Terrible . Worst Starbucks visit of my life asked for a mango dragonfruit refresher and specifically told them no lemonade I'm allergic to lemonade. And guess what these pricks did... gave me lemonade. Absolute garbage I've never met a lazier more unaware staff in my life. AND I had to 15 minutes for it asThey were unable to keep up with the demand of people. Not to mention the price of these drinks is outrageous I ordered three drinks for me my wife and our daughter and I paid a total of 16 dollars for three coffees. This is horse shit especially for a chain spoken so highly of. I truly don't understand why every town within a 50 mile radius has three of these. Not to mention there an odd stench in there and my wife told me it always smells like that. On top of that my drink was absolutely disgusting idk if I should blame it on the lemonade or the sheer incompetence radiating off of that Starbucks. I've been to different locations in the past and they did not even compare to the mismanagement, poor service, AND stench! just went in to grab egg bites. The woman who took my order seemed so out of it and distracted but maybe she was having a bad day. I waited and waited and waited for her to make it but she was too busy gossiping with the other workers about one of their girlfriends. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone! Other than the inconvenient hours they used to have really friendly helpful barista's. Not sure what happened recently but when I went in and asked a question about a suggestion the man was just about as rude as can be, not only that when I went to a different Starbucks they told me that the strongest thing I could order ( i dont normally drink coffee) was not just black coffee as the barista suggested. He was curt and rude and clearly didn't want to take the two minutes to explain to me what I could get instead he rushed me and rolled his eyes when I proceeded to ask for a packet of sugar. I request Starbucks so I don't normally write a review on them however, this location has gotten on my nerves. Monday I ordered a Venti Iced Green Tea Latte via mobile order. I was across the street ordered it as I was walking to my car. I get to Starbucks and my drink is sitting there looking like someone drank from it!! It looked like the barista made a grande and put it in a Venti cup. I was in a rush so I didn't say anything but as I was leaving this old lady waiting for her drink said to me "sweetheart your drink is made poorly you should say something." I said I know but I was in a rush and left. I gave them the benefit of doubt maybe ice melted even though I was there in 3-4 mins. Today (Wednesday) i went back to pick up my order which was identical to Mondays order. I ordered from the parking lot and after 4-5 mins I walked in. My order wasn't made which was perfect and according to plan so I can knew no ice or anything would be melted. The barista put my drink on the mobile counter and ONCE AGAIN, it was not fully filled. It blows my mind because I have never had this problem and I have been ordering the same drink for almost a year! I took some pictures and tried to keep the cup level in my hand. Horrible!! This Starbucks is better than others! This Starbucks has quick service, and very friendly employees. I got a caramel frappuchino and it was really creamy and had a good caramel flavor to it which was a plus. My issue with Starbucks is they make their frapps hard to suck in through the straw. So, it gets hard to drink. Although, I liked this Starbucks overall better than other Starbucks. read more

Loved this location. We were on a trip and staying for an event nearby. I came here every day. If I lived here, this would be my daily espresso drink location. The decor is very similar to my regular place at home and it also has lots of comfortable seating. Parking is easy. My custom drink was perfect every day, even the first time. The staff was friendly and efficient. Lots of goodies to eat, even some not available in my regular location. Though it is an oldie but goodie that I have heard is coming back at home too. I went to Starbucks yesterday before the 'lunch rush' to order a hot drink and a breakfast sandwich. I made sure to specify allergies to the cashier and asked for non-dairy options, or just no dairy at all. I got in line behind a couple before a family of 4 walked in to get on the line behind me, and to my surprise, the family of 4 (who had their orders taken after mine) received their drinks first before the Barista even started making my drink. I could understand if the barista had to make one drink for each party, but the family behind me ordered 3 drinks to my 1. After I had placed my order, I was told that the Starbucks was getting swamped by mobile orders, so there would be a long wait for food. I understand being busy with mobile orders, but shouldn't the people in the restaurant be prioritized over said mobile orders? Not only that, but I was able to leave and get lunch for later at a different establishment before returning for my breakfast sandwich and then had to proceed to wait for 5 more minutes. And the cherry on top? I asked for no cheese on my breakfast sandwich, and I got cheese melted on it. I couldn't even take it off and salvage the sandwich. I'm lactose intolerant and that is not okay. Breakfast ruined. Thanks a lot. Get it together, Starbucks. Your customer service is subpar, at best, and I'm pretty sure if people weren't addicted to your coffee, this location would be out of business. read more

