Their sandwiches are exactly how they should be and have no comparison. The tasty caldo gallego or fabada asturiana also stand out, along with a great variety of sweets, breads, wines, cured meats, seafood, and meats. This is a place that has been serving its customers for many years. The menu is very complete and varied. Due to the high volume of customers, parking (in front, on the side, and in the back) is often full, but it's always highly recommended. This place is super nice, it reminded my wife & I of Porto's a bit. They've got both indoor & outdoor seating. We ordered their classic coffee with coconut, called the Coqui. Now the place is awesome atmosphere, good drinks, good food, but it took way too long to get our order, amateur hour as far as that goes. It took them 45 minutes to get our coffee & food out, and we're not talking a four course meal chef Ramsey prepared, it was literally 1 breakfast sandwich. We weren't alone either, countless people waiting for a very long time with us, I don't get how it could get you that point to be honest. They had at least 10 workers back there, I could see 10 minutes, even 15, 20 is pushing it, but 45? This one had a ton of floury tasting powdered sugar on the top and bottom of the top and inside the top and bottom of the bread, not normal at all. And for whatever reason, mine was served with the insides of the bread out side but I saw others that weren't served that way. So strange. And the ham was oddly pale. Also, no knives or forks to be found, so the extra sugar was extra confusing Quesitos- I ordered 4 to take out. I should not have. They went straight to the trash. The dough was severely under baked and soggy yet the filling was dry and crumbly without barely any sugar on top to offset the cream cheese. Arroz con Dulce- overly sweet and watery. Also went straight to the trash. Should be a little thicker from the starch of the rice combining with the sweet milk as it cooks. It tasted like they cooked the rice separately and then added cinnamon, evaporated milk and a ton of sugar without heating it. Not even a hint of vanilla to be found. For $44 dollars before tip. It was straight disrespectful to tourists and locals alike.
