The baristas are really good and were able to make all of our orders, including a *perfect* ristretto for my husband. They're also super friendly and more than willing to make sure that you are happy with your food and drinks. It's primarily a drive-through coffee shop, which seems to be the norm around this part of the country (and thus a novelty to this South Floridian), but they are adequately equipped to handle the casual coffee drinker on foot with ceramic mugs and plates. Sure, it's not a Starbucks interior, but the coffee is well worth the lack of high end design. As with any dining, drinking or drive-through establishment, knowing what you want to order when you get to the point where you actually *can* order is par for the course. Lindsey and her mother-in-law obviously haven't learned this rule yet and thus should stick to the chain coffee places. :D

I've been a customer of Starbucks for nearly 35 years. In all of 8 years of supporting this location and tipping handsomely for all of that time, I was accused by Melissa Karaff, district manager, of leering at the employees, touching myself going through the drive-through, and being disrespectful to the staff. I was handed a tresspass notice by a cop 3 weeks ago. Pulled over in downtown Anacortes a week after I had been there. 3 weeks later Melissa Karaff sent me an email last night, outlining why I'm tresspassed from Starbucks. She decided 3 weeks later - to harass me and add more lies. She banned me from all Starbucks in Skagit County for not living up to a moral code of conduct. I never met her before. Never did any wrong to anyone. I am a business owner in Anacortes. I was on my way to a customers house and stopped there to gift my customers. I have a reputation of professionalism and ethical conduct to uphold, both for my customers and potential customers. I'm not a sexual deviant, nor am I willing to stand for this outrageous abuse. I have a big heart and volunteer in Anacortes. I detail houses and quite good at it with 40 years in customer service. My name, conduct and behavior matters to me. How I act and treat people, matters to me! I practice the golden rule of being good to others. I care about the quality and decency of how I treat people. I have treated people in this town with kindness, and live by a code of conduct as my career and lifestyle demands it. I don't touch myself going through a Starbucks drive through on my way to work, leering at the baristas, or do things that would jepordize a 40 year career and the trust of the Anacortes Community. Cameras dont lie, but Melissa does! Anyone viewing that video would see that she lied. The cop wouldnt even check. Flat out refused to look at any evidence. I live by a moral code of compassionate and ethical behavior. As far as being accused of leering at the employees and touching myself through their drive through... I had a wife that cheated on me and was unfaithful. My heart was broken by her and I never recovered. I don't date, I don't lust after women, and I have no personal interest in taking this kind of abuse or tolerating it. My trust was shattered by my ex. I don't sexually objectify women. If people knew how hard it is to heal from betrayal, they would treat me with respect. These lies that the baristas and Mellissa Karaff have leveled against me are immoral and go against everything that I believe in and practice in my daily life...and no one should support this Starbucks or any other for that matter. I have carried the pain from losing my wife due to her infedility and never remarried or dated again because of being burned by others immorality. I'm a spiritual man. I treat people with respect. The guilt trip and getting banned for not measuring up to Starbucks moral code of conduct by Melissa Karaff, district manager, especially at Christmas, is a personal attack. If they did this to you, you would understand the level of humilation, and betrayal of my trust. Being delusional is one thing, but to accuse someone falsely and guilt trip them about morality and ethics all while lying - is disgusting. Please do not go here and support this business. It is horrible they got away with it, and need to be held accountable. read more

The worker proceeded to make things at a turtles pace, stopping to talk about work drama with the other worker and another customer. It took her over 12 min to get most of our stuff to us. We were just waiting on the bagel when she comes up and says I'm sorry am I forgetting something? So we had to wait for her to make that and we had to pay for the bagel separately because she forgot to even charge us. And guess what!! She made the wrong bagel. I've never been the type to write reviews about places but I genuinely was speechless about our experience. We arrived at Angler's coffee at 11:05, as the second car in line, and we left at 11:35. 30 min is absolutely ridiculous for a drive thru and being the 2nd car in the line.
