That's what you get for trying to make a cartoon character come to life. Who would believe that something with a head that big would be able to walk anywhere but cartoon land? At any rate, this is the last store you're going to see driving North for a long way. It's the last store you're going to see anywhere near the Blackrock Playa. The store is easy to access and was well stocked. I found the few things I wanted and was able to ring up the sale at the self checkout without any delay. The parking lot was clean but the cart corrals needed some attention today. I always find it interesting that you can buy liquor in a supermarket in Nevada. I didn't need any today but it's different than my experience in North Carolina where spirits are restricted to state-operated liquor stores. Hooray for freedom. I am something of a grocery outlet fanatic. This one is one of the best if not the undisputed best grocery outlet I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. It was very well organized. The baristas here are incredibly friendly. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to come over from the bakery, but they're always willing to call someone over if you need them. They make a lot of fun specialty drinks like the Snickers and the strawberry cheesecake if you're into that (I'm not--but I know a lot of customers around here are.). They do different discounts almost every day so you can often score a deal, and if you buy ten drinks you get one free. The baristas are always happy to make you just what you want. They have oat milk and a lot of flavor options which makes things really customizable. I am pretty impressed with this little place.
