This is "The" friendliest Starbucks I have ever walked into. The first thing you hear when walking in is, "Welcome In"...seriously? Never hear that anywhere else. 10 people behind the counter serving up a busy store, friendly, with genuinely smiling faces. When they are not busy they were cleaning the floors, washing the window. What surprised me was the new coffee brewer, they are now using a per cup brewer, moving away from coffee sitting in a tank. A fresh brewed coffee each time. Love it. Two reasons for my post today. I have no issues with the staff. They're always nice. Excellent staff just like any location I've visited. Of course, I did have some other favorite locations, but during the last 4 and 5 years of Covid. Barista's have come and gone. Congratulations to them. Number One. This location stays out of Peppermint Syrup. I think they get a re-up on Wednesday because that's when I usually see it. But by Monday it's gone. I think they should double that order if it's selling like that. Apparently I'm not the only one who uses it. Same with Apple Juice. It's usually gone on Monday too, but it was available today. Number Two. Even though the Drive-Thru line is always long. That's the only way I can get the Green Stick. Atlanta has the worst roads. Based on the pic I posted. My drink does not survive the drive to my destination. So, when you do pickup inside. They've remove the Green Sticks. And the brown things to keep it from burning your hands. Hopefully that's just today or this week or the holiday season. Because that's usually available. But today it was not. As a Gold Card Holder for the last 8 years. Great renovation! But, the service is still average, the cashiers inside are not welcoming nor do they make an effort to know you or care. The drive-thru personalities are more personable and warm. I walked in to sit as I had time between meetings, the decor is clean, modern and minimalistic- not a lot of space to sit and play chess like previously but its better for pickup service,quick meeting. while I appreciated the gospel serenade the employees were singing on a beautiful Sunday, between the 8 employees not one person acknowledged us for close to four full moments. Like hello are we invisible. The service here was horrible. Friendly people I know because the employees were deep in conversation and I heard their entire personal conversations but I mean y'all are at work and it's customers........ honestly a good group of friendly adjacent folks that need more training on how to properly handle customers. While they did start to acknowledge customers by saying hello when they walked in the line had about 7 people behind me and we were just alll patiently waiting. I've been coming to this location since it's doors opened and there is a reason why, quite a few actually. This crew is one of the most efficient in the city. They are so pleasant, helpful, and clearly very well-organized because they are rarely out of anything (even in the thick of Covid supply chain issues). They aren't superhuman, they make mistakes like all of us, but they correct and are kind. They are super-focused on making the customer experience an enjoyable one and at the start of my day, that's exactly what I need. Let say for starters that this Starbucks is in a cream de la cream location when it comes to be convenient on the Southside of Atlanta. I love thats it's near the interstate and near a shopping plaza that holds shared parking . I've been to this location before and in my opinion things has improved since my last visit which was some time ago . Today I headed inside to order to avoid the long carline wait . I was the only customer in line to order , what a bonus !!! I ordered my favorite tall caramel latte. I usually substitute whole milk for almond and pay the up charge. If I could change anything , it would definitely be the pricing for almond milk . Anywhoo , the manager I suppose was nearby enjoying her lunch . She noticed that no one was attending to my beverage . She quickly left her lunch , greeted me with her kind presence , and hurried to my coffee . I really appreciate her customer service . This Starbucks is located on Cascade Road not too far off of 285. It isn't a sit alone, as it shares a small building with a few other businesses. Given it's location and set up, parking can be a little tricky on busy days. It's not impossible, but can get tight. The drive thru was pretty busy when I arrived, per usual for SB, so I opted to grab an open spot and head inside. Inside was clean and open with minimal seating available given the pandemic. One thing I really liked here was the wall length bench right under the really great wall art showing the different coffee growing regions around the world! Service was ok, they were kind and helpful, but clearly overwhelmed and busy. Somehow my drink got lost in the shuffle and I only noticed once the three people behind me got theirs before I did. I went back to check on the status and they were unsure what happened, but at that moment made my drink quickly. I am really never in this area, but in the event I happen to be again and the craving for an iced white chocolate mocha hits, I will certainly swing by this Starbucks location! read more

This is arguably the worst Starbucks in Atlanta. First off, getting in is a nightmare. You can either enter from Cascade, or from the side street, which means that during busy times-- you have cars trying to enter the drive-thru from two opposing directions, competing to get to the podium, which literally causes conflict with the customers. If you choose to go inside, the parking lot itself is terrible. It's shared with like two other business and there's not nearly enough spaces. And they almost all interfere with the drive-thru, so both parking and leaving are ultimately a hassle. But the most important part: the drinks. I have been drinking starbucks since I was in elementary school. I still remember my very first visit. For years I patronized the same location and through the baristas, I learned to customize my drinks to make them taste how I like. But here?? No matter how much you customize your drink, it's never going to taste right because they're still going to do what they want and make it the menu way. Yuck. If you're in drive thru and you decide to try to go inside and return it, you can barely park and then you go inside and you're met with no eye contact and attitude. This is the closest location to my home, so I find myself giving them chance after chance, but at this point, I realize it's a lost cause and I'm never going back. read more

