This location is consistently horrible when it comes to acknowledging customers. I come in often to pick up DoorDash orders, and the drinks will just be sitting there untouched while the staff act completely unapproachable. You try to get someone's attention and they purposely avoid eye contact like you're not even there. More than once I've waited nearly 20 minutes, only to find out the drink I needed had been sitting there the entire time -- never bagged, never handed off, nothing. Every other Starbucks I go to greets you, asks who you're picking up for, and the drinks are bagged and ready within a minute. But at this location it's like nobody cares. Even when I'm ordering for myself, it's still an issue. I've had them give my drink to the wrong person, leaving me standing there forever until I finally ask. Then they have to remake it. I've also gotten the wrong drink entirely multiple times. This isn't a one-off bad day -- it's every time, no matter what time of day. We just had a great experience here today. We ordered online and were charged for a sandwich but found out they were out when we got there. Cali was awesome and replaced the order with a grilled cheese abd a croissant with no additional charge. She was so sweet and helpful and genuinely cared about customer satisfaction, what a gem. The coffee they make so bad . I order extra salted cold foam . I pay extra $1,26 for that shit but they only give me regular amount of foam . I don't think there's been a time that I've come here in the past year that they've had the drink that I order every time it's always out of stock. Their line is always horribly long and there's like one person working the cash register, and one person making food and drinks it's just chaos prepared to wait a half an hour for a drink literally. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks daily for the past 8 months and have come to know the "dude" these guys are referring to as well as the staff and many of the other customers that frequent the place and can say that anyone that took the time to speak to him, appreciated his presence. Best Starbucks! Not only do they always make my drinks well but today I went to a Starbucks closer to me who got my order wrong and I didn't notice until I was on the highway. I called this Starbucks and explained and asked if there was any way they could remake the drink and she was so nice about it and had my order ready before I walked in the door. read more

Good staff and solid coffee as always

No matter when I've been to this location, it always seems wicked busy and rightfully so. They're right near two colleges, steps from the commuter rail station, and I believe this location is the last Starbucks on 128, so if you don't stop here on your way home to Gloucester you're SOL for your caffeine fix if you're a 'bucks junkie. There are perpetually long lines here, but they move fairly quickly. I imagine being at the commuter rail station they are used to big rushes of customers here and have taken steps to ensure efficiency. I'm not crazy about the layout in this particular shop. Sometimes there's a throng of people waiting for drinks and you have to awkwardly maneuver your way through them or through the tight seating quarters to get to the line to order. There's a decent amount of seating, but good luck getting a table as I don't think I've ever seen an empty one when coming here. read more

Get it together Starbucks... annoying to pay $5 for a coffee and have it not come out the way it is supposed to. This is a salted cream cold foam cold brew. If you have had it made correctly then you would know it shouldn't look anything like this. I just responded to another post by John P. and was not sure if that would be made public so I wanted my feelings about this issue to be seen. We were in the north Beverly Starbucks today and have been aware of the man being referenced in the prior post. We know of him and realize how concerning his behavior is. Today went above and beyond which is why I had to write an entry to address my concerns. The behavior exhibited today was appalling and at one point the man was licking and sucking on his pen...you can draw your own conclusion but to say it was inappropriate would be an understatement. I was speaking with the nice young girl behind the counter who was clearly uncomfortable and she said he had been there since 6 a.m. he had also given her a poem. I advised her to keep her distance and be very careful. There were alot of younger people there at that time all of whom were cautiously watching the lunacy being displayed. Many of them had looks of concern on there faces. I have seen him do this in here before but did not realize it was an ongoing show. I am appalled that this is allowed given we live in a time of see something say something. Is there anyone in management saying anything about this...where is the concern for both the staff as well as the customers???I find it upsetting that a business is not allowed to address clearly inappropriate behavior and risk losing customers or worse because of potential legal ramifications. Starbucks needs to step up before See Something say Something becomes an issue of hindsight. read more

This is the best Starbucks! The Baristas rock and they move the lines very quickly. You should tip well at this Starbucks. Seriously.

I love coffee, so it was nice having a Starbucks across the street when I was staying in Beverly. The only problem is that the service at this Starbucks was very sub par. I've been meeting a friend three times a week for a latte and a sandwich for the past 2-3 years. What a wonderful staff! Great attitudes, very patient and considerate and they always remember our names and our drinks. A really nice bunch of people. I tend to dislike patronizing a chain store/restaurant but this is an exception due to the wonderful baristas. read more

The service from the "veteran" staff is quite good. However, they are constantly hiring new people and because of this the experience is sub par for a Starbucks. It is in a constant state of dysfunction, and they get drinks wrong frequently enough to mention it. read more

Unfortunately this place is never consistent.. Its really disappointing. Waiting so long for your coffee just to taste it and have it be different from before... Nothing like your morning being ruined because of your coffee especially for the price. I wouldn't mind paying if it was good service and quality. But this morning for example i went through the drive thru which took a very long time. And i got a simple hot pumpkin coffee and it was like they spilled the whole pumpkin flavoring in it , my coffee was terrible. And i am one to love flavoring in my coffee. It did not taste right at all. i had work and could not return it and to have them be annoyed because im complaining is crazy because they should know how to make your coffee right in the first place. i cant imagine it being that hard. This Starbucks is great. The baristas are always friendly and always take the time to ask me how I'm doing. If they get your drink wrong they'll gladly remake it and often give you a coupon for a free one. It's sometimes crowded here in the morning and you have to wait in a long line, but it moves pretty quickly. They give out samples a lot which are really good and there are a lot of open seats. It's always nice and clean in there. read more
