As compared to many places here they actually serve iced coffee with ice! They speak English here, its an L shaped layout with some inside seating, but the best part is the nice outside seating in the front on the outside patio. Perfect to take a break and watch the world walk by.

One of the larger locations I've seen anywhere. Workers speak English so it's good for visitors, but even more so are the many locals working/studying or just hanging out. There are outdoor patio-style seating as well. A very good and clean spot considering how much foot traffic it must get. Too bad they do not take US Starbucks rewards card so cash or credit/debit only.

This branch of Starbucks is quite a large branch with inside and outside seating. As with all Starbucks stores in Germany, the prices did seem quite high, considerably higher than what it would cost in the Uk once the currency is converted, mainly down to how Starbucks is run in Germany by a company who own their stores, hence meaning UK and US Starbucks cards can't be used here. I ordered a Grande Caramel Popcorn Frappucino, as I found the concept and the drink to sound interesting and I wanted to try it, the overall quality of the drink was poor and the caramel, popcorn and coffee didn't form well together, infact I found it to be a little sickly. The overall feel of this branch is okay, the staff didn't seem too friendly but this was mainly down to the language barrier as of course this is a store in Germany and I don't speak German, I speak English. There was also a homeless man walking around the store for a few minutes inside trying to approach customers and beg for coins, I found this to be a little off-putting and with no disrespect intended, he shouldn't have been allowed to beg inside and should have been moved on considerably sooner in that regard. This branch is in a very good location on Kurfurstendamm and is one of three branches in the area, I visited two of them and out of the two I visited (the other located at number 261) this was a nicer branch but due to incidents with my poor drink and of course the high pricing which is common for all Starbucks in Germany, and other factors mentioned, I think this is one of the poorer Starbucks branches I have visited in the city of Berlin, and I have visited a large number of stores, albeit it isn't the poorest, that is probably one of the train station branches I have visited (Search Starbucks Germany on my Profile to read the rest), it is among them hence sadly warranting a single one star rating.

This branch of Starbucks is located inside Ostbahnhof Train Station in Berlin, with it being a…read moreSunday and of course all shops are forced to close in Germany on Sundays, I called via the station to go to the Rewe Supermarket and then onto this branch of Starbucks, with it being my last full day in Berlin before I flown back home to Manchester the next day, I didn't want to travel too far with a day of travelling back ahead. This branch of Starbucks is quite poor and I also think it is a franchise store, because it seems more expensive than the regular Starbucks stores in Germany, even for merchandise with some mugs a couple of euros more expensive, luckily the mug I bought of Munich / Munchen from the "You are here collection" As with all Starbucks stores in Germany, the prices did seem quite high but this was on another level, considerably higher than what it would cost in the Uk once the currency is converted, mainly down to how Starbucks is run in Germany by a company who own their stores, hence meaning UK and US Starbucks cards can't be used here. I ordered a Venti Iced Vanilla with Whipped Cream, this came to about 5.39 euros as I recall, the guy who served me didn't really acknowledge me, he was really unfriendly. He wouldn't give me a receipt for my mug and drink, he wouldn't even offer me a bag for my mug. When my drink was served, I found they got my order wrong and forgot to add on Whipped Cream, the woman who served my drink just left and walked off, leaving me to stand there for a few minutes waiting for someone to come back and sort my drink out, only to be told I'd have to pay a further 89 cents to get whipped cream, I felt outraged as my drink was expensive enough already and I had to end up paying more for something which is free for me in the UK as a Gold level Starbucks member. My drink ended up costing about 6.28 euros, I can't remember the exact figure but I'm pretty sure it was more than that, this would have been at least 20 cents more expensive than the same drink at another branch, and equal to 5.74 pounds which works out nearly double the cost of my drink would have been in the UK, which is normally £3.10 This Starbucks store really is a huge let down especially for service and it takes the already expensive prices of Starbucks in Germany and adds another levy of them, you can't even use the 20% offer here or get it from saving a receipt, which means it will also end up costing me more in the long-term as I visit another branch of Starbucks this evening. This is one of the worst branches of Starbucks I've probably visited during my time in Berlin sadly, mainly down to the pricing and really rude staff, hence is worthy of a single one star rating.

The other great for Starbucks is that you can get your regular coffee when not at "home". It's like the home away from home for your coffee. The only improve would be if I could use my UK Starbucks app, in a similar way that I can use my Uber app when in Germany. So overall, a great coffee shop for when you're on the move :-)

I loved everything about this place :) carrot, apple & ginger fresh juice = YES PLEASE!!! It was a brisk but sunny day and with the blankets they provide draped over your lap it was a great way to fall into that Berlin vibe... Why am I reviewing so long after my visit? We're going back in a few weeks for the marathon again and can't WAIT to revisit :) this time we're ready for the pesky wasps though!!!

As with all Starbucks stores in Germany, the prices did seem quite high, considerably higher than what it would cost in the Uk once the currency is converted, mainly down to how Starbucks is run in Germany by a company who own their stores, hence meaning UK and US Starbucks cards can't be used here. This branch basically has no room to go for your coffee, it really is a train station and travel store, to the point you get your coffee and go, perhaps you're lucky you find a bench or take it on a train, this is the opposite of the former location in Manchester Piccadilly or the location inside London Waterloo, which are two other branches of Starbucks in railway stations which have seating. The staff also seemed rude, most of the merchandise was unique to the store in terms of it being the older style city mugs for many cities across Germany, honestly I hadn't heard of most of them or seen those mugs at any other Starbucks branches and it was rather frustrating and a real shame to see they didn't sell the newer style of mugs, or even a good selection / number of Berlin mugs, which is actually the city which this location of Starbucks is in. While considering the issues which I hate about Starbucks in Germany as a whole as well as issues which are unique to this store such as the really poor, slow service and rude stuff, merchandise issue and the overall feel of the store with no seating, and the unwelcoming nature, I sadly feel this branch deserves a single one-star rating.

I paid 3,50 EUR or something for some juice which was called exotic something (unfortunately I forgot). I should have probably complained about it, but I was too tired and worked out that early at night/in the morning. The drink was watery and it had pieces of pineapple peel in it, which is - whatever you think - not very tasty and smooth. Anyway. Unfortunately, a waste of money. 2 out of 5, because it was open at this time of the day. Maybe I'll try another one next time.
