My latte was actually better this day. We also tried some of the baked goods: a slice of pistachio bread (which was a great shade of green) and a slice of almond-poppy seed bread. Good flavor but they were a little dry. I'm assuming it was one of the other owners who waited on us. Again, super friendly (and fast). And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. I later learned from their website about their mission of, " including students and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in the creation of exceptional coffee". The name of the coffee shop and location suddenly made perfect sense. I'm really glad to have found this shop. It's wonderful to know that each purchase contributes to something so meaningful. Their website also includes fundraisers and other ways to make an impact to their cause.
