My child currently attends here since we moved to view park windsor hills area. I did tour the school beforehand. There are many activities for children to participate in like chess, choir, soccer etc. The school is small so the aides in the after school program are very attentive and hands on. The aide from last year moved on and even brought presents for all the kids on her last day. I have spent a lot of time on campus the last 2 years and i dont find it "ghetto." The parents are very involved and the staff is caring. The teachers my daughter has had have been great. I really cant find anything to complain about. The kids are well mannered and always greet me with a hug. I would never insult these lovely kids. Of course in any elementary school, a couple of kids can get rambunctious but i would just look at them sideways and they will straighten up. If you are looking at schools in view park windsor hills, i would encourage you to see for yourself. No school is perfect; they do their best and as a parent you have to do your best. You cant just dump your kid at school and expect great results. You have to do the work too. Its also not the school's job to raise your kid to have good manners. That starts in the home.

But after a year, the utterly clueless Dr. O derailed everything. She bullies and belittles young women, and when called out, she rewrites reality. The school's response? Crickets. We have never…read moreexperienced anything but empathy, professionalism, inclusion, and academic integrity at Echo. The teachers are top notch. They teach the traditional subjects in such a bright and engaging way, our daughter fell in love with subjects she never even felt comfortable with earlier in her life: science, writing, and math. Ms. Proctor has to be the best kept secret on the Westside. She is a dynamic, kind, no-B.S. leader. The administration spends ALL of their time crafting the best educational and social experience for our kids, not fundraising, boosting and assuaging egos, and creating unimpactful events. Everyone is low-key. Real. Our lives are changed by attending Echo. Their kids go on to the most selective secondary schools in Los Angeles. If your kids don't fit in those pods, they won't lead you astray. They'll shepherd you to where your particular kid will thrive and show them love all the way.

Basically, if you can't afford a huge part or all of the $35,000 yearly tuition, you are out!! My son is a gifted student, so I had asked for a scholarship for him. We were in the process of enrolling him for six months, with the hopeful intentions of him going to a great school. But because we can't afford it, we were denied.

My daughter adores every aspect of FTH--from the enriching classes to the academic challenges that have helped her thrive. Now at 5, she even enjoys practicing cursive! What sets FTH apart is how the staff truly gets to know each child. When she first started, she was shy and prone to the typical meltdowns. The team nurtured her and thoughtfully paired her with peers who were a great match for her personality. This personalized care has transformed her into a confident, outgoing child who isn't afraid to try new things or speak up for herself. The blend of diverse personalities among the staff creates a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where strangers quickly become friends. I always feel at ease leaving my daughter in such a safe, supportive environment. I have no doubt she's making lifelong memories, and I highly recommend FTH to any family seeking a nurturing, enriching experience for their child.
