We wanted something sweet, so we stopped at Drunken Cookies! These cookies were great and honestly better than some I've had back home in Connecticut. So cool that each one comes with a shot! The Brookie, black and white, and signature chocolate chip were great. I would definitely come back to try more if I was in the area again!

My cookie was scrumptious and the mini shot was so cute! You get a mini shot for free with a cookie purchase. The staff were very friendly and spoke both English and Spanish, so it is a very tourist-friendly spot as well.

Drunken Cookies was a hit. The atmosphere is 10/10- a fun vibe for sure. There are so many cookie options sure to satisfy your cravings. Staff is helpful and service is quick even when there's a line. I mean, these are huge, delicious cookies. There's nothing else to say besides go try them and remember you get a shot with each cookie (you can choose something nonalcoholic!)

Cookies are so creative, and the workers are so helpful! Counters are decorated with the cookies and displayed life size to help you decide. Frankie especially was very sweet!

Cookie shot and free bag

Yoooo this was such a great end to my best friend's Bachelorette trip! We got 6 cookies and got a free t shirt. Also got the cookie shot with coquito which was delightful. I usually am not the biggest fan of coquito because of the bitterness but this one was so sweet. We also got a free shot for each cookie purchased. This place is so much fun and plenty of seating available! Cashier was very patient with our large group and with our many questions haha

Got the cookies and cream cookie and it was amazing. Definitely would suggest trying it with the RumChata. Tasty and ask for cookie to get warmed up. Place is popular and i like my margarita virgin frozen drink . Would return again people are nice and give good suggestions. Edited: service terrible they pick and choose who they want to help . Waited in line and they took the person who just walked up. I stood on the side she didn't want to acknowledge me biggest ick Nice size place but they need to stay on top of cleaning tables

One thing i can say about this place is presentation is 10/10. They gave us a free t-shirt with the purchase of 6 cookies and a cute baggie. We had high hopes for the cookies but didn't find them all that good :/ We got classic chocolate chip and biscoff they were okaaay, but not worth the price in my opinion. That could just be personal preference though, i would still reccomend trying atleast one and sharing with someone!!!

Pricey, but the quality is fire. Ordered the coquito shot, the guava cookie, and the chocolate chip Nutella. They were DELICIOUS--chewy and well filled. Place gets packed so be patient, it's worth it!

Liquor options for your cookie shot glass

This place was gimmicky and I absolutely fell for it. I was in Puerto Rico and wanted to drink coquito out of a cookie shot glass. This place offered that opportunity, so I took it. There was a bit of a line on the night we were here, but it moved quickly. I went for the chocolate chip cookie shot glass, handed over $10 and waited a few minutes for my order to come out. The coquito was good, but I wished they would've given me a little bit more as it didn't fill the shot glass up very much. The cookie shot glass was just okay - very sweet but a bit dry. Ambiance in here was really fun though. I think maybe I should've went with an actual cookie versus the shot glass, as the cookies I saw coming out looked pretty delicious. Maybe next time.

Tried the cookie shot and the strawberry cheesecake cookie. Didn't enjoy the cookie shot but the strawberry cheesecake cookie was good. We had them warm it up and even ordered more to take home.

Great time to enjoy some dessert after an awesome dinner. The service was so quick and friendly. The free shots with the cookie was perfect. Definitely a place to check out while you are here in town. I'll be back to visit family soon just to get some more cookies lol The design of the establishment was to cute. They literally have a TV showing you how yous can utilize the free shot. Cute decor and lights.

Very friendly and quick service!! We got the Coquito and Horchata. Coquito was 10/10, Horchata was a little watery 7/10. Overall definitely a over hyped experience but worth trying once. The tables were mostly dirty and it ran hot inside so not necessarily the best ambiance- why were they birds inside?

Yum!!!

San Juan has narrow street and people EVERYWHERE but we made it! We parked in a garage parking lot. It was $6 per hour and they do valet because it's so small... then you WALK! We arrived at Drunken cookies and there was no line so I ordered. 3 cookies and two cookie shots! They are GOOD what a fun gist for someone too! It cost $50 for that plus a pina colada.

It's hard to say anything bad about this place!…read more The line is long, but it's full of excitement and gawking at everyone's gelato and seeing their faces when they take their first taste. Also, the line moves pretty quickly. At $7.19 for the regular (two flavors), it's not cheap (PR McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone is $0.99 for comparison!), but it's definitely worth doing (at least) once. The flavors are all extremely unique and it's a mystery what may be in a specific flavor (e.g. Pavlova and mixed berries), but you can try to your heart's content for free. In the end, I doubt there is a "bad" flavor. My favorites were cookieman (like Oreo cookies in a vanilla base) and chocolate cookie. Pistachio was good, but a taster would have sufficed. Sadly, they did not have a mint and chip!

Very cute interior, clearly well thought out and designed to be a photo/insta location. The colors and decor all flowed well. But beyond that, they have wonderful flavors! We tried about 7 in our group and they were all good. Tasted high quality and you could distinguish what the flavor was supposed to be. Fresh made on site I would guess. The order process is a little difficult w use they have so many flavors spread out over about 15 feet of displays. Hard to pick what you want without running back and forth to see if you would miss anything! The seating areas were nice and had lots of seating. Disappointed to see that the bathroom was out of order and just had an envelope with a handwritten message on it. Really took away from the experience. But would enjoy again!

Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

First--rolled ice cream is basically edible entertainment. I stood there way longer than necessary watching them flatten, scrape, and roll it like I had nowhere else to be. It's giving Food Network... but you get to eat the finale. The flavors? BANGING. Super creamy, fresh, and not overly sweet--which means you can actually finish it without feeling like you need to lie down immediately after. Big win. The vibe is adorable--very vintage, colorful, and just a fun little spot to duck into and cool off. Definitely one of those places you end up taking pictures in without planning to. Service was adequate--nothing over-the-top, but they kept things moving and got us through the line without any issues, even when it was busy. Place looked clean, which matters when people are basically performing dairy gymnastics in front of you. Overall: great treat, fun experience, and absolutely worth the stop. Would I go back? So, we are walking around old San Juan and I'm like homie I need the first drink we can find! Enter La taberna lúpulo. First, dude servicing the bar was extra cool. Just friendly and engaged and didn't act like we just business, but friendly. I wasn't even planning on drinking beer. But my homie was like what do you recommend and he poured a sample of some blonde ale and... wheat ale con parcha!! I was like o snap let me have a glass of that. Fire!! I wouldn't call it sweet, but it has that hint. More importantly it was fresh and not funky. I personally find tap beer is usually not fresh tasting and tend to prefer bottles or cans when I drink beer. But that was not a problem here. Tasted brand new and delicious. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of old San Juan. The decor was fun and eclectic. I'm a fan of the elephant personally due to my old school ties with elephant size productions. Oh and it was super inexpensive. It was like $4-$5 a beer iirc. Which is crazy for a trendy neighborhood like this (La factoría around the corner). Great job to the staff at Lúpulo. Highly recommended.
