trying, I'm going. She kept telling me, "You're going to love this chai." She orders hers with oat milk and extra cinnamon on top, so that's exactly what I got -- and when I tell you this was one of the best chai lattes I have ever had in my entire chai-drinking life? Silky. Smooth. Perfectly spiced. Just the right amount of warmth. Just... everything. Truly a great chai. The shop itself has such a good vibe. It's not huge, but the space is cozy in the best way. If you don't mind communal seating, it's perfect for settling in with your laptop or a book. They have outlets, the ambiance is chill, and it's one of those spots where you can really get work done while still feeling comfy. I haven't tried their pastries yet, but the atmosphere and that chai alone keep me coming back. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and that's something I really appreciate -- it makes the whole experience feel even better. Built Coffee has definitely become one of our go-to spots for getting out of the house, doing work, or just sipping on something warm and delicious. And again... get the chai. TRUST ME.

Make your own if you're not feeling theirs. It's worth it. Also writing this review because they are just quality people. I ordered a vegan pizza with some toppings but wanted pepperoni and that wasn't an option. I made a note asking if a substitution was possible, knowing it likely wasn't because of a price difference. Probably the best brussels I have ever had in my life and I'm not even that much a fan of the veggie. I've ordered the salt/brown sugar latte twice now. The first time, I got it iced and it was extremely salty and just wasn't a good latte at all. This time around, I ordered it hot and asked them to ease up on the salt since last time it was very salty, they eased up on it and it was such a great latte, I was so happy with it! I've gotten the chicken and waffles twice as well! I'm a big fan of guava infused butter and got two with my order. Generally the chicken and waffles are a HIT, but the waffles tasted a bit off to me this time around. I think it could mainly be that I was focused on how surprisingly good the brussels and coffee were, that I wasn't too focused on anything else. Service is pretty ehh to me at this place. Love that so far each time I've gone at different times and during different seasons, it's never too packed. Even when it is, it doesn't feel like it. I have not tried the dinner, just the brunch! Brunch is def a go too, can't wait to go again! Also, have not had a cocktail here, but looking forward to trying to hibiscus mule next!

I ended up starving and looking for a place in the neighborhood for a breakfast sandwich. Rimar looked good from the outside, there were a bunch of banners announcing them as a "brand new" business having a "grand opening". Once inside, I realized that was probably not true. Looking around, I didn't see any coffee nor was there any kind of posted menu indicating the possibility of breakfast sandwiches. The man behind the counter was friendly enough though, and took my order for 2 bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on a roll. He also indicated that he DID have coffee. Great! While I was waiting in the store for 15 minutes for my order. I noticed a woman (maybe another owner) casing the place down and staring at everyone who entered. I noticed that the rest of the store sold only a bleak selection of junk food. There was nothing interesting on the shelves! I noticed a man and woman come in, have an entirely transactional conversation and then leave, buying nothing. I noticed two separate hipsters walk in, look around and then walk out. I waited and waited. Finally, my order was ready. Without any register or paper calculations, the man told me my order was $10 exactly. Not feeling too good about that. The coffee was super hot and actually ok, I think he brewed a fresh pot on my request (thank you for that). The breakfast sandwiches were pretty awful. Greasy eggs, strangely chopped and super greasy bacon, you get the picture. I think Rimar could really do much better. They are in a great location without a lot of direct competition, in a neighborhood, that I am certain, would support a nicer deli with expanded options.