This is a really well run Starbucks. It has plenty of parking, a really spacious interior, and the most consistently friendly and helpful staff I have seen in a long time. The staff are not only are helpful to customers in the store, they organize community outreach programs and really try to help the community. I do wish they would get change their permanent coffee from "Pikes Place Roast," which I find to be too tangy for my taste, but that is a nationwide problem at Starbucks, so I can't fault the Bville team... read more

First time I have been to this store in a few years. I noticed there was a sign on the door stating that "the store will be closing today at 2:00 pm". I went through the doors about 1:35 pm. I ordered a tall dark roast black and paid for it with my Starbucks card. As the barista started to turn away, he told me that the dark roast had just been thrown out and asked if he could substitute my order for Pike ( which to me is not real coffee, but that's my taste). I refused his offer and he asked if I wanted a refund or I could wait 8 or 9 minutes while he could serve me something (which he did not explain what). I said refund my order. He did apologize but I did waste 10 minutes of my life. Over the past 8-9 years I have noticed this is a constant at Starbucks stores, or it was when I went in daily - that after two-ish pm the dark roast option is no longer offered, only Pike (unsure of the exact name, or the reasoning). My experience with Starbucks is that service is hit or miss. Quality of coffee varies, probably due to unsatisfactory quality control somewhere along the line. The only barista that really understood the importance of the customer and who provided quality service was Janet at the Basking Ridge store, but I haven't been there since before the onset of the paindemic. read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered through the mobile order, food and beverage. Sat down, food was ready, asked about my coffee, they said not yet. I proceeded to eat my food, ran into a friend, and then went back to check on coffee. The barista rolled her eyes and said , the order's not here. I showed her my food order had 1 of 2, and she walked away to make me the same food item again. I said, um, no, I'm merely showing you that it was on your order (1 of 2). Some other round blonde woman showed up, and practically yelled, I called your order, it is there. Me: it's not here. she rolls her eyes, and said we called your order. Me: um, it's not here someone must have taken it. Again takes them 5 minutes to re-make it (no apology for their tone and rudeness.) I asked her for a voucher for a new drink. she reluctantly gave me one, which was worth only $4 (my drink cost me $6). At this point, I had to leave. I'm going to stop going to this starbucks, which is a shame, it's right around the corner from my house. AVOID AVOID AVOID. All the staff here should also be fired. I am actually going to complain to starbucks corporate. The staff (and manager, assuming the blonde gal was the manager) are beyond rude and ridiculous. The staff is friendly and they move a steady stream of customers through the ordering process quickly and efficiently..., seriously these people aren't messing around!!! The interior at this locations is comfortable and expansive so there is plenty of room to work or hang. The other thing I like is there are plenty of electrical outlets. A couple minor negatives are the music is too loud and there is no outdoor seating. On a nice day it is great to sit outside. This will be my go to place when I'm in the area! read more

This was my first time at this Starbucks location. I was surprised on how big and spacious this one was. The staff are friendly and fast. The place is clean and quiet. Out of all the Starbucks I've been to over the years, even as a former employee, this location is my favorite so far. All the room to move around and the variety of seating made it very comfortable. The staff was also professional and quiet. Most I go to are loud and the staff sometimes forgets the customers can hear everything but this one wasn't like that at all. This Starbucks used to be good and we have been regular patrons. They are now ignoring the mobile orders. The first time that I stood at the bar for 1/2 hr I thought it was a fluke. Then I overheard the barista instruct the employees to ignore the mobile orders because they are busy. It happened again days later and when we finally got the order it was wrong. They weren't even busy. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes while they casually socialized with customers and finally fixed the order. Seems like a great opportunity for a new coffee shop to come on the scene... Pete's, Kean, Alta... Months later...we started coming here again & it was ok a few times (morning hours)but today (during the afternoon) they are standing around socializing with one another. We were the only customers waiting for drinks. When our drinks finally arrived they were completely wrong. We ordered 3 London Fogs, 1 with coconut milk & 2 with soy milk. None of them had tea, just ice, water & milk. They tasted horrible! We asked them to correct them & the young male barista just kept arguing with us. I overheard a larger high school aged barista saying that she doesn't care. She kept turning her back to us, whispering to her coworkers making us extremely uncomfortable. They all kept turning around & looking at us. This is the worst customer service I have ever witnessed! We won't be back! read more