I get it that on freight day a few boxes may be sitting around, but that doesn't explain the overflowing trash cans, refrigerator door left open, half & half containers empty, etc. At one point I saw two overwhelmed associates trying to find something in one of the many boxes stacked along the wall near restroom, only to give up in frustration. I have visited this location many times, mornings mostly before heading to work. The food is normally fresh, accurate, and good. The customer service skills need some work of course but after reading the reviews here that's not a shocker. But what is a shocker is that the owner is on-site quite often so these reviews should start getting better unless he is not listening to his customers' concerns. I paid a visit here today and a young lady that had TEE embroidered in her apron greeted me rudely at the drive-thru window. She was very rude as she practically yelled at me for my name then after she brought me my drank they forgot the rest of my order and she made a jester with her hand as if I was holding up her line and I needed to hurry up. After I placed my order earlier on my app so I was slightly confused about the sternness she pointed and openly displayed to me. I remember when I had just moved to the area and began coming here to do work. I really enjoyed dining in while getting some work done. The staff was always courteous and orders were always prepared pretty quickly and accurately. Now that my schedule has changed I tend to rely on Starbuck's mobile app a bit more regularly since I am always rushing off to the next thing. I like the convenience of putting in my order, arriving at a Starbuck's in the timeframe communicated through the app, and just grabbing my order off the rack and going about my day. I've used the mobile app when picking up orders at the Cascade location now several times over the past few months and they consistently have 'not seen' my order come in. After waiting for about 10 additional minutes to see if maybe it will ever show up on the pickup rack in case they were slammed just before I came in, I then have to ask a staff member about my order, to which the response for the past few times has always been, "What did you order?" Then they look through some list and reply, "Oh! I didn't see that come in!" Then I have to wait for them to start preparing my order after already waiting to see if it will show up on the rack. Starbuck's Cascade, what's the point of giving customers the mobile app option if they're going to have to come to the counter and place the order again for you to begin making it? There were at least 8 staff total either out on the floor, training or at the drive-thru. My order was completed, no name was taken. Not your typical Startbucks, folks who work here appear to be very happy. I heard laughter as walked through the doors. music to my ear. I smiled instantly. Everyone one behind the counter were all smiles. It's possible someone told a joke, but I like to think they were happy to see me. yep, I'm a dreamer. Firstly my review is solely based on the traffic at this location. The traffic in the morning is HORRIBLE. My suggestion to the owner of this location is to take a page from the chic fil a booklet of operations and get staff out to conduct traffic during peak hours. I almost was hit twice at this location in my vehicle. Also, the customers have no concept of traffic rules and will sit in the MIDDLE of the thruway between McDonald's and this location for coffee WTH!! This is truly sad and the logistics piece should be considered to make for a better customer experience. I am not from Atlanta and we moved to this area which now we are truly regretting as there are LIMITED OPTIONS for everything to include coffee which is why I surmise the local businesses are always CROWDED! This Starbucks is really starting to get on my nerves! I'm unable to come through the work week because it's not convenient with my route to, or from work...so I usually swing through the drive thru on weekends. I'm not sure if they have a different team during the week & maybe team benchwarmers works the weekends, not sure. The guy who works the drive thru is always slow...hands down...no sense of urgency & is apparently a trend with the other people who were working there. When I entered the store it was nice & clean, but it took way too long for someone to acknowledge my presence at the register. I used to work at Starbucks & this is not how it's supposed to go! There was apparently no communication between the cashier and the young lady heating the breakfast sandwiches because I was asked for my name, but when my sandwich came up I had to go search for it because the lady called the sandwich name instead of my name. More than one person ordered a breakfast sandwich & I don't want to touch someone else's food! And why aren't y'all using order labels like other locations?! This location is consistent at one thing: Messing up a order. I've gone 2x's to this location and it's the same thing. Today I go and I ordered through the drive through. The young lady doesn't call the other back out, just says pull around for me total. I get to the window, No hello, No recite of the total, just scans my phone. She then comes back with a drink and hands it to me and walks off. I look at the label and she forgot the milk substitution. I get another young lady's attention and ask her is it almond milk in the cup. Her response: did you ask for it? So I tell her I did and she in a rude way says well if you don't see it on the label it's not in the cup. So I proceed to say well it needs to made over. A woman whom I'm assuming is the manager proceeds to ask me to pull up to a parking space and they'll bring it to me. Within 5 minutes the manager is walking out with the cup, hands it to me and walks off. There's no label on this cup. So at this point I'm wondering how am I supposed to know if my milk substitution is correct this time? And how'd it take you 5 minutes to make a drink I sat in line 30 minutes for? This location is the worst Starbucks near the metro Atlanta area. Every time they mess up my very simple order, they catch an even bigger attitude. I watched the woman in front of me send two drinks back because her order was wrong as well.