My drink was up to the high standard of quality I have come to expect from Starbucks. This review comes from a need to express my disappointment with the service I received. The associate standing at the cash register made me wait a good minute, as I stood in front of him, before taking my order, because he was texting. Look, I understand you have a personal life. Anyone (myself included) who has worked in a customer service position has used their phone on the floor. But you do not ever do it in front of a customer, and you especially do not keep them waiting to do so. Starbuck lovers beware. I have had it with the Bernardsville Starbucks. The only redeeming attribute is it's close to my home, and that's the only reason they get 2 stars. I am, however, willing to drive elsewhere. In a nutshell, the staff is completely anti-customer service and the coffee is just mediocre. First off, there is virtually no opportunity to ask any questions or make a request about your order because the employees are so busy chatting among each other and just out right ignoring all customers. And don't dare request that anything be refilled from the milk and sugar bar because the baristas will again blatantly ignore you while the ice in your drink melts! Unfortunately this specific issue is not particular to this Starbucks in my area. The baristas at the Riverwalk Starbucks in Basking Ridge also ignore customers. I can't tell you the number of times I've had to bring the empty half and half container up to the counter and have stood there with it in my hand, and have been ignored for way too long. The redeeming quality of Riverwalk is that the coffee at that location is better than any other Starbucks I've been to. My family spends a lot of money at Starbucks. In excess of $250 a month...clearly way too much. I am sick and tired of doing their job for them by tending to there fixing bar which, by the way, is filthy 90% of the time. I don't need to be best friends with the Starbucks employees, but I would think that being attentive to any customer in their store would be a priority. read more

i come to this starbucks every day. i usually do mobile orders and it always takes much longer than it says it will on the app. i get an iced london fog latte and they make it different every time. usually the employees are chatting and making different drinks to try while one barista is working on orders. when i ask them to remake a drink it always seems to be an issue and the barista will often tell me i'm wrong and that the drink is exactly the way it's supposed to be. they're super passive aggressive once i tell them they're wrong. some days the employees are ok but lately it seems like they hire just anyone. read more

Often times when I go to this Starbucks, they don't fill my drink all the way. Why am I paying full price when I'm not getting a full drink? Also I normally order some sort of peach tea lemonade and on multiple occasions they gave me plain peach tea. No lemonade in it at all. I never know what I'm going to get from this place. read more

Today something wonderful happened at Starbucks in Bernardsville. So Mindy our golden has been sick for a while and she is dying (We may have to put her down). I was very distarted and accidentally ordered my starbucks order to the Bedminster store. Well after waiting a while for the order I realized my error and ordered to the right starbucks. The employees were nice and fast with my order. I told the lady who was making my drink about how I accidentally ordered to the wrong store and she went above and beyond. She refunded my order and I was very grateful as I was not expecting that. I did not ask her what her name was but I believe that she and person making my drinks are amazing, sweet, and very on top of things. I believe that we need more kind things like this in the world. For me I will be much more careful about placing my drink order. :) Thank you Starbucks for amazing employees that went above and beyond in a time of personal sadness. read more

Rude baristas!! The chestnut praline latte was only 75% full, and they refused to admit they made the drink like that and accused me of drinking it. This is the best local Starbucks for killing some time and enjoying your drink. It's always crowded, but they have lots of seating space, and a huge parking lot. Unlike the Riverwalk location, you can actually find a spot to relax without getting jostled by folks waiting on line. They may not always get the drinks right, but life is about adventure, right? read more
